I am happy that I have taken the admission in this college.

Placements: The placements offered are pretty good. This year, the highest package offered was 9 lacs per annum offered by BYJU'S. The companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and a few local companies visit this college. The mass recruitment is from TCS in this college. The placement cell is there.

Best days of life I ever had. One cannot forget the evenings and friends in the hostel.

Placements: 150 students are placed in our batch. The recruitment percentage in the previous year was quite high. In our batch, less than 40% students got placed. It was quite a stagnant situation, and our TPO was not up to the mark. He was not able to bring companies to us due to some communication problem or misbehaviour. Our director was not eager to bring companies. But, he was not able to communicate with the students as he emphasized his thoughts on the students.

I suggest to join the college. If you can work hard for four years, then your future will be safe.

Placements: Good placement facilities are provided for the students. TCS, Infosys and Tech Mahindra comes for online placement and hire the bulk of students. TPO is very good in sharing the knowledge about placements, and most of the people get placed here in this college.

The faculty are good and need to improve placements for core departments.

Placements: The placement is good for the IT students. Mainly software company visit in the college like TCS, Infosys and Tech Mahindra. No core companies visit in the college, so core students have to work hard to get the job, or they sit in software companies only.

A good college- one must come here. For electrical engineering, I would request you to join here.

Placements: A nice and helpful placement cell. Many students get a job in MNCs every year. After completion of the degree, the college's technical placement officer creates arrangements for placement. Pool campusing is also held for the students. To get a placement, you must keep in touch with the TPO cell.

Moderate infrastructure and facilities and good faculty. It has good placements in previous years.

Placements: The placement scenario for this year is not good. Till now 60-65 students have been placed out of 320 students. TCS, Genpact, Aerodac has visited the campus for students of all departments. Pool campusing was arranged in other colleges. Some of the students are placed there in companies like Regalix, Infosys, Learn and grow Pvt Ltd, etc. The highest CTC offered was 9 lacs per annum given by Learn and grow Pvt limited to 2 students of this college. However the placement scenario of previous years...

I am quite satisfied with the faculty. Placement conditions at par. Infrastructure is really good.

Placements: The placement scenario in West Bengal is very poor nowadays. Despite such problems, the placement scenario is better in our college than many others. In the batch of 2014-18, almost 290 students are there comprising of 6 branches. And out of those candidates, 50 have got jobs on and off-campus until November 20th, 2017. We hope much more will get jobs by the end of their course. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Genpact, Regalix, Byju's learning app, etc., have made on-campus and off-campus (pool cam...

Value for money. Good for middle-class students

Placements: The placement of our batch was 80% and for our senior batch, it was more than 85%. The average package was 4 LPA. There were many companies and the names I remember are TCS, Infosys, L&T and much more. The role offered to us was assistant system engineer.

My view of the college which originates from the journey of 4 years.

Placements: The placements have drastically decreased to half as compared to the previous year. The companies related to mechanical are not interested in our college. This year near about 45% students got placed. The highest salary is 3.36 lakhs per annum and the lowest one is 1 lakh. The companies which visited our campus are TCS and Manlift. The roles of assistant system engineer have been allotted to the students who got placed in TCS. Less than 1% of students got an internship from the college. Since ou...

Good college ambience but placement cell needs to be improved.

Placements: The placement status this year hasn't been very good, to be true. Senior batches have seen better outcome during their time. This mainly is due to the degradation of the quality of technical skills possessed by the students. The resources provided by the college for the benefit of the students are not being used by the students with proper vigor and appreciation. The highest salary this year is 3.36 LPA by TCS. Lowest is by Hyundai (10K pm). Roles offered varied from developers to sales to di...

Good college with lots of potential.

Placements: Placement was on the average side as a maximum of 35% people got a job from campus placements. It was a little worse than the previous year. The main companies that offered our college students for campusing were TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) Infosys and Tech Mahindra. There was also some not so renowned company which visited our campus. TCS had a package of 3.36 lakhs/annum where has Infosys had 3.25L/annum and TM had 3.15L/annum. Mostly students are offered the roles of junior system engine...

Really good infrastructure but corrupt administration.

Placements: Only 2 on-campus placements had taken place which are from TCS and another management company. Rest all were off-campus placements. Around 50% students are placed till now this year. Comparatively, each year, the percentage is decreasing. No core company comes to our college, and most of the roles were of consultancy roles offered as the need of the companies. There is no information about the internship or the stipend.

Faculty is the best part of this college. Not that great infrastructures and facilities.

Placements: Placements were not very good in my year when compared to a previous year or any other year before. It may be due to the dying economic development of West Bengal as a whole, but it is what it is. The main recruiters of the college are TCS(Tata Consultancy Services) and Infosys. Only about 30% of the students got placed through campus placement opportunities. The role given to a fresher by these IT companies are mostly that of a system engineer. The salary offered by TCS was 3.36 LPA and that by...

CEMK - The finest college in the district.

Placements: A good number of students till now have been placed either on campus or off campus. Companies like TCS, CTS, Tech Mahindra etc visit the college for the recruitment. The college offers different kinds of opportunities for the students like visiting India's leading governmental organisations like BARC, ISRO etc. It also provides facility to do vocational training at governmental organisations like IOCL and WBPDCL.

Good infrastructure, facilities and average placement.

Placements: Over the few years, the placements have not been so good. What I thought when I took admission at the college is that its average should be around 45% students getting a job. Only a few core companies came to our college like TCS and Infosys which belong to the IT sector. The other companies are Johnson Controls, Tech Mahindra and Lintech Electric.

A to Z information about the College of Engineering and Management,Kolaghat.

Placements: Overall, the placement is average. Six trades(CSE, ECE, IT, ME, EE, EIE) are there and the best-placed trade is CSE and then ECE. In 2016, from these two trades, about 80% students were placed. Not so good placement for IT and EIE. In 2016, average placed students' percentage was near about 60%. Mainly IT companies visit. The main companies are TCS, Infosys and Tech Mahindra.

Excellent place to enjoy, the college owns a lake, you can get an excellent view during evening.

Placements: It has good placement for the CSE/IT/ECE streams, almost all students got a placement in TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra. This year there is a bit less placement as what it was during the seniors' time. It goes up and down. The companies keep visiting till the last semester, and it depends on the students how they have prepared. If I talk about the internship, it is not good but for the CSE/IT/ECE streams, it is far better than the core branches as college itself provides an opportunity to get an in...

The college’s academic background is definitely very nice but it lacks in terms of administration. The Director of the college is not friendly, but the teachers are good and are very inspiring. This college gets funds from World Bank, last year the college received a fund of 10 crores rupees to develop the labs and infrastructure.
