It is the best college for entering the industry.

Placements: Around 100% of our batchmates are currently placed, with some even having 2 or 3 offers. The highest salary package is 13 LPA and the lowest is 3.36 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Wipro and TCS. All students have internships with the companies they are currently placed with.

It is a great college but a little expensive.

Placements: This is one of the best colleges. All the teachers are familiar to students. I don't know much about the packages offered. Seniors are very good and friendly. All my classmates are helpful.

The college is worth of money and has a good atmosphere.

Placements: The placement is not very good, but compared with other colleges of Uttarakhand, we can say that it is good. For computer branch, there are many companies, but for electronics, there is no chance. The only name of Birla is there, and you have to go off-campus. If you have that name, then you can select anywhere.

Satisfied with my college.

Placements: The placements of Birla Institute of Applied Sciences is very good. Almost, 85% of the students got placed in big companies. Every year, the placement is between 80 to 85%. The companies like Adobe, Wipro, and Anchor came for the students to the college. The average package offered to the students was 3.60 lakhs per annum and goes beyond 12 lakhs per annum. It is clear that if a person wants to get placed, then Birla Institute of Applied Sciences is the best place for the placement of your ward.

The college has a well-reputed name, and the best part of the campus is its climate.

Placements: As the crowd is not much, the placement is easy here as compared to the other colleges. There are only 120 students in one batch. The placement co-ordinators are helpful and have good relationships with the companies. So overall, the placement of the college is good.

A curriculum and exam oriented college which would only help you do trivial things.

Placements: The placements are average. Some regular companies along with some other good companies visit the campus. However, the TPOs are changed so placement scenario would surely change for the year 2018-19. Hence it is tough to say now about the placements. TCS is regular on campus. The highest placements are through off-campus only.

Absolutely good college in limited facility reach of Bhimtal and affordable fees

Placements: The college has a good placement ratio as seen in colleges in Bhimtal. Many seniors got placed in Wipro, InfoGain, SmartData, Genesis, TCS, Bharti Airtel, HCL and many other companies this year. The average package was 4 lacs, the highest was 7.5 lacs and the lowest was 3 lacs.

All about Birla Institute Bhimtal.

Placements: In the year 2017-18, good companies came to Birla. Even now the companies are visiting like Smartprix and Directrix which offers a package more than 10 lakh per annum, and other companies like Safola, Infotech and many startup companies also visited this year which offered a package of 3-4 lpa. The placement is good in the college, approximately 80-85 percent of the students are placed every year.

Join the college. But care, you have to give a little bit more if you want placements.

Placements: In my time, there were only 2 and 3 authentic company recruitments. The main was TCS while others are either providing very low packages or are frauds. The placement cell head Mr. Nitin Chimwal focuses only on those students with whom he is in contact with. I think there is a scope of improvement in preparing the students for their communication skills. One good thing is that the college arranged courses for enhancing our aptitude skills.

A good college for average students.

Placements: Placements are quite good from the campus drive. There are generally IT/CS based companies come for recruitments. There some major companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL and AON Technologies which visited the campus. Some students got selected from the pool drive also in reputed companies like Samsung. There about to 85% students get placed since April-17. The average placement is about to 3.5 lacs this year and the highest placements of this year is 8 lacs. The internship offers are very good from Indi...

Worth spending 4 years here, but faculty disappointed most of us (almost all) studying here

Placements: About 50%-55% of students every year got placed from the institute with the average salary of around 1.8 lakhs and the highest salary of around 3 lakhs offered by TCS every placement year. TCS offers summer internships to the final-year students (EC, CS, MCA) based on their academic performance. Career Launcher, Dehradun, from the beginning of the final year, trains students in aptitude, reasoning and communication skills for interviews and other competitive exams. ...

Well to be really honest don’t expect very much from this college in terms of infrastructure, although it has the basic amenities. The atmosphere was pretty good when I passed out. The number of students was very less at that time, so everyone in the college new each other. The college was then a fully residential college. The faculty is ok. The college is situated in Bhimtal, near Nainital so you can pretty much guess that how the climate and atmosphere is, it’s awesome. Placements are also goo...

Good faculty and industry exposure but average placement in 2017.

Placements: Placement is good for students who work on themselves. More the student work over his/her skills more the chance of getting a decent placement. The average placement is 2.8 LPA but can go up to 5-6 Lacs. Some students also got placed in Samsung and other reputed companies with a decent package.
