Overall, this college is good and you have to acquire knowledge by yourself.

Placements: Only some students get good salary packages, and the rest will get less packages. This course is good for getting a simple job in the beginning.

Our college offers a unique productive course.

Placements: From the placement point of view, major fields include research and development, designing, production, and marketing. Approximately 60 to 70 plastic technicians will qualify each year, so competition will be relatively low, and the probability of placing in the core field is relatively high. Plastic technology is purely a practical-oriented course, so skills are the major requirement that determines the salary package. Since CIPET is an industrial college, we can learn a lot from the production...

Teachers are good and knowledgeable but they don't teach students for a better future.

Placements: In our college, only 10% of the students are placed. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000 per month which is very low. No top companies are coming only small companies visit the campus. But marks of most of the students under 80 to 90%. The course is very affordable, but most of the students are not placed.

Good placement in 2018, well trained design engineers.

Placements: Yes our college had placement cell. It really functioned so well and the placement rates were so good. In our batch almost 90% were placed where others preferred to pursue higher studies. Many OEM, MNC like TVS, Valeo etc. , were brought by our placement cell. The salary range would be 3- 5 LPA. Overseas opportunities were also there for those who preferred gulf countries. We also had few internship programme in Madras incubation cell. The stipend was about 15k.

CIPET-A blissful journey -Hold every memories as you go.

Placements: Placement team allocated representatives for the each batch and they will create one common forum and will keep us posted on the same in regular basis. We are given aptitude/softskill session before attending interview which help us face the interview with good confidence.

The college has really good infrastructure and facilities but average placements.

Placements: Placements in our college were average. Placements depend on our skills, confidence and decision making capacity. We had countable top companies and more private limited, which were mostly average. If we had extra skills related to design and mould flow, it is very helpful for placements.

Very good for the students aim for pursuing PhD in abroad. Direct PhD is available.

Placements: The students have placed in government organisations such as ISRO, DRDO, BARC, IGCAR and IOCL. As the students get training in both chemical and electrochemical engineering, they enjoy a wide spectrum of placement opportunities.
