I am not satisfied because of the environment.

Placements: In our college, almost all students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA off-campus and 12 LPA on campus. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, etc., visit our campus. Almost 50% of students get internships. Top role offered is a web developer.

Our college has average infrastructure and provides good teaching.

Placements: Around 50% to 60% of students get placed in our college with an average salary package of 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. Top roles offered are software engineer, software analyst, etc. Few students of our college get internships. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA and the lowest salary package s 2 LPA.

I’m more disappointed than happy.

Placements: Not many placement options are there in PUP for B.Tech. Last year only 3 companies visited and only 12 students were placed. Top recruiting company is Solitaire Infosys. Students from my course which is ECE (electronic and communications) got internships in Solitaire Infosys and Novem Controls.

It is a good university for engineering, and the fee is affordable.

Placements: The placements are good for CSE, ECM, and ECE students. There are no placements for civil and mechanical students. The average package is 10-12 LPA for computer engineering students, and the maximum package is 35 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys etc. On average, 75% of students got internships in their 8th semester.

It is the best university for sports.

Placements: The placements are good in our college. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Almost 70-80% of students got their desired position and got good placements. There are also many roles provided by our university to get our desired positions. Our university is best in the Patiala.

It has good campus life and hostels.

Placements: The average salary package after B.Tech in CSE is 3.5 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Many students join various groups and do internships on their own and do self-study mostly for placements.

The infrastructure is not quite good. Lifts are not working here.

Placements: I am currently in 2nd year, so I do not know much about placement. I have heard that placements are average on campus. Students can atleast get a salary that ranges from Rs. 40,000-50,000 per month if they are in the top 20 in their branch, which is quite less than required for a person to enjoy themselves.

College is the best to enjoy life. You can do everything. Placements and teachers are amazing.

Placements: Mass recruitment for computer science students is provided by Infosys. Almost every student from computer science of the 2022 batch got placed. Many companies come for placements in which the main recruiter is Infosys.

I am satisfied because of faculty members.

Placements: Almost 80% of the students got placed. The minimum salary offered is Rs. 20,000 to 40,000 per month. Larsen and Turbo is the top recruiting company of our college. They offer good salary packages along with a stipend. Many jobs, including superintendent engineer, assistant engineer, highways department and professors in the intended universities are also offered to the students of our college. In our course, the average salary offered is about Rs. 30,000 per month and others will also get a high...

I recommend this college as it has good infrastructure and offers various courses.

Placements: The placements in our college haven't been satisfactory or up to the mark. But, the administration is now serious about it and working a lot to improve. The college has a placement cell that handles the placements of engineering students. Till the past year, Infosys has been a mass recruiter and provided placements to 70% of the CS students. Infosys has been providing an annual package of 2.75 lacs per annum. Small companies visit the campus but hardly recruit 4-5 students, which is bad. For oth...

A good life experience in UCOE.

Placements: Placement for mechanical is not good. Depends on the student, weather he wants to be placed or not, because mostly companies are IT companies like Infosys, which is a mass recruiter. Mechanical companies are very few and they place only few students (like 5-10 students). In my batch around 50%students got placed.

A good decent college but there is a lot to improve in teachers quality.

Placements: The placements are bad for mechanical engineering. There are only 1 or 2 core companies that come for the placements. Asahi and Mazda motors. For the CSE, the placements are good, but for mechanical, it is very difficult. The students for streams other than CSE also get a chance to get the placements in IT company like Infosys which mass recruiters. The highest package is 6 LPA (Mazda motors)& minimum is 2.2 LPA (Asahi).

Good placements and worth the money. Satisfied with the awesome atmosphere.

Placements: Placements are done on merit. Meritorious students get placed in multinational companies easily. 25% of our seniors got placed last year. Their minimum salary offered was 35000 rupees and the average goes up to 40000 rupees. Another 30% of the students got an internship.

Excellent place to study at but low in placements.

Placements: Honestly saying, Placements of our college has been decreasing year by year. There were many companies that visited our campus when I had just joined but if I see today's scenario, there are only reputed brands like Infosys and Indian Army coming for recruitment. The major recruiters are Infosys & Cognizant. Our senior batches have got more offers from many other like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Accenture. But now these companies have stopped coming to our college. But, now some new companies paying low...

Dissatisfied because of the faculty and the placements but amazing infrastructure and colllege life.

Placements: Placement for IT streams is above average. 70-80% of the students are placed. Placements for civil and mechanical in core companies are poor, though these streams get an equal chance of being placed in IT companies. Companies like Infosys, Mahindra, Talwars, Swaraj are regular recruiters. Very few startups visit campus for placements. The average salary is 3 lakhs. Just 1 or 2 companies visit the campus for internships.

Placements: Many placement drives happen here. But the selection is based on your capability. Companies that came here keep their aspirations high. Due to the university's status, it becomes important for you to act properly. Many companies like Mahindra, Indian Army, etc. visit for placements.

Placements: For my year, placements were excellent and also at the highest for all the years. Ninety percent of students from computer engineering branch got placed. Most placements were for Infosys and other companies like Citrix and Emerson. Tech Mahindra also took a good number of students from this college. One student got the highest package as compared to other students and other years also. The lowest salary was 3.25 LPA and the highest was 20 LPA. It is a pretty decent college in terms of infrastructure and placements, particularly good for CSE and ME students as there are not much opportunities for ECE students. It is a nice university in terms of campus and other areas like library/sports auditorium, hostels and canteens.
