Review of BMS College of Engineering.

Placements: Placements are good, and they are better than most of the NITs and GFTIs. Average package offered was about 6.2 LPA which is the best you'll get in Bangalore. Every day, a new company visits the college. Hyundai, Mercedes, Intel, Microsoft, Volvo, are seen in the college premises. Mass recruiters also visit the college.

The college life is absolutely lovable.

Placements: I'm currently in my 4th semester. We've only heard from our seniors that placements and placement training sessions will begin from the 6th semester. I heard a lot about the quality of placement opportunities offered here. I can't wait to be a part of the internship programme that is conducted the next year.

The average salary package offered was around 4 LPA to 5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 12 LPA in the computer science department. Companies like TCS, IBM, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Seagate, Deloitte, etc., visited the college for recruitment. Review of BMS College of Engineering.

Placements: Placements in our college are good for most of the branches except mechanical, civil and industrial branches. The IT placements are good as always, and students in related branches as well as electronics won't face any problem in this regard. I'm still in my 2nd year, so I have no idea about the quality of the placement cell.

A decent college to pursue engineering.

Placements: Our seniors were placed in respectable multinational companies. CS and IS branches have 100% placement percentage which is the highest. Other branches have low placement percentages. Many companies offered packages ranging from 20 LPA to 30 LPA, but a majority of the packages offered were less than 10 LPA. The placement cell does a good job in that regard. Internships are offered only to the 3rd year students by the placement cell but are rare.

Students can have a good college experience in BMSCE.

Placements: As Bangalore is an IT hub, one can think of being placed in IT companies than core companies. But, it does not mean that the core companies won't recruit the students from our college. It completely depends on the student's calibre. A very few students get placed in core companies.

Good placements for those who want to go to IT industry, but you have to learn by yourself.

Placements: Placements are good for CS and IT branches of our college, but only a few core companies visit the campus for placements. More than 90% of students in EC, CS IS, and EEE are placed in IT companies. Most of the jobs offered are IT jobs. There is BMSCE placement cell which helps us in getting placed.

Overall, BMS College is a good engineering college and is one of the top colleges in Karnataka.

Placements: Placements in the college are fantastic. The placed students get the minimum salary package of 4 LPA, and the maximum was up to 1 crore per annum. Many companies like Amazon, Flipkart, BHEL, TCS, and Accenture visit our college for placements. Most of the companies that visit the campus expect the students with minimum coding skills and CGPA above 8.5. BMS gives a good college life.

Placements: As Bangalore is an IT hub one can think of being placed in IT companies when compared to the core companies which doesn't mean core companies won't take students. It completely depends on the student caliber. In core branches like mechanical and civil very less students get placed in core companies like bosch, Mercedes benz, toyota. Coming to the packages again CSE, ISE, ECE students dominate other branch students with average package of 6-10lac and the lowest being 3.5 lac.

Satisfied with the college because of the placements and facilities.

Placements: Placements in the college were decent for my batch. The average salary package wasn't that great, but it was okay, the figure is around 4 LPA. Few branches like mechanical, chemical and instrumentation, faced problems as very few core companies visit the campus for them. Placements were good for all the other branches.

Placements: BMS College of Engineering is known for its huge campus, and it's teaching faculty, due to which it attracts high-end companies offering tremendous job offers to students. It is an autonomous college, and the percentage of students getting placed each year is above 95%. The lowest salary offered has been 4 lacs per annum, and the highest was 40 lacs per annum. My wonderful four-year journey at BMS.

Placements: The placements were better than most of the colleges in the area. Companies like TCS, Texas Instruments, JP Morgan Chase, Nokia, Practo, Phillips, Seagate, etc. Came during my final year and recruited a hefty number of students. Students were allowed to have more two offers and not more than that. But given the number and quality of companies, students were happy with the placement process and output. Many students had two offers. The placements happened on a rolling basis throughout the year an...

Satisfied with all things, Placements was not so good in 2018.

Placements: Placements is good for other branches. But civil we will get only 2 or 3 companies. Hence civil will get low placements then other branches. The placement office is good. They try hard to get the companies for the placements. They are well versed and experienced.

Placements: Placements in mechanical engineering were around 82%. It is low because many of the students go for higher studies. Very few students were placed in core companies. The highest package offered for mechanical students was 14 LPA, whereas the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Many core companies like Mercedes Benz offered internships to the students. Overall, the placements for the mechanical branch is above average as compared to other colleges.
