Satisfied with the college.
Placements: The highest package offered in our college is INR 12 LPA, and the lowest is INR 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Mahindra & Mahindra, Capgemini, Canpack, Infosys, TCS, and more. The roles offered include system analyst, software engineer, data scientist, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities such as Wi-Fi, computer labs, clean classrooms, and a library are available. The college has good infrastructure, with each course having its own special department equipped with technologies and practical tools used in the industry. The food served in the canteen is decent.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The teaching quality is good, and the curriculum is designed to make students job-ready. Semester exams are quite easy to pass, and the college has a good pass percentage.
Other: I chose computer science and engineering because I am interested in different technologies, software applications, and games.

I am a student of 2027 batch.
Placements: Currently, I am pursuing B.Tech. I am in the 2nd year, CSE branch. So far, out of 70, 29 students have gotten internships. The main recruiters are TCS, Amazon, and Meesho. Our batch is competitive, and students are always eager to achieve something. We have 3 GSoC-selected students in our college.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. Wi-Fi is available 24/7. The quality of food is nice. 4-sharing rooms are available. Food quality is decent, and food is provided 3 times a day. For lunch, we get unlimited chapati and 2 curries like dal or green vegetables. But the hostel lighting is not good.
Faculty: Teachers are always ready to help, good, and friendly. The course outcome is good, and exam rules are followed strictly. Our semester exams follow university guidelines. The syllabus is designed by Ph.D. professionals.

Not satisfied with the placements, and events do not take place regularly.
Placements: I am doing B.Tech in AI & there are many opportunities in this field, but apart from this, the placement is pretty average. TCS, Mahindra, etc., companies come to recruit. The highest package at my branch is 15 LPA, but it's off-campus placement, and the average package is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good; there are separate hostels for boys and girls, and sports facilities are also available. Mess food is not good; it lacks taste. Facilities are provided such as Wi-Fi, classrooms are neat and tidy, and medical support is also given. An ambulance is also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good at teaching and are skilled. The teachers are helpful and supportive. The semester exams are conducted by the university, and it consists of 60 marks, in which we have to gain a minimum of 20 marks. If we fail to do so, we have to give a supplementary exam.
Other: I have an interest in AI, that's why I chose this branch.

Good placements in 2023-24. Really good infrastructure.
Placements: 80% of the students were placed in our college after lockdown. The highest package was 25,00000 per annum and the lowest package was 10,00000 per annum. Microsoft, TCS, TechMahindra, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini are the top recruiters. Almost 90 to 95% students got internships as it is compulsory to get an internship in many companies like Sumago, Wipro, and Be10x. DataScientist, Data Analyst, Python Programmer, Backed developer, Frontend developer are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, Labs, Apple labs, study labs, cold water tank, almost 20 to 30 computer labs, seminar halls along with 3 to 4 libraries are available in the college. 75% attendance is compulsory. Good quality of food, badminton court, gym separate for girls and boys, cricket and football ground, one ayurvedic hospital, one homeopathy hospital and one dental hospital are available.
Faculty: The teachers are fully qualified. The course curriculum is relevant, it makes the students industry ready. The department’s syllabus is very relevant. This college teaches various new technologies so that we can become future ready and can handle any situation. There are also special batches for Aptitude free of cost and it’s compulsory to attend those classes. Because the first criteria of the companies coming for placements is Aptitude, if we pass in Aptitude test only then we can attend the coding round. Many big companies come to our college to give special talks on placements and industry standards. The exams are quite difficult but the passing percentage is 80 to 85%.
Other: I like coding and AI & this is a new and emerging branch.

Reality of Chhatrapati Shahu college of engineering.
Placements: The reality of placements is really the worst. The reality is that those who are part of E Baha & Samaskara got jobs in Mahindra & Mahindra and Pinnacle Motors with 3-4 lakh packages. In a class of 77 students, only 10 students from the college were placed. Before COVID, they placed many students in IT, but from 2023, placements have been the worst. No students find internships themselves; mostly, Waluj companies like Man Mental and Varroc give a 15,000 stipend for 6 months.
Infrastructure: The college has only a good auditorium. It has two buildings; one has been under construction for many years and is still not finished. There is no Wi-Fi, practicals are conducted on a virtual lab platform as the college does not have physical labs. The college rents out the sports ground to others, so we do not have permission to play on our college sports ground. The hostel is only for girls; boys need to stay in flats and private hostels available nearby.
Faculty: Teachers mostly focus on feels, some are really good. Two teachers in our department are Ph.D. qualified - Mithun and Karpe sir. The course curriculum is outdated; it's from a low-class university, DBATU, and it doesn't make anyone industry-ready. Even a 12th class student can clear its exams; they need many attempts to clear the final exam. The university is greedy; it only focuses on money, not on students' development.
Other: Although the college has many problems, they do not force poor students to pay fees; they give some extra time. The college fee is 75,000 per year.

The Struggle story of 6 years
Placements: Percentage of student placed is very minimum. Nearly 30% students get placement and the salary package offered are 1.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA, so it's best in terms of education and discipline but placement opportunities are less but college is remarkable in terms of R and D.
Infrastructure: All facilities provided by college are excellent. Barely there are some issues. College has numerous labs, students do projects in. Like, the faculties are good but have some ego issues but overall it's a very good college in terms of facilitations and canteen facilities.
Faculty: Actually the teaching quality is very inappropriate except some. Of the faculty many of them target students on personal perspectives. The semester exams are held very strict so it's good on that basis. The course content is affiliated under DBATU university and it's very careless.
Other: College is excellent In terms of campus life but everyone can't enjoy the campus life. The attendance criteria of 75 perfect does not get fulfilled.
