Better to study here as BVM is name is enough in Gujarat.

Placements: There are very good chances of placement as per your technical knowledge and attitude in MNC companies like L&T, Adani, Reliance, TCS, Capgemini, and many other companies. So, it's great opportunity to study and get placed from one of India's famous college.

This college was popular, but nowadays it's not efficiently working.

Placements: The placements are not good. In other branches it is excellent, but in the mechanical branch, it is not as per expected. It is already February and only 5 or 10 people are placed out of 120. In the current year, the situation of placement is too bad.

I am satisfied with our college because of its laboratory, but not satisfied with faculty members.

Placements: Around 30% to 40% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. L&T and Patel Infrastructure visited our college for placements. They offered an assistant engineer post. About 50% of the students or more got internships. L&T and other companies offer internships here. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA only. So, I advise you not to take admission in this college.

Overall, a nice college, but read my review carefully if you want to take admission in the civil.

Placements: The placement in the college is overall good, but in my department of the civil engineering, about 60 students were placed out of 120 in 2017. The package given to the 95% the students is about Rs. 1.8 per annum. So many students were given the fidelity during the pre-placement talk that allowance would be provided to all those who got selected in the company called the Dhorajia Construction. But when they joined the company, at that time they denied to give allowance. Also, the Purnima builders...

Not very satisfied because of the basic facilities. Satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: Our placement rate is less as compared to the seniors because of the less demand of the engineers in every field. So many companies visit for placement and take the first round of test and then cancel the further interview process. Some companies recruited a few students. Maybe 40% students got placed.

Very bad faculty. Some good students, average infrastructure, below average placements.

Placements: One can get placed from this institution in TCS or in some local organizations around Anand or in Baroda or in Ahmedabad. If you are studying in electronics and telecommunication, then you have no core companies visiting the campus except Maxim Technologies. For core branches, one can rely upon L&T, Elecon. The placement starts from the month of August. If one is studying in GIA branch of the college then it's a good choice in Gujarat. The placements are not that good in overall terms. One can g...

Good placements, below average faculty, and average infrastructure.

Placements: Opportunities of getting placed in good and notable companies are better and higher than most other engineering colleges in Gujarat in BVM engineering college. It definitely comes in the top 5 colleges if we're just talking about placements. As BVM engineering college is 60+ years old, it has a good reputation among the companies. Companies like L&T Powai, L&T construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Havells, TCS, Reliance, Adani, Infochip, Torrent power, Capgemini, Supergas, Electrotherm, iGate and o...

Old and experienced faculty who have good teaching skills. But not good campus, very old infrastructure, occupy very low area. Lots of companies are coming for recruitment selecting appropriate skilled student for job. Small and old library, Wi-Fi available but always out of range having low speed.

Nice college, people are very nice and the faculty is also very nice and active. Very good at teaching any subject, they help the student anytime, anywhere, you can say ever ready and they take extra lectures for completing the syllabus in each subject.

Very old college but good as far as education is concerned but knowledge level of some professors is a matter of concern. Some rigid rules by HODs which are not appreciable. Improvement required in terms of placements. Hold on alumni is pretty low which is affecting placement activities, should have some strong mechanism which can improve contacts with alumni. Campus is good with awesome culture. Enough lab instruments are there but not all in working condition. Improvement required in Wi-Fi con...

It is the oldest engineering college in Gujarat and thus with experience it has polished itself very well. Being that old, the teachers are experienced and masters. Also it is in one of the most beautiful cities in Gujarat. For students it is Jannat !

Our college offers a good studying environment.

Placements: Core electronics companies like Aimtron and eInfochips visit our college and offer a salary not more than 3 LPA. Other companies like TCS, LNT and Infosys visit for placements and offer an average salary package of 6 LPA. None of the companies offers a summer internship for students.
