Overall placement scenario was average but faculty and course structure is good.

Placements: Placements are above average. Placement percent in our college is nearly 35-45%. Many MNC companies also come for placement drive. College also call many good local companies. They also provide details of some off campus drives. Here placement team works their level best and they are really supportive.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Many companies are vising the campus but among them very few are MNCs. Mostly local companies with very low package average 2 lacks had visited the campus this year. This year placement record was very poor compare to last year. Hope more MNCs will visit the campus for better future of the student.

A Good college with experienced teachers.

Placements: Placements is decent enough in BVM. In 2018 around 40+ were placed out of 150 including Diploma students also. Previously around 60+ placements were done in B.E Mech & Postgraduate Mech. Talking about companies coming in the college for placements include some core companies like Reliance, L&T, Sanmar, Hi-Fab, Path Electrical, Hitachi, TBEA, Mahindra, KHS Machinery, Aashi Glass, Freight Wings, Alpha Marine & Euro- Gears. And some non tech companies like Shri ram Transport Finance, E-procurement,...

Once a BVMite, always a BVMite.

Placements: Since its commencement, well-known companies have been connected with BVM to select fresh brains. The companies like L&T, Reliance, TCS, etc., visit the campus for placements. A few startups also visit the campus to hire the students. Overall, the college has average placements, but well-known companies will keep on visiting the campus.

Above avg for teachers, infrastructure, placements and all.

Placements: Very nice. Still not upto the mark. Many deserving candidates are left. There were many companies coming but not much interested in campus as they found more deserving candidates from other college. The efforts from team seems good but not evident to students.

Satisfied. Good academics provided. Average placements. Poor sports and extra curricular activities.

Placements: Placements when I started in 2014 where really good. L&T GSFC RELIANCE LINDE like big visited the campus for placement drive. Nearly 50% of mechanical batch was placed But gradually the placements have come down. Core mechanical companies visiting is rare. During our majority of the company visited where non- technical.

Despite having a good reputation, the students at the college speak differently.

Placements: Placements in our branch in this particular year are pathetic as the demand for mechanical engineers in the market also decreased this year. Only 20-25% of our batch students got placed on-campus. The placement cell in our college is effective and approachable, but still, it is good compared to other colleges.

I would rate 3/5 for production engineering as there are better colleges in India.

Placements: The placements for my department is not that great. We are always clubbed with the companies coming for mechanical engineers after a lot of requests, and even after performing well, we do not get a chance in the final rounds as the company never intends to take production engineers.

Overall it was good from learning point of view.

Placements: Moderate placements. 80/140 in Mechanical got placed in different core companies like L&T, GSFC, GNFC, Adani, Line, Reliance etc. for consecutive years. Maximum CTC was about 12 LPA (after 3 year). Most of the interested students willing for internship got their desired fields so no issues in that.

Good placement in year 2016.

Placements: Major companies like L&T, LTI, TCS, ADANI, L&T construction etc. Visit here for placement drives. The average salary is approximately 2.5lpa. The roles offered to the students are basically graduate trainee. Once the training is complete the role changes to engineering.

Experienced professors but poor infra and management.

Placements: Quite nice. I can rate it 3.5/5. Last year, 3.5LPA was the average package. And in case of numbers almost 62% got placed. The highest salary offered 9LPA in off campus placements. The lowest package may be 1.2LPA. Placement is second best after LD engineering college among all government colleges in Gujarat.

Life in BVM Civil Department.

Placements: Placements are good, considering the fact that this is a very prestigious and old college established since 1948, I believe it should have a lot higher placement. Overall placement for all other departments is quite good, but for civil I think it's not up to the mark.

BVM is an autonomous institution.

Placements: The college has good campus placement with good packages. Many big companies like L&T, Infosys, TCS, TBEA, etc., visit the campus for job selection. Different percentage of students were placed from different fields. Most of the placements are for computer science and IT engineering department.

Bvm is a good college. It has a good atmosphere of studies having an average infrastructure.

Placements: About 30 to 40 companies visit every year in BVM. TCS is the company which hires the major number of students. In my batch, almost 40-45 students from 60 students already placed in different companies and got an average package of around 3.5 LPA. TCS, L&T, Capgemini, Einfochips are the companies which hire most of the students from campus placements. The roles they offer were related to IT and EC. The college provides the internship, but the percentage is quite low.

Best placement for circuit branches, but unsatisfied placements in the core branches of engineering.

Placements: This year placements were unsatisfied. Less number of students have got placed, and most of them are yet looking to be placed. The companies visited our campus were RKC, Patel infrastructure, Tata engineer, L and T, HFFC, etc. The average package is 2 LPA. None of the students have got the internship from college.

College lacks in technical excellence on national map. Everything else is fine.

Placements: Placements of seniors have been quite well. Since the last two years, 40-45 students are placed among the 55-60 eligible ones in my branch. Overall, the placement varies from 270-330. Many big companies like L&T, ABB, TCS, IBM, Infosys, Reliance, GNFC, Torrent Power, Adani, Maxim Integrated and much more visit the campus.

Campus has peaceful environment which helps us develop in study as well as become a leader.

Placements: Placement season gets started in September and lasts upto April during which companies keeps visiting oncampus and pool campus. Placement Coordinator are students from our class only and so they gives their best to get you placed as they are your classmates at last. Average salary offered by civil companies is 2.4 CTC. In 2017 near about 350 students got placed and in 2018 250+ students are placed upto March.

Placements: Many companies visited the college to recruit students. Pretty good number of students got placed. Companies like TCS, Infochips, L&T, Evosys, Simform, Streebo HFFC, etc., visited the campus. Approximately, 50% of the students got placed on the campus. The highest package offered was Rs. 9 LPA and the lowest was Rs. 1.8 LPA. There is a placement cell, and it is quite efficient.

It is a good college if you want to join, but the placement is degrading.

Placements: This year, the placement is too poor compared to last year. Hardly, 18 to 20 students of mechanical branch got placed on the college campus. The companies visited the college includes L&T, Reliance, Supergas, Yazaki, TBEA, Hitachi, etc. The highest package offered is nearly 5.5 LPA by Reliance. During the last period of even semester, many finance companies have visited the campus. If we talk about the internship, then the numbers will be too less.

From my opinion Absolutely Good because of good response from all staff and non-staff and good placm

Placements: Our college placement in 2015-16 is 363 out of 800. Average package offered by companies is about 3.12 Lacs per annum. The highest package offered ?5.67 LPA by Reliance industries in Mechanical engineering for undergraduate students. Total 55 companies visited our campus last year. General Graduate Engineering tarinee role is offered by giant companies to our college undergraduate students.
