Placements: The placement for our batch was not satisfactory. The placement procedure needs to be improved and more companies need to visit the college for the placement purpose. In our batch, almost all the students got placements through off-campus drives. Tech Mahindra visited for placement and there were few more small companies. The college should encourage more companies to visit for placement purpose.

Placements: In today's world, where getting placed from any college is difficult and placement is gradually decreasing, the placement of CIEM is quite better compared to other colleges. The placement report of the year 2016 is 85.7%. The highest package got by a student is 47,000 per month in Zikers. Instead of that, there are more companies like HCL, Indian Army, Wipro, CTS, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Crescent Technosoft, Microtosh and CISPL which take students in a large quantity. Placements: Placements were good in my batch as well as in senior's batch, but year by year it is degrading. Around 55% students got placed. The highest salary offered was 4.8 lakhs per annum while the average package was 3 lakhs per annum. TCS, Cognizant and Wipro were the companies that had come for recruitment. All the students got internship from the college.

Placements: A few of my classmates have been placed but that not in the core companies mainly in the real estate companies. Even our senior batch have not got the proper placement to any core company through our college. We were the 3rd batch of civil department in our college. Placement in civil department is very low yet. The highest salary offered in our department is approximately rupees 20 thousand to 25 thousand per month and the lowest is approximately rupees 5 thousand per month.

Infrastructure is not as good as it’s in the prime location in South Kolkata. System is very poor quality. Most of the teachers don't have motivation. One of the canteen's owner names Noton da shows politics among students. He forces to join in his pg. for those who came from other place to study in this college. A mediocre college situated 5 minutes from Netaji Metro Station in Tollygunje, Kolkata. If you are really interested in pursuing B. Tech and don’t want to explore other options you can go to this option. Placements- DO NOT expect good placements. In our pass out year only 1 good company came in campus, Tech Mahindra. The advertisements are highly exaggerated. Do not believe the ads. Faculty - Faculty members are fairly well however they can sometimes be utterly annoying (only some). Some of them...

Placements: Placements in our college are not that good. Major companies which visit our campus for recruitment drives were fake or were offering the worst range of salaries. There is no recruitment drive in core sectors. Some core companies should visit our campus for recruitment drives to recruit core engineers such as electrical, civil, etc.

Placements: Placement opportunities are not so good in our college, and the only companies that will visit our college are BPO, and hardly companies visit for mechanics and civil branches. Placements are still good for CSE and IT. Once Amazon company visited the campus, and they offered students with a salary package of 6.5 LPA.

Placements: The campus placement should be improved. Hardly few companies come with a very low package/year. You have to find your way out to be placed. I was placed through off-campus. Companies like Tech Mahindra and Mphasis come to the college. Amazon comes, but for support position and all others are very small companies offering less package.
