B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027

With good infrastructure, activities and opportunities for students.
Placements: In my course, almost more than 60% of students were placed last year. The highest package was 8 lakhs in mechanical, and the lowest was 2.45 lakhs, and about 3.25 lakhs is an average package. Mahindra offered the highest package to one of our students. Almost 45 to 50% of students got internships from college placement, and the remaining on their own also are some of them. And the top roles offered in our course in the last batch were design engineer, marketing, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has two buildings with multiple floors, and mechanical engineering is on the B building's 1st floor. We have excellent labs for workshops with all equipment. While there are also some extra curriculars this year like Exploration, which is for 1st-year students who aim to teach them logical thinking. 2. The hostel is mainly for girls. 100% of girls will get the hostel facility from the college, which is much more affordable than others in the surrounding area. Almost 4 and 6-seater rooms are available, and the mess facilities are the best.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, and some of them are from IIT as well. Teaching is mostly very easy to understand due to staff's easy conversation. The course is too much relevant. As I am working at BAJA, all the concepts we learn are applicable in industries. We have done labs and Baja and Tifan Labs in our department for extra curriculum for 2nd-year students (first-year students are not applicable for these labs due to a lack of concepts required in those labs).
Other: I am a mechanical student, and it is not easy for me as a girl to choose it, but my aim is to be a design engineer, and Chh. Sambhajinagar has so many industries that are for mechanical, like Valuj, etc. I am working in Baja for making an ATV which runs on hydrogen and electricity. For 2025-26, we are planning to make an ATV of autonomous, i.e., a self-driving car. This will allow more branches like CSE, AIDS, ACT, VLSI, electrical, and electronics branches to join this extra curriculum for more placement. From these extra curriculars, placement has boasted in college this year.

It's really a good college with good teachers and facilities.
Placements: Almost 60% of students get placement every year. The highest salary package offered in the college is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA in the mechanical field. Bajaj Auto, AR Industries, Dhoot Pvt, Kirdak Industries, etc. Our college is good in every section of my mind set. Good companies come to our college.
Infrastructure: Our college is very good in facilities. It provides a canteen with good food. The bus is available from small villages. Wi-Fi, labs, air conditioners, and more facilities are also available. Hostels, classrooms, and canteen infrastructure are excellent. There is a hospital near the hospital.
Faculty: Teachers have good skills to communicate with students. Some are not very good. Also, exams are hard in the college. The passing percentage is 28% in every subject. Most of the students fail in exams because of the hard pattern of the syllabus. Backlogs are common in engineering.

Not satisfied with the placements, and events do not take place regularly.
Placements: I am doing B.Tech in AI & there are many opportunities in this field, but apart from this, the placement is pretty average. TCS, Mahindra, etc., companies come to recruit. The highest package at my branch is 15 LPA, but it's off-campus placement, and the average package is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good; there are separate hostels for boys and girls, and sports facilities are also available. Mess food is not good; it lacks taste. Facilities are provided such as Wi-Fi, classrooms are neat and tidy, and medical support is also given. An ambulance is also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good at teaching and are skilled. The teachers are helpful and supportive. The semester exams are conducted by the university, and it consists of 60 marks, in which we have to gain a minimum of 20 marks. If we fail to do so, we have to give a supplementary exam.
Other: I have an interest in AI, that's why I chose this branch.

The infrastructure is good but placements are not very good.
Placements: Placement is almost none. The highest salary package offered is around 3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Companies for placements are very less, and mostly local companies offer jobs. Students getting internships are very less i.e. almost 40%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good. It provides labs and Wi-Fi. The canteen food is good but not great. Hostels are okay. The sports ground is okay but does not conduct many games. Medical facilities are also provided in this college for help.
Faculty: Teachers are good but need improvement. Exams are quite difficult as very less student pass every semester. In my class, almost 70% of students have backlogs in the subjects. The syllabus needs to be improved and made relevant.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in learning about it. Events are good but few events are conducted.

An honest review of CSMSS CSCOE.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is around 10 out of 100. Recently, PTron company visited our college. The highest salary package offered in our branch is 15 LPA. Last week, 1 student secured an internship of 1 year with a 1.4 LPA. Nearby companies also visit our college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at this college is great, and I love the ambiance and campus. Wi-Fi is available on every floor. Labs are also available. Classrooms have projectors and fans. In the library, all the engineering books are available. The quality of mess food is good than in other mess. For sports, there is a ground for outdoor games, and for indoor games, we have a game club.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly in their behavior. They also have a great knowledge. Some of the teachers are passed out from IIT and COEP. Some senior teachers who previously taught in government colleges and now they are teaching us.
Other: The college campus is great. There is greenery everywhere.

The Struggle story of 6 years
Placements: Percentage of student placed is very minimum. Nearly 30% students get placement and the salary package offered are 1.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA, so it's best in terms of education and discipline but placement opportunities are less but college is remarkable in terms of R and D.
Infrastructure: All facilities provided by college are excellent. Barely there are some issues. College has numerous labs, students do projects in. Like, the faculties are good but have some ego issues but overall it's a very good college in terms of facilitations and canteen facilities.
Faculty: Actually the teaching quality is very inappropriate except some. Of the faculty many of them target students on personal perspectives. The semester exams are held very strict so it's good on that basis. The course content is affiliated under DBATU university and it's very careless.
Other: College is excellent In terms of campus life but everyone can't enjoy the campus life. The attendance criteria of 75 perfect does not get fulfilled.
