Review of Chhatrapati Shahu College of Engineering by first-year student.

Faculty: The course curriculum is modern, more practical, and skill-centric. Most of the subjects have the most required skills nowadays like python, java, AI, data engineering, machine learning, etc. We have one mid-semester exam, one end-semester exam, and two class tests in between. All teachers are highly qualified and know their job pretty well. They are very supportive. They always try to help us in every possible way.

With good infrastructure, activities and opportunities for students.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, and some of them are from IIT as well. Teaching is mostly very easy to understand due to staff's easy conversation. The course is too much relevant. As I am working at BAJA, all the concepts we learn are applicable in industries. We have done labs and Baja and Tifan Labs in our department for extra curriculum for 2nd-year students (first-year students are not applicable for these labs due to a lack of concepts required in those labs).

Except for some teachers. , including management, everything is not good.

Faculty: Teaching staff is brilliant, not all but some are very good in their domains, they inspire us very well to do in our career and helped us score good marks in academics, Staff is cooperative, but scolds for nothing, means rather than focusing on main thing, they go after * thing.

It's really a good college with good teachers and facilities.

Faculty: Teachers have good skills to communicate with students. Some are not very good. Also, exams are hard in the college. The passing percentage is 28% in every subject. Most of the students fail in exams because of the hard pattern of the syllabus. Backlogs are common in engineering.

The infrastructure is good but placements are not very good.

Faculty: Teachers are good but need improvement. Exams are quite difficult as very less student pass every semester. In my class, almost 70% of students have backlogs in the subjects. The syllabus needs to be improved and made relevant.

Not satisfied with the placements, and events do not take place regularly.

Faculty: Faculty members are really good at teaching and are skilled. The teachers are helpful and supportive. The semester exams are conducted by the university, and it consists of 60 marks, in which we have to gain a minimum of 20 marks. If we fail to do so, we have to give a supplementary exam.

An honest review of CSMSS CSCOE.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly in their behavior. They also have a great knowledge. Some of the teachers are passed out from IIT and COEP. Some senior teachers who previously taught in government colleges and now they are teaching us.

Yes, the course curriculum is very relevant. It definitely makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not that difficult, but they are challenging. The pass percentage is 80%.

I am a student of 2027 batch.

Faculty: Teachers are always ready to help, good, and friendly. The course outcome is good, and exam rules are followed strictly. Our semester exams follow university guidelines. The syllabus is designed by Ph.D. professionals.

The Struggle story of 6 years

Faculty: Actually the teaching quality is very inappropriate except some. Of the faculty many of them target students on personal perspectives. The semester exams are held very strict so it's good on that basis. The course content is affiliated under DBATU university and it's very careless.

Good placements in 2023-24. Really good infrastructure.

Faculty: The teachers are fully qualified. The course curriculum is relevant, it makes the students industry ready. The department’s syllabus is very relevant. This college teaches various new technologies so that we can become future ready and can handle any situation. There are also special batches for Aptitude free of cost and it’s compulsory to attend those classes. Because the first criteria of the companies coming for placements is Aptitude, if we pass in Aptitude test only then we can attend the c...

Reality of Chhatrapati Shahu college of engineering.

Faculty: Teachers mostly focus on feels, some are really good. Two teachers in our department are Ph.D. qualified - Mithun and Karpe sir. The course curriculum is outdated; it's from a low-class university, DBATU, and it doesn't make anyone industry-ready. Even a 12th class student can clear its exams; they need many attempts to clear the final exam. The university is greedy; it only focuses on money, not on students' development.

CSMSS Chh. Shahu College of Engineering is not just a college; it's an emotion.

Faculty: Teachers help us the most during IT training. We have to do hands-on training of coding languages and databases, and they help us the most. The course curriculum is from DBATU University, which is considered a backward university. Its curriculum is outdated. Exams are easy; if we don't clear them, we have a chance to clear them in the remedial exam.
