The college needs to follow the modern education system.

Placements: Although the placement support is not up to the level for core companies, IT companies do visit the campus. The education system is good. There need some changes in the placement system and rules, according to me. Nearly about 30% of the students got placed in core companies, and some of the students opted for higher studies like M.Tech and MBA.

The college has moderate infrastructure.

Placements: Placements for the 2017-18 pass out batch were moderate. About 54% of the students got placed in many reputed companies across the country. The average salary package offered was around 8 LPA. More than 70% of the students from 2nd and 3rd years got internships.

The college provided good experience with great culture.

Placements: It is one of the best colleges in Kolkata in terms of facilities, teaching and infrastructure, but it is not at all good in terms of placements. They do not make any efforts for placements. Only some small companies used to visit the college each year, and they used to select only 5% of the students. The placement cell is good, and the TPO is also very supportive but maximum students remain unemployed each year.

It is a dream college, and it is good.

Placements: The placement cell is very good in our college. It's a placement rate wonderful it is around 98%. Many companies, like TCS, Mahindra, Godrej, etc., visited our campus for placements.

The college is average as events held in our college are not routine.

Placements: Recently, many companies visited the college for placements, and they had a good response. The placement percentage is increasing year by year. The average salary package offered is 1.20 LPA which is satisfactory for me. Generally, telecom companies visit the college to hire students.

I feel happy for studying in CIEM.

Placements: Placements in the college are more or less okay. No good companies have visited our campus. You can say that it is a horrible experience. I saw a few girls getting placed, but not boys. However, some good girls did not get placed too. Some startup companies visited our college and recruited us. The lowest salary package offered was 1.80 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA.

CIE is a semi-government college, and the campus is ragging-free.

Placements: The last two years have been great. Companies like Mahindra have recruited a large number of students from different batches, especially IT and EE. This year, nevertheless recruitment is happening on an average scale, but the packages which are being offered are very less. But, we are definitely looking forward to more good companies and placement opportunities this year and in the coming years.

Educational life in the college is impressive.

Placements: The placements in our college are not that good, but one can enjoy it for a temporary purpose. Some of the students got placed in good MNCs when they opted for off-campus placements. The highest salary offered for engineering students was 3 LPA. Generally, telecom companies visit the college to hire students. A good number of students applied for internships in good MNCs.

This college is not the best, but it is an above average college.

Placements: The placements of the college are not that much good. Sometimes they invite very small companies, and the salary packages offered by these companies are very low. Sometimes fake companies also visit the college. If you want to study, then this college is good. But this is not a good college in terms of placements.

It is a ragging-free college. There are experienced faculty members in the college.

Placements: The last two consecutive years have been fruitful to the students as the placements percentage was very good. Most of my seniors got placed in reputed companies like Mahindra and TCS. At present, we are offered placements from sales and BPO, but we can't deny the fact that most of the students have already been recruited.

Our college is not that good and needs some improvement.

Placements: Students of our senior batch didn't satisfy with the placements of our college. This year, that is, for our batch, lots of companies visited our college for placements. Around 30% to 40% of the students of last semester ((7th and 8th) got placed in the college placements. Companies related to IT, Telecom, civil engineering, and BCA and MBA department visited the college to hire the students. These companies offered the roles like site engineer, junior programmer, sales department, etc. Our colle...

The college with an average infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The placements of the college are not that good. The college needs improvement regarding placements. The degree was important, so there is no problem if you don't get placement from college. But some of my friends are getting a job from our college. I think that the college administrator needs to focus on that matter as it's important.

Satisfied because of faculty.

Placements: We had two on campus drive and two pool campus drive. Crescent Technosoft and Aksara Infotech visited our college. Looking forward for some good companies to come in the near future. We are given industrial readiness training. Hope to implement those knowledge.

Secure your future by choosing CIEM.

Placements: Placements in our college are satisfactory. Students are well-guided by the training and placement cell for their future campusing. Students are taught to cope well with the stress. Students are encouraged to attend the campus drives that lead them to their dream job.

I am satisfied with the faculty members. Really good infrastructure and moderate placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are average, and 60% of the students get jobs from the college. The highest package offered to a B.Tech student is 6 LPA, the lowest is 1.10 LPA, and the average is 3.10 LPA. The college does not spend extra money on placements, and that is why they are still average. Well-reputed companies visit the college to conduct placements.

It has average placement record and the campus is not too large but good.

Placements: This college has an average placement record. In 2018 it gives 86% placement. If the student has a clear basic concept then he/she surely be placed. It is a middle range college so it Provides campusing in the small company. But if anyone wants a great company then he/she can also attend in pool campusing.

The college has more cons than pros.

Placements: The placements in this college are not up to the mark. The college authority invites a few core organisations. Most of the recruiting organisations are BPOs. According to the records, around 85% of the total students got placed this year, but the numbers are different in reality. The salary package lies between 1.44 LPA and 3.30 LPA. Most of the students, those who got selected for a particular post in an organisation after clearing all the rounds of the selection procedure don't get an offer le...

Absolutely satisfied with the facilities, teaching staff and labs.

Placements: The placements are neither good nor bad. Last year, a moderate number of students were placed. Each year, different companies visit the college, and so many of us get placed. Some companies that visit are IBM, Infosys, Godrej, Cognizant, etc. Mostly software companies visit the campus. There is a placement cell where campus interviews are held.

Overall, the campus, faculty and everything is average.

Placements: The placements are not very good. Last year, the college recorded 48% placement. Maximum of the students are unplaced. Local companies visit the campus to conduct placements, but job offers are not good enough. The college doesn't provide any internship. The college is too good for the enjoyment of students.
