Our college is affiliated to Punjab University, which has a high reputation in North India. College campus is small, but the quality of academics is good. Extra-curricular activities like dramatics, dance, debates are an active part of college. It is a student-driven college, participation of faculty is less, and participation of students’ is more in all the activities. The college fees is very less, up to 30,000 INR per semester. Currently only B.E. in CSE, ECE, Mechanical Engineering and Civil...

It’s good to study as affiliated by Punjab University and the fee is affordable by a middle class family. The college crowd is good but faculty needs an improvement. Some of the teachers need to be changed for the students. As affiliated by PU getting jobs are easy if the student has talent.

It is a fantastic college with one of the great and oldest campus. Faculty is the ocean of knowledge, you will get best knowledge here. College fee is too low and worthy. However, the placements are not enough. Facilities are good, but there is also some space for improvement. Overall it is above than an average but not a perfect college.

Satisfied with the college placements.

Placements: The placements at the college are good, and I can say they're above average. 85 percent of students in CSE and ECE are placed. Placements in mechanical and civil engineering are too low—only 30–40 percent of students get placed. The average package is around INR 6.5 LPA for CSE and ECE. Top recruiting companies like Gemini Solutions, Infosys, Cvent, TCS, Wipro, Chicmic, Code Brew Labs, and many more visit the campus. But the one drawback of the college is that they don't provide internships; you...

Overall, the college and my college experience are good.

Placements: No student gets placement offers from this course. Even the production branch students don't get any placement offers. But other branch students get placement offers, especially CSE and electronics. Other branches like civil, mechanical and electrical are offered.

Above average faculty but average placements.

Placements: Top recruiting companies include Ernst&Young, Infosys, Gemini Solutions. Above 3 lpa package was offered. More than 80% students got internships and more than 50 percent placements in ECE. Roles offered aren't major as we start as a freshers.

One of the best college in Chandigarh for engineering.

Placements: Placement is around 70%. Minimum percentage required to sit in placement is 60%. Some of the companies have their requirement that only students who have a percentage of 70% or above only those can sit. The highest package is of 9 Lacs and the lowest is of 3.25 Lacs.

Review of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: This year, placements at CCET for mechanical engineering were quite average, but improvement can be seen as compared to the previous batches. This year Godrej was a new company in the list of recruiters besides companies like Mahindra, Punj, Lloyd, IFB, Isuzu, and mass recruiter Infosys being old in the list. Placements rate of the college is above 90% from the past few years.

Absolutely satisfied with the campus and study methods of faculty. There are fair placements.

Placements: We know placements are really not good in civil engineering line then we can't hope a huge placement. But in our college, we expect Infosys and other companies for placements. Sometimes L&T also visited here, but in that year no students were offered a job. According to the previous 6 years, the highest salary package offered is about 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is about 2.3 LPA. The average salary package offered is about 3.56 LPA. For internships, we have to find it on our own int...

CCET is an affordable college with low fee structure.

Placements: Placements in our college have improved in recent years from around 40% to 60-70%. Companies mainly visit here for the computer science department. Very few core companies visit for the mechanical, electronics and civil department. In the year 2017, many companies visited the campus, including Zycus, EY, Infosys, Godrej, Quark, etc. Roles offered were of business analyst and risk analyst mainly.
