Chaitanya Engineering College Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Visakhapatnam

Placements: The placements play an integral role in our college. Our seniors and super seniors have got placed in the companies in different states. The highest salary offered by a company is Rs. 30,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Few companies come for the mechanical branch whereas computer science students will get opportunities in companies such as ILM, Wipro, Infosys, etc.

Placements: In my branch, 3 students got placed. Many companies come to our college. There is scope for getting job through placements. I studied EEE in this college. IT companies came to our college that's why our college is poor at providing placements. The teaching was very good in my time, I don't know about the current situation.

Placements: We got a few placements. The selected candidates were offered placements. Good companies came to recruit the students from this college. The students are recruited by looking at all the abilities of the candidates. Overall, it is a good college for placements. I would recommend this college for better placements.

Placements: The placements provided in our college are good. Our seniors got selected in several companies during their campus placements. When compared to other colleges, I feel my college is little better. Our principal and branch HOD work hard to bring good and highly reputed companies to the campus for placements. I feel that the college is average.

Placements: At the time when I was relieving my college, there are no placements for mechanical engineering. The college principal mainly focused on CSE branch, so the number of placements in the mechanical field is less by the end of the final year. One company hired some students, but till now, there are no call letters for them.

Placements: Very few placements are held in the campus. Moreover, nowadays, there is no good situation for core branches. Very few placements were held in last 5 years. The people who got selected in campus also not interested to go for that job. It's not a good choice for right one.

Placements: To list out course related companies there were 10 IT companies, 3 electrical companies, 3 mechanical companies, 2 civil companies that came to our college. Approximately 20 members were selected including all branches. I think that my college was suitable for IT students.

Placements: Many offers from various companies are allotted to the students like gospeedygo, tech Mahindra, infosys, general electric etc. Placements carried and many internships are held during the academic year. The package is starting from 25000/- to 250000/- This helps a lot for the scholar students.

Placements: Recently, C-Core, Go Speedy Go, Attain, APSSDC, etc., visited our campus for CSE, civil, ECE, EEE, mechanical, and MBA departments. From all over Visakhapatnam, the youngest talented guys from our college were placed. This is a fruitful platform to achieve our dreams, and Tech Mahindra is also joining.

Placements: There are no placements for the mechanical core. If there are any placements, they are useful only for the computer engineer students. The placements for the mechanical is 0%. According to the placements issue, there are no placements for the mechanical department. There is more struggle for the campus placement.

Placements: Pool campus drives are conducted in the college. The companies like Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Genesis, etc., recruited nearly 30 students with good packages. The college provides training classes and workshops for the students to gain good knowledge.

Placements: The intake by the companies is increasing year by year. The number of MNCs coming to college is very less. As far as I know, the highest salary is 3.5 LPA and are taken under programmers and the least is 1.5 LPA from BPOs. Companies like Capgemini, Amazon (service-based), Tech Mahindra, etc. The college does not offer any internships and hence, no stipend.

Placements: During the time of our admission (2012), the college was actually good with faculty, placements but after completion of our 1st year, our college has gone worse. In our seniors' batch, 1 member got placed among 140 members and coming to our batch, it was 0 and is still like that.

Placements: So many recruitment programs were done in Chaitanya Engineering College, especially for CSE, ECE and EEE branches. In 2017, many students got placed in a majority of companies. My senior batch also got good campus placements in software companies. But for mechanical and civil branches, there were no more core-related campus drives. But some companies like Tech Mahindra and Infotech companies recruited some mechanical and civil branch students.

Placements: The placements of my batch were too poor in core companies. The placements for CSE were awesome and there are many companies who offer jobs for EEE & ECE as well. Around 40% students were placed as per my knowledge. The average salary offered is around 4 lakhs per annum. Companies like HCL, Tech Mahindra, Microsoft, Techsoft, Infotech, Amazon, etc. recruited the students.

Placements: Most of the companies that have visited our college are ITES/BPO companies. All they are expecting is good communication skills. Even though there are a few MNCs like Tech Mahindra, most of the selected candidates don't get a mail about their selection after the HR round. The salary range offered by MNCs is 2.4 LPA during probation and after training, it will be hiked to 3 LPA. Placements: There are many campus placements for computer science engineering students, even though students of other departments can also attend them. There have been many pool campus selections in past years in my college. Training is provided on the CRT i.e. campus recruitment training. Around 50 companies visited in the last year.

College is well established and lush green campus infrastructured with ground, Lab, water plants and water recycling and mechanical and civil labs with every equipment. Chaitanya engineering college is located in Andhra pradesh, Visakhapatnam, Kommadi near to Madhurawada, One of the best colleges I have ever seen. The faculty was very good and we can say that faculty is pertinent to the subjects and head of the department was always available. Library was good and books are always in handy.
