Q: ย  Is MBA at BN College of Engineering and Technology better than Rameshwaram Institute of Technology and Management?

A:

If you are getting admission in BN College than it's better option than RITM because in same fees range they have better college campus, better placement opportunities and also due to less number of offered seats students have to face less competition during thier college placements and internship opportunities. A proper information of my college.
Placements: 30%-40% of students have been placed in my branch, Computer Science and Engineering. The average package of my course is 3 to 5 Lacs per year. There are very few companies that come to college. Maximum students are placed off campus and by giving interviews in companies.
Infrastructure: The facility is good. The classrooms have a capacity of 100 students. There is no Wi-Fi for students, and the library is not used by students because the faculty is not allowed to sit and read in the library. The quality of the mess meal is very bad; it is too oily food, but the rooms of the hostel are good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful at all times, and they are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality of faculty is very good. They always solve the problems of students. But there is a problem with faculty: they only focus on bookish knowledge and don't focus on practical knowledge.
Other: I chose this course because my branch is verified by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

BN college of engineering is one of the best colleges for B.Tech students.
Placements: Approximately 80 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 14-16 LPA, the average package is 10-11 LPA, and the lowest package is 3-5 LPA. 70 percent of students got an internship in the final year, and some students got the internship in the 3rd year also. Top roles are offered in computer science.
Infrastructure: Hostel faculty are very good in nature, have polite behavior, and listen to everyone's problems. And Wi-Fi is available every time. Classrooms and libraries are the proper way; classes are clean, and libraries are full of all equipment. Sports activities and food are good in the hostel.
Faculty: Teaching quality is very nice and focused on every student. The curriculum is very good for placement in industries. Pass percentage of students is 85 percent. Students are passed. The reason is to focus on weak students, and they provide extra classes and other guidance on how to pass the exam.
Other: As per interest in technology, that's the reason I chose this course, B.Tech. computer science, and the best thing in this country is to learn new technology. I wish it would be better to be focused on practicals more, not theory only.

The library has an old book and classrooms are good for studies .There are not good facilities in the hostel. The food is not good for health. The mess is not good for the hostel. Medical facilities are provided .
Faculty: They are well qualified, helping in nature and very knowledgeable. Teaching quality is the best in the college only for the syllabus. The courses are relevant to the subjects. Take admission at your own risk.
Placements: There is no placement here. In this college, they only focus on your theory subject. There are no skills developed here, so the company will not accept you because you do not have any types of skills. The college does not focus on improving your skills and only forces you to remember the subject.
Infrastructure: In the CSE lab, broken computers, keyboards, and CPUs are available that do not work properly and also have no proper network connection. The hostel food schedule is not good. And the room is of medium quality; two students are allowed in the room. And Wi-Fi is available only for formality; Wi-Fi does not work, and 2G net is working in Wi-Fi.
Faculty: The faculty are good and also have good knowledge of the subject, but the faculty only focus on the subject and not on your communication skills, coding skills, or any other types of skills. They have forced you to remember the subject and pass the exam, and the faculty does not give you a practical example of the subject.
Other: Take admission at your own risk because in this college, there is no focus on your skills, only on your subject, and you are forced to remember the subject and pass the exam. There is no placement here.

Q: ย  Is B.E. / B.Tech at BNCET Lucknow worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at BNCET Lucknow Worth the Investment?

Based on reviews and comments from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is limited, with old buildings and insufficient space. However, there are plans to improve the facilities.

* "The infrastructure of our college is not up to the mark." (Student)
* "We have limited space, and the college is trying to improve the infrastructure." (Alumni)

Placement Record: Unfortunately, the college's placement record is poor, with only a handful of students getting placed each year. Most students opt for self-placement.

* "Only 20% to 30% of the students get placed from college." (Student)
* "They just bring job consultancies, and only a few students get placed." (Alumni)

Teaching Quality: While the professors are knowledgeable, the teaching style is traditional, and students often complain about a lack of hands-on training and practical exposure.

* "Faculty were good at their teaching, but they just teach for the namesake." (Student)
* "Teachers explain the concepts well, but we didn't get much practical exposure." (Alumni)

Campus Life: Campus life is limited, with few extracurricular activities and a restrictive environment.

* "Games were played only during the events, and we didn't have much freedom." (Student)
* "Hostel life was not good, and we felt restricted." (Alumni)

Scholarship Opportunities: The college offers scholarships, but the process is unclear, and students may need to apply separately.

* "UP government provides scholarships of amount Rs 56,000 per year." (Student)

Considering these factors, it seems that investing in a BE/BTech degree at BNCET Lucknow might not be the best option. While the college has potential, the poor placement record, outdated infrastructure, and limited campus life might outweigh the benefits. Students may consider exploring other colleges with stronger reputations and more robust infrastructures.

Keep in mind that individual experiences may vary, and this assessment is based on aggregated reviews and comments. It's essential to weigh pros and cons carefully before making a decision.
