A college that turns its students into leaders for the future.

Placements: Placements in our college have been good for our batch (2014-18). Companies that visited our campus included Godrej, Denso, Adani Oil, SML, Infosys and many more. The placement cell is good and active in providing job opportunities to engineering students. For internships, Reliance Retail hired six people from the college.

Moderately satisfied with the space to do things out of college and supportive people around.

Placements: Placements in our college are average and depend on your stream. It is good for CSE and ECE branches. For the mechanical branch, very few core companies visit the campus. One has to end up taking non-technical jobs. There is a high scope to improve the placements for the civil branch. Otherwise, they can try for some mass recruiting companies.

The college premises and the faculty members were the best.

Placements: Placements in our college were above average. Many reputed companies visited the campus and conducted placement drives. Almost 70% of the batch was placed in companies like SML, Mahindra, Infosys etc. The process was not entirely student-driven. The college maintains good tie-ups with some reputed companies.

It is a great college in Chandigarh.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Many small scale companies and a few MNCs visite the campus for placements, but most profiles were offered in the IT sector. There were only a few recruiters for mechanical and electrical department. The average salary package offered ranges between 3.5-4 Lacs per annum. The placement cell is mostly student-driven.

Review of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: The college has a placement cell which includes faculty as well as students. Placements are decent for CSE and ECE departments. But, it was not a good scenario for mechanical and civil engineering students. Infosys is a mass recruiter. Some regular companies and some new companies visit our campus. During my time, there was limited exposure.

I am not satisfied with the college. It is an average college.

Placements: The companies that approach our college are not high in number. Although, those companies offer an average salary package of 4-4.50 lacs per annum. Almost 90% of the students get placed. The companies that visit our campus include Infosys, Quark, Jugnoo, Gemini Solutions, etc. There is a placement cell in college, and it is efficient to quite an extent.

Overall, the college is satisfactory.

Placements: Placements in our college are not much good. Only 1-2 multinational companies visit the campus but they may or may not recruit the students. From the computer science branch, almost 75-80% of the students got placed. The lowest package offered can be 1.5 LPA, and the highest package offered was 12 LPA by Zomato last year. The college has tie-ups with Infosys. It visits the campus and recruits the students in bulk. But, the candidates might be fired from the company in future. The company provide...

This engineering college is worth considering.

Placements: I got placed in 4 companies. The college works towards improving the skills of students and also guides everyone about what field they should pursue according to their skills. If you want to brush up your skills, then this is the college for you. This is an excellent college. You should consider it once.

A review of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: The placement cell of this college was on a moderate level. Very few companies visit our college to hire the students of the mechanical branch. Only four companies visited our college to hire the students of the mechanical branch. A lot of companies visit our college to hire the students of computer science branch. I would rate 2 out of 5 for placements. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, which was given to a CS student. This year, about 40% of the students got placed through college...

Overall I think Ccet is well organised, good faculty, good in every department.

Placements: The placements in my college are good for all the branches. In the year 2015 maximum package offered to a student was 15 Lacs followed by Gemini solutions which was 6.4lakhs. In Chandigarh college of engineering and technology the top recruiter is mainly Infosys.

A good college with decent placements.

Placements: The placements of the civil department are not much great, especially the core civil jobs are rare. Many civil students got placed in IT companies which are not much great though. Overall, the placements are not very good for civil students but decent.

When I passed for mechanical it wasn't good.

Placements: Almost 100 percent placement for ECE and CSE. For mechanical and civil not so good. In my time ecery CSE and ECE guy got two three placement but only three people got placement from mechanical. College has improved since then lots of new faculty has come selected from UPSC with lots of experience.

Good engineer college with affordable education!

Placements: Honestly speaking, placements presently are not good enough. The average package is of around 3-4 Lacs. However, since its a government college under Punjab University so you can expect a better job in future. The maximum package has been upto 15 Lacs. Companies such as Quarks and Infosys visit college for campus placements. There are many top scorers in KAT from our college.

Placements: There is a placement cell in the college and students are given various duties and posts in the cell. Companies come and recruit computer science and electronics department students, but there is no such information about mechanical and civil departments.
