It is a normal government college and good at CSE course only and average at ECE course.

Placements: Around 85% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 33LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered is 3.5 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered in CSE is 7 LPA. There are no internships from any company inside the campus, but students can take from off-campus. It is a government college and a certified college. It provides good placements.

Placements: From our batch, only 2 students got placed as we are diploma students. Few companies visit our college for placements, but if you are doing the B.Tech, from our college, then there are a very high amount of opportunities. In the previous year, a degree student got placed at Amazon as a software engineer with a salary package of 34 LPA. From our batch, only 2 students got placed at Violet Chima. Placements are only good for the degree students. Many companies like HP, Dell, Swaraj, Violet PP, Vio...

There is a good environment here. Our college is the best to pursue a polytechnic in Punjab.

Placements: Not a single student got placed from our batch because most of them considered further studying like B.Tech and BE. However, from a degree wing, a student of our college got a placement with a salary package of 34 LPA as a software engineer in Amazon. Companies hire students for roles like software engineer, web designer, cloud computing, etc.

CCET-26 is a good government college for engineering.

Placements: You need to work on your own with TPC cell for placements and work on your skills. Companies don't even come here to offer free/paid internships or placements. You can work on your own to get off-campus placements. You need to start preparing from the 3rd year at least, for government exams or IT companies.

It is one of the best engineering colleges in Chandigarh.

Placements: The placement ratio of our college is not that good. I did not get placed from this college. Placement drives are conducted here, but they are not in high quantity. Only a few students got placed. The highest salary package offered would go up to 12 LPA. Most of the IT students got placed. Overall, our college is not good at placements.

The placement needs improvement.

Placements: 60-70 percent of the students pursuing a degree in Computer Science get placed. The highest package goes up to 15L and the average is around 6L. No on-campus internships. The position of Software Engineer is offered. The students resort to higher studies due to absence of good packages offered by the companies.

Satisfied with the overall time I spent in CCET - 2012-16.

Placements: The placements during 2016 were good enough. The placements team worked hard to get good companies on campus. Infosys was the mass recruiter which took students from all streams. Other companies to visit the campus were MuSigma, Click Labs, Trade, Quark etc.

Placements: I am from the 2017 batch of the diploma in mechanical engineering. Placements here are the worst and not fruitful, and only 3 or 4 students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 0.96 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are ITC, Cheema Boilers, Makino, SML, Swaraj, etc.

It is a good college for education but worst for placements.

Placements: My batch is 2016, and I am from the mechanical engineering department. You have to write JEE Mains to get admission in this college. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the highest salary package offered is around 7 LPA. Infosys, Godrej, SML, Mazda, etc., are top recruiting companies for our course. It is best if you choose CS engineering.
