The infrastructure is good, but before the previous year, there was some problem in academics.

Placements: The college provides more placements compared to other colleges. About 50% of the students from our course got placed in good companies and remaining will soon get placed. The highest salary package offered in our college ranges between 6-5 LPA. The highest salary package offered rarely is 7 LPA. Students who attend placements are only college students and not outsiders.

Review of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: I am a Leet student, so I need a rank of less than 50 in PULEET exam to get admission in this college. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. It does not support students much in an internship. A top recruiting company of our course is Infosys. Many roles are not offered to the students.

Our college has a good infrastructure, and according to fees, the study provided is very good.

Placements: In our passing out batch, many students got 80% or above 80% marks in academics. Even some of them got placements from our college. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month and some of the companies also offer a salary ranges from Rs. 15,000-18,000 per month. In this college, you can get placements if you have 70% or higher than 70% marks in your academics. If you have a degree, the salary offered increases to double the salary offered to diploma students.

Placements: My batch 2016-2020. Around 15 percent of students were placed from my batch including placements in non-core companies also. Average package is around 4 lac and the highest package offered is 7 lac. The top recruiting company is Godrej which offered 5.5 lac per annum. All students are going under internship in various companies like Mahindra, Swaraj, Godrej, etc.

Review of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: I am a student of mechanical engineering branch, and till now just one core company named Godrej & Boyce had conducted a placement drive which was a pool placement. Among 270 students of 5 colleges, only 40 cleared the technical round, and only 9 students made it through PI. But a lot of IT companies visited our college for recruitment, and they offered a better salary package of 12 LPA while Godrej offered a salary package of 4.5 LPA.

Best Polytechnic College in Chandigarh.

Placements: From our batch, there is zero placements. Some of the local technology companies came for placement but due to not such a good company profile, no one take interest in placements. Some BPO companies also came for placement offering 1.2 Lacs per annum. From my batch, only one student selected for apprenticeship in WIPRO held in other college for 6k per month. The companies in placements offer max 1.8 Lacs per annum.

You can have a good college life at the hostel but not too enjoyable at the college.

Placements: Basically there is placement for CSE and ECE branches but there is no placement for the CIVIL branch. The highest salary offered was 12 Lacs but that too was to the CSE branch. The average salary packages goes over 3 Lacs. There are no companies that come to CCET for the placements for CIVIL branch.

Really good college if engineering interests you!

Placements: 1. In ECE, around 80-90% percent of the students are placed in companies like Infosys, Quark, Jugnoo, etc. As an ECE student, I'd suggest to better have knowledge of programming languages, because I think that knowledge matters and not the branch in which you are. If you've a good knowledge of programming language, then you can beat a CSE student too. 2. The highest package: 9 lac by Jugnoo Average pack: 4-5 lac the lowest pac: 2 lac 3. Top recruiters are Infosys, Bajaj, Quark, Jugnoo etc. 4....

Quite good which is improving exponentially.

Placements: Placements are improving as compared to previous years due to more concerned faculty even though not up to the level of PEC. Packages offered are around 6 Lacs which are quite good as compared to trend in various jobs where starting package is of 3 to 4 lacks. In short bright future for graduating batches.
