The college is amazing with an amazing brand name but still a long way to go.

Placements: The placements are good as far as computer science and electronics and communication are concerned. Almost, everyone from my batch got placed. The highest package offered, if I remember correctly was 19 LPA. But then only 5 to 6 students got such offers. The placements are bad as far as the department such as biotech is concerned. They usually end up in the companies like TCS.

Good learning experience with fun and develop your knowledge.

Placements: Most of the students get placed, and the package offered is average as fresher's. The placements start in 3rd semester. The marketing students get more opportunities in the placement as many companies turn up for the marketing specialisation students in internal and external sales.

The best you can get in bangalore.

Placements: The college offers the best placements in the Bangalore city. Every year, more than 100 companies visit our college. There is the best industry exposure for engineering students. The average package is around five lakhs per annum. ECE, CSE and IS branches have the best placement compare to the other branches. The placement in the college is better than any other college in Bangalore.

You can achieve what you want to achieve

Placements: The placement is very good here and so is the competition. One can expect at least 12 companies above 10 lpa. For computer science, the average CTC is around 6 LPA. For CS and IS, the placement percentage is above 90%. There are many mass recruiters who visit BMS campus. The highest package offered till date is 28 LPA by Nutanix.

Excellent placement records in 2016 and 17 (only for CS/IS )

Placements: Placements are at a boom for CSE/ISE students. Around 160+ companies visit every year to provide placement and internship opportunities. This time, the highest CTC was 28 LPA offered by Directi. Even companies like Goldman Sachs, Endurance and Nutanix pay above 20 LPA. But the majority of CS/IS students get placed between the salary range of 5 LPA to 10 LPA.

Great crowd, good campus, in the centre of Bangalore with great facilities.

Placements: There are great offers and students are most likely to get placed at the end of the course in reputed companies. The average salary would be around 3 lakhs per annum. Companies come for various job roles but mostly prefer students from computer science and engineering, information science and electronics and communication departments.

BMS College of Engineering is my all time favourite.

Placements: The placements in our college are extraordinary. Many multinational companies like Robert Bosch, Wipro, L&T, Adobe, Accenture, Infosys and many more companies visit us every year and hire nearly 75-90% of the students. They pay an average package of 5-7 lakhs per annum.

Satisfied with the college rules, faculty, infrastructure. The college is autonomous under VTU.

Placements: Many companies visit the college. Since BMS is one of the reputed colleges, the big companies come to the campus. My bad luck was that I had SSLC score of less than 60 so I didn't get placed. I suggest the people who take admission to get 60% from 10th, 12th or diploma so that they can get more opportunities to attend the companies. But those who have less than 60%, they will suffer just like I am. The placement people are not friendly. The students have to take care of themselves while preparin...

Decent college with good facilities.

Placements: Placements for my batch and my senior batch were pretty average and not very good. Around 85-105 people out of 160 got placed in my batch in various sectors. More than 50% were placed in IT Companies. Highest salary was for ABB - 5.5 LPA and the lowest was 2.4 LPA for a local turbine manufacturing company. The average package was 3.5 LPA. Very few mechanical core companies visited during my batch which included Tata Technologies, MuSigma, ELGI, Toyota, CISCO, TCS, Mercedes, etc. Roles offered in...

Oldest private engineering college in India and the best engineering college in Bangalore.

Placements: Placements were decent in the previous year. About 70% people got placed. The highest salary was 20 LPA. The average salary was around 5 LPA. Lowest salary was 2.5 LPA. Companies that recruited include Accenture, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Caterpillar, Mercedes Benz, Toyota, and many others. Some students got offers from the companies they did internships in.

An overall package consisting of good curriculum and extracurricular.

Placements: Being one of the most elite private colleges in the country, it attracts many top companies such as Microsoft, Amadeus, Cisco, etc. Placement percentages are in the high eighties and most students get at least one offer. If you're in the computer science cluster you'll be placed for sure. The average salary in our department is around 7-8 LPA and the roles offered varied from software engineers to consultancies.

Very satisfied with faculty, good placement activities, good infrastructure.

Placements: It's a good college for getting placed and weekly 5 to 6 companies approach with good packages. The students get placed in companies like Toyota, Mercedes, J P Morgon etc. at higher packages. This college offers 90% placement. Pre-placement training is provided by the college, which helps the students in getting placed at higher packages.

Entry-level roles offered for software development. I do not have much information regarding internships.

This is the second best college of COMEDK. Being an autonomous college, the course structure and exams are decided by the college itself. Infrastructure- classroom, library, auditorium are well built but the campus lacks a playground. Hostel- some hostels are inside the campus while some are outside the campus. The hostel rooms and facilities are good. Mess- those who reside outside in a rented accommodation/PG can also opt for college mess, which is quite good. The menu changes every mo...

The college infrastructure and reputation is one of the oldest institutes in Bangalore and this is its major plus point. The college has a robust research program with well-equipped laboratories. The faculty has good and relevant teaching with industry experience. The pedagogy of teaching is traditional and is suited for those who prefer it the same way. The college life and the atmosphere are dynamic with lots of activities both cultural and sports encouraged. The college fest Utsav is one of t...

The college location is awesome. You will find a lot of greenery and silence you get from a hilly station. ECE course is one of the toughest and challenging courses to be done from this college. The faculty is good for those who are good at academics and poor for those who are not. If we talk about other facilities such as sports or any extra-curricular activities, they are not much.

It is one of the top colleges of Karnataka for engineering. The teachers in this college are highly qualified and the college provides all types of machinery for learning. The lecturers are interesting and interactive. It follows a grading system in which internal exams and external exams are added equally. The placements at this college are always above 90% with an average package of 6-7 lakhs.

The campus life is good, but the teaching is not up to mark as per its brand name. Faculty members are average. The college environment and its beauty definitely deserve appreciation. The curriculum of this autonomous college is not good in comparison to that of top colleges.

BMS College of Engineering is the second oldest private college offering technical education in the state of Karnataka. The college has lived up to its 70 year legacy and is constantly being updated with the latest technology. The latest feature in its hat would be the accreditation by NBA according to the Washington Accord (some departments have been accredited while others are in the process of getting the accreditation). The college offers a lot of opportunities to excel in extracurricular ac...

Overall, BMSCE is a great place to study at. Though the teaching quality can be improved, the placement and extracurricular opportunities easily make up for it. Every year, the placements get better and the highest packages go up to 11-12 lakhs per annum, which is a good amount for a fresher to start off with. You will find a lot of diverse cultures with students from all around India along with international students from Oman, Muscat, Nepal, etc. The canteens are good, though the playgrounds...
