A good college in comparison with the equivalent competitor colleges, in all aspects.

Placements: The placement is average for telecommunications, mechanical and civil department, but for other departments, it is good. All students get a fair chance at the placement activity. There is also pre-placement training sessions. Various companies like Amazon, Nokia, Wipro, Ericson, Capgemini, Cognizant, Mindtree, Endurance, Fidelity, etc. visit the campus offering packages ranging from 3.5 LPA-21 LPA.

If you are really a top rank student, strictly this college is not for you.

Placements: The placements are not as expected. Only the engineering courses will have the best possible placements. It depends on you if you have maintained good performance, only then you can get through. Otherwise, the placement is impossible. If you are a topper, please don't choose this college. If you join this, you have to regret.

BMSIT is a place to learn and grow.

Placements: The placements on the campus are awesome. The people get cheered for a minimum of 7 lacs per annum. Almost all the major companies visit with a maximum package of 19 lacs per annum and an average of 5 lacs per annum. Nokia has hired three students with the maximum package of 19 lacs per annum.

Satisfied with my college. Good at ragging free environment and placements.

Placements: The placements in my college are really awesome as you must be aware it got A grade from NAAC committee. They had considered all things after that they provided A grade to this college. Coming to placement review, it's really good here. This year people got selected on Amazon, Dell, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and many more. Recently, a boy got selected in Microsoft. Students here are really improving themselves to stand in cutthroat competition going on. Overall, the placement is ...

The branch matters the most if you join this college. Placements shouldn't be the prime focus.

Placements: The placements in our college are not as we thought before joining. Only IT branch students get placed. Very few recruiters turn up for our college. The placements in EEE are very disappointing. The placements should not be the sole objective if you want to join this college.

Totally it is a good college where we can learn a lot of things.

Placements: For placements in BMSIT, they will train students after the 5th semester. During the holidays of the 5th semester, they will give training for about 15-20 days span. It will be continued after 6th-semester exams. The companies will start visiting the college in the starting of 7th semester till the end of the academic year. MNC companies will visit, and they will recruit as a software developer. Core companies will visit less when compared to software companies. ...

The BMS Institute of Technology and Management is good for ECE and CSE with a good placement.

Placements: This year the placement is down in BMSIT. The placements department mainly focuses on getting everyone placed, so you can't have more than 2 offers in hand. A lot of companies visit this college, and on an average, the offer is around Rs. 4 LPA. Overall, the placed students percentage is around 75%.

BMS Institute of Technology

Placements: We got many IT companies (mass recruiter) like Cognizant, Accenture, HCL, Emphasis, etc. Most of the students got placed in some mass recruiter IT companies. We had a chance to hold two offers in hand. Everybody had one IT company's offer and trying for core company. Core companies for mechanical were very less, still, we had a chance to attend safarn engineering.

Good place to study and spend our 4 years of engineering life.

Placements: The placement is very good, and almost 95% students got placed within the graduation. The good companies come for the job recruitment, and also, the pool campus placement in main branch BMS college of engineering. The placement cell faculty members are good and helpful.

BMSIT- A platform to learn, a place to grow

Placements: The placements here have increased a lot as it counts among the top colleges at Bangalore. Situated at a stone's throw from various tech parks, almost all the companies visit here every year, Nokia, Amazon, KPIT, etc. to name a few. Placements here go at an average of 5 LPA with highest of 19 LPA from this department. Since I have joined, the placement percentage is 92-93% almost every year.

One of the best colleges in Bangalore

Placements: There is a very active placement cell and core companies regularly keep visiting the college every year. I am from the civil background and till date, the core companies which have visited the college are Ultratech, ACC, Brigade, Sriram Properties, etc. Only one year has passed out for civil and except for students opting for higher studies, the department has secured 100% placement for this batch.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placement in 2016 and really good infrastructure

Placements: All the students who opted for campus placements, obtained a job in top companies with good benefits. I would highly recommend everyone to join. The HOD ensures that everyone gets a good job and that no one is left out. Also, the most number of placements is held which helps the students in the actual placement.

The best college, the 4 important years of life.

Placements: The college offers good placements indeed, but one needs to work hard. There are opportunities in core companies as well, but not good like IT. The placements are held throughout the 4th year. The IS and CS people will be placed if they give a little bit of effort, and ECE students have opportunities with both core companies as well as IT giants. For me, the best stream for placement here is ECE. Mechanical and civil placements are not good. It solely depends on the student. EEE placements are a...

I am absolutely satisfied. It is worth the money college. It had good placements in last few years.

Placements: The placements are really good here, especially in the computer science, electronics and communication, and information science departments. This year, half of the students got placed in the pre-placement offers. 5 people got selected for Amazon at the package of 12.5 Lakhs per annum. 3 students got the offer of above 15 lpa from various companies.

Best in and around Yelahanka.

Placements: The placements are good. I've seen companies like Wipro coming to the college for placements. The placement training here is awesome. The very first year itself, you'll have placement training where people from reputed companies train you on personality development, communication skills and much more. On top of this, you can attend placements from BMSCE as well.

BMSIT is the best college I chose.

Placements: We probably have 90 to 95% of placements. But due to the fall in IT companies, this time, it is reduced to some 80%. The best placement department supports the students of all departments. They give us placement training. Lots of information has been given to us before getting into placements.

Good faculty, infrastructure, and placements.

Placements: In my class, almost everyone who had above 60% average got placed though not necessarily in a core company. The highest package this year, I believe, was around 19 LPA. I must really appreciate the placement cell in this regard because it took great personal care in seeing that the students got placed. They regularly used to select students whom they used to send to BMSCE so that we may gain additional offers. I believe it's not really tough to get placed in this college. On a negative, this yea...

Overall, a good college to take admission in. If you want to get a job, it is a really good college.

Placements: Overall, the placement is good. Approximately 90% placement for CS, IS, and electronic branch. Placement is not god for mechanical, civil and electrical branches. Cognizant, Wipro, and Capgemini are the mass recruiters. Very few core companies visit for mechanical and electrical branches. Placement training given by the college is not good.

Absolutely satisfied with the college and the faculty.

Placements: Placements were very good as many top companies came for campaigning like TCS, Yahoo, Cognizant, Wipro, Ericsson, and many more. Students were given placement training and personality development training. Most of the students got placed and many of them joined internships in PSUs and other companies.

Overall, the college is good but it has to work on the faculty who are freshers.

Placements: The placements for our batch were pretty good. Out of 160 students, almost 90% pf eligible students were placed. The highest package offered was 12 lakhs, the lowest was 2.8 lakhs and the average package was 3.5 lakhs. Some companies which visited our campus were Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, I-Gate, Capgemini, Deloitte, Aricent and much more. Most of us were offered with IT roles, i.e. roles of developers and production analysts. There was no internship program in our college and I feel we should have...
