Developing engineering college with a good brand.

Placements: The university offers very less placements for B.Tech in civil engineering. Though, there is a common attitude of people that Christ University offers good placements which is not true in the case of engineering students. Students usually check for placements outside the college and try to get job on their own. Very few students gets a job offer via placements.

As an engineering college, Christ University Faculty of Engineering is relatively new as it was only around for the last 7-8 years. However, the college is one that maintains a very high standard for itself and stays true to the principles of the better established Christ University departments. As a student, you are made to work hard and be regular. The college also works on the overall development of soft skills of students to better equip for the outside world. The most impressive aspect of...

It has one of the best campuses in the city with lush greenery, fresh air, excellent building architecture etc. Once you are inside the campus, you don’t feel like leaving it at all. Teachers are excellent with decent academic qualifications. There are excellent labs with amazing facilities. On the other side, the whole college is basically run like a boarding school. There are horrible rules which at times make us feel as if we are in 5th-grade students. The college crowd is not up to the mark....

It is an average college with many rules.

Placements: Almost 80% of students were successfully placed in companies like Microsoft and Wipro. The minimum salary package offered was around Rs. 35,000 per month. The rest of the students were interested in startups. Internship opportunities and information will be provided by the university in the form of workshops, etc.

Satisfied with the staff and the college management, but they put a lot of pressure on students.

Placements: Around 75% of the students got placed. It is compulsory to do an internship, so everyone has to find one. The college provides only a few internship opportunities. So, not everyone can get one from the college itself. They have to search for a good internship on their own.

It is one of the biggest colleges in the state as well as country.

Placements: Christ University is the first Syrian Catholic religious congregation in India, started in 1969. Heavily contented with the college facilities and educational system but not pleased by placements.

Placements: Almost 30% of the students got placed of which the highest package was received by a single student which is about 35,000 per month. Different non-core companies ranging from Decathlon to TCS recruited students. Most of the students who did six months internship instead of final year project got placed in those companies.

Wonderful campus and fun learning here.

Placements: Yes, there is a placement cell in the college which is very efficient and works rigorously to get the maximum number of students placed. Last time almost 85 to 90 percent of the students were placed. All specialisation had good placements and there were openings which students across all specialisation could attend. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, JP Morgan, deloitte, KMPG, HUL and most other mainstream companies regularly visit for placements here.
