Worst college and administration in suburban Kolkata. They still didn't return my caution money.

Placements: The college provides zero placements. Nobody got placed in the on-campus placements. The college invited some KPOs and BPOs and didn't try to invite any product based company. Some companies were fake, and some were under civil court and consumer court. TPO was the worst, and there were no personality development classes conducted. The management was always busy in making money, and they took Rs. 5,000 extra for placement but it was of no use.

Being in a pool of disappointment, I have found my niche in a startup but not in academics.

Placements: More than 80% of students got placed, but not through the college placements. They got placed through pool campus placements which were held in different colleges and students were invited for the interview rounds. The college managed to bring BPOs from the local area, and no student was interested to even attend the interview. There was no scene of internships as it was not compulsory in the 3rd year.

It is a place where you get good knowledge from the teachers.

Placements: The placements were pretty good for our batch as well as for our senior batch. Approximately, 65% of the students got placed. The highest salary paid by the companies was Rs. 35,000 per month and the lowest salary was Rs. 12,000 per month. Tech Mahindra, Sanmar, and TCG companies visited our campus. The roles offered by the companies to the students were pretty subject oriented.

Overall, our college was good for education but not for placements.

Placements: In the year 2014, a BPO company visited (I don't remember the name) and recruited the students. But, the number is very low with respect to our batch strength. Then after, no single company came to offer jobs. That is the fault of our TPO. We were sent to some pool campusing in other colleges, but there, we faced tough competition.

Review of Camellia Institute Of Technology.

Placements: Placements for our batch and senior batches were good as around 60-65% of the students got placed. The highest salary package of 5.5LPA and the lowest salary package of 2.5 LPA are offered in our college. Tech Mahindra, L&T, TCS, Bhusan Steel, etc., visit our college for placements. The role offered to the students as a trainee.

Review about Camellia Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placement scenario of any college in West Bengal is bad, except IIT KGP, JU, IIEST, NIT DGP. Although the placements in CS are very less and in core branches, there are negative placements. Earlier in 2014, in the pass out batch, out of 80 students from mechanical, 2 students got placed.

More or less, nowadays, every engineering college is in the same position.

Placements: The placements are not much good. Actually, The core students can't find a job related to their stream. You can get placed in any IT company. The companies offer a little package. Most of the companies coming here are of IT sector. For civil, electrical and mechanical steams, no core company comes to the college.

Totally dissatisfied of our college infrastructure and placements in 2018.

Placements: It has medium placements. We are really happy for our college that they are trying to do something for us. But sometimes the companies which has come, become fake. Last year our college has 70% of placements but this year it didn't cross 20%. It's just going down.

It's average college, student can take admission if the student has nack of self study.

Placements: It has most of the target to place in mnc's through pull campusing, in our batch some good students got placed in Amazon India, Tech mahindra with good gross annual package. Some companies like apsara infotech, Wipro came and had some placements across the students who could participate in the drive. Our senior batch had a placement of similar kind except few core students placed.

Very good faculty, fair placements, but not good enough infrastructure.

Placements: The placement was fair, but not up to the mark yet. Some companies came like Maven, Go Speedy Go, Kovair Software, etc. But, there wasn't any mass recruitment like TCS, IBM, Tech Mahindra does every year, so very few students got placed. I hope more companies will come this year.

Camellia Institute of Technology review from pass out batch student in the year 2014.

Placements: The college is not that much good in the placements like other renowned private colleges since I was there. They bring some small companies like Genpact, Tech Mahindra, etc., to the campus, but they give you much more information about off-campus in big companies like TCS, CTS, Accenture, etc., or give some aptitude examination from where you can directly apply for an interview. It's very good actually.

Pursuing higher education(MBA) after completing B.Tech with guidance from the faculty at CIT.

Placements: There are the placements in the companies with the low package that is around 10K to 15 K per month in Kolkata and 20K to 25K per month in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, etc. Wipro, BPS, TCS, CTS, Tech Mahindra, Genpact, and small IT companies visit for campusing. The rating of campusing for 2015 batch was poor. The average package was around 12K to 13K per month. The frequent strikes were common due to lack of the job opportunities from the campus placements. Due to lack of good job roles, many...

That's all the facts about CIT, Madhyamgram.

Placements: Our batch didn't get any placement opportunity in any core company through college. 2-3 students got a job in Amazon with 3 LPA package. Rest of all didn't get the job. This is the story of major private engineering colleges. All are waiting to get a chance in any company through GATE, IES or any other competitive exams.

A great college that gives everyone a good chance to prove them.

Placements: The students are having skills to get placed in great companies like Tata, Wipro with good salary packages. The placement is great in this college and salary packages they got are also good. They give a chance to everyone to show their skills. Many students of this institution have been placed in good companies.

As an engineering student, I am proud to say that my college fulfils my wishes.

Placements: 10 companies like Amazon, Wipro, Jain group, etc. came to our college. Good placements record in the previous year. The highest salary that was offered to 4 students was 4.15 lacs/year. Most companies offered posts of a trainee engineer or tech support or business development executive. 20% of the students got an internship from the college. 4k was the highest stipend offered during internship.

By joining here, don't make your life waste.

Placements: Only 1% pupil got placement from the mechanical department by pool campus organised by our college. While a total number of the students from all departments got placed was little better. Only 3 core field company came (pool campus), and 12 IT company came (pool campus) visited our college. The highest salary offered was 3.6 LPA, the lowest salary offered was 1 LPA, and the average salary offered was 1.8 LPA.

Average college with average facilities.

Placements: The placements at our time were not that great. Very few companies visited out college and the ones which came were offering mostly KPO roles. A fecent training and placement assistance was provided. Different learning sessions were carried out and they used to carry out the sessions very frequently in the fourth year.

Rising college In West Bengal.

Placements: Placements in the senior batch were good. Recently, several CSE & ECE students were placed in good companies. Core companies also come to the college. About 48% students were placed recently. Earlier batch students are now working in good companies such as TCS, IBM, CTS, etc.

Do not spoil your life here. The management of this college is here only to make profit.

Placements: Only 3 pupils from our department have been placed out of 53, and that was through pool campusing. No internship facilities are available. Even in the case of summer or winter training session, you have to manage them by your own.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of less labs.

Placements: In my college, there were very less placements for core branch students. Only one person in my batch got a good job in Triveni Turbines. Some students (3 or 4) got a job in the sales department while the rest were still jobless including me. Some were looking for private jobs while some were preparing for government jobs. But nowadays, everyone knows about the bad condition of core sector jobs.
