Review of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran.

Faculty: Teachers' knowledge is good. The course curriculum is provided by the university and the academic calendar is provided beforehand. It is followed strictly. The number of working days, the number of lectures, and the number of holidays are all followed according to the academic calendar. Semester exams are regularly with 2-mid semester exams and one final exam as they are held at regular intervals across all semesters.

The college is absolutely great to get a good placement.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive of students; they encourage students to participate in different events. The teaching standards are very high in our college; the course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes students industrial-ready. By giving them constant GD sessions as well as case studies and verbal training, MST is easy as compared to the semester exams. The semester exams are also not very tough as compared to university exams.

Review of Chandigarh Group of College, Landran .

Faculty: 40% pass percentage and very hard marking teachers really focus on the quality of the answers and the content provided in the answers. Even a small error is counted and can eat your marks; midterms happen twice with half the syllabus, and they matter for internals.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful and we can reach them anytime if we have any type of queries, and they have high knowledge. Teaching quality is overall good. Yes, obviously this course makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are of intermediate level. The pass percentage is 40%.

I am absolutely satisfied with our college in placements, events, etc.

Faculty: A semester is 3-4 months. In 3-4 months they conduct end-semester exams. We did not get much time to study the academics so we did not maintain our SGPA for placements. The faculty is good; not all but many of them are good in nature so we attend college just because of that.

Great experience of life.

Faculty: Faculty is very supportive and friendly. They help us in every difficult situation, like how to tackle with them and how to behave. If I am talking about exams, they are a bit tough but challenging also. It’s a task for students to check their abilities.

CGC Landran B.Tech CSE Department

Faculty: Faculty is good, even HODs are good for MST. Do PYQs—they are enough for semester exams. PYQs are enough for good marks. For placement, the college has a TPP cell. TPP starts from semester 3, and the TPP cell is really good. They provide good knowledge and also motivate us from time to time.

Why to choose CGC & why not to.

Faculty: Faculty is good. They have enough knowledge of their subjects, but a few teachers are also below average in teaching their subjects. As for exams, there are three kinds: 2 MSTs and then 1 final examination. The MSTs are a bit tough because they are made by local teachers, but finals are easier as they are made by PTU officials. From now on, our college is fully automated, so new batches will have to work hard to score as teachers here are too strict at checking papers.

The college is overall best and good teacher.

Faculty: Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, teachers are best, have good teaching skills, and are also cooperative. The notebook is also checked, and mock tests are held every two weeks so that students' improvement can be seen. Attendance has to be up to 75%. Teachers can debar in paper and classes, so it is best to maintain our attendance.
