Chitkara University provides a great learning atmosphere.

Placements: The placement rate here is good, and the teachers are also really helpful. Many students get really good placements, which depend on their work throughout the entire degree. Cash prizes are also given to exceptionally high-ranking students. Overall, the placement rate is good.

A blend of rollercoaster life of college with bittersweet experiences.

Placements: Chitkara University consistently achieves an impressive placement rate, with over 90% of graduating students receiving job offers before graduation. Their alumni have gone on to hold prominent positions in various industries. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Google, Airtel, HCL, and many more participate in the placement drive. The highest salary offered is INR 40 LPA with an average of INR 8.5 LPA.

Review of Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture, Chitkara University, Chandigarh.

Placements: Placements are provided on a merit basis. We should have the knowledge and confidence to get placements. Experts conduct extra sessions about software, etc. They help us to get placements.

My experience at chitkara university is lovable and I will suggest everyone to go there.

Placements: No student is got placement in this course, you have to make portfolio of your work and then go to the companies on your own and than they will hire you according to your skills. Starting package is from 30,000 and varies according. Top recruiting companies are ZAHA HADID ARCHITECTS, HAFFIZ CONTRACTOR, ZAFFAR ARCHITECTS. Each and every student get internship in higher and lower companies according to their skill. But everyone is get internship for sure. Top roles offered by this course are proje...

It is the best college with the management and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are good. Internships are regularly given to talented students who are good at their skills. After internships, placement opportunity is good. The highest salary package offered is 1 CPA and the average salary package is 9.5 LPA. I recommend students to take admission to this college.

Review of Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture, Chitkara University, Chandigarh.

Placements: Our department has 100-120 students, and they are further divided into sections of 40-50 students per class. Internships are provided in the 4th year, and all the students are placed in our course.

It is one of the best universities in North India.

Placements: Our university claims 100% placements for students but most students get placed in mass recruitment. Top recruiting companies that come to our university are Amazon, Google, and Wipro. We have a learn programming, full-stack development, and many more things in this course. The highest salary package offered in our university goes like 25 LPA - 30 LPA and the lowest salary package offered in mass recruitment is 3 LPA to 4 LPA.

The college is good with infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: In our college, it does not have any placements. Students have to look for architectural firms and apply on their own. The college is in no way responsible for the placements.

What we learned from there is the reason what we are today. Thank you for making us who we are.

Placements: L & t came for recruitment and took few of our the brightest talents and they are still working with them and made their life worth it. Also they helped us to get good jobs in many architectural firms through their references at internship as well as on permanent jobs.

I am satisfied with almost everything on campus other than placements in the year 2016.

Placements: Around 120 students took admission in B.Arch course. A few left the course at an early stage, and a few got a year back. Approximate 85-90% of students gave their thesis and got degrees. There was no salary package offered in our batch. Not even a single recruiter company came to recruit pass out students. In most of the architecture colleges, no such recruitment is done, students themselves apply for their internship, and further do struggle to find suitable jobs. Sometimes faculty members help...

Overall, I had a good experience here.

Placements: My overall experience here was good. Teachers were very supportive, but there were no campus placements in our course. We had to select an architectural firm on our own for internship as per the criteria provided by the head of the department.

A good college to study, good faculty.

Placements: There were no placements in our department which is a negative point. Also if get a job by ourselves the starting salary in our field as an architect will be 10k (starting). No placements were done in our campus for our department. We as students were free to choose out companies or firms for internship in india or abroad.

Satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: There are no placements. The percentage of students placed is zero. The companies do not come for this course, but the companies can come for other courses like MBA, MCA, etc. The internship is good for our own efforts. There is a placement cell for other courses regarding placements.

Dissatisfied because of college system but happy with surroundings.

Placements: Placement system is quite different in architecture. If you are looking for placement from the college, then it's not the college for you. As in architecture, you can apply anywhere with your portfolio all over the world. There is no limit for sending the portfolio to 1000s of companies. They will pick you up according to your work in the portfolio. The criterion is least dependent on the CGPA. If you have a good sense of practicality with an average CGPA, you can still think of excellent firms....

My college is good for the Architecture course. It provides both theoretical and practical knowledge. It is very strict when it comes to rules and regulations. It has a strict anti - ragging policy and does not have a quota system. The crowd is good and is basically from Delhi and Chandigarh. It also provides hostel facilities. The girl’s hostel for Architecture students is separate and is good. The location of our college is exactly in the jhansla village which is very far away from Chandigarh...

Mostly all the students gets placed in the University.

Placements: In my batch, there are more than 60 students. My course was architecture. The starting average package would be around 4.5 lacs per annum. If you get placed in an MNC which is a mass recruiter like Infosys, you'll probably get around 4 Lacs per annum, on the other hand, companies like Amazon, Flipkart are ready to offer around 5 Lacs per annum.
