Overall, the campus, faculty and everything is average.

Placements: The placements are not very good. Last year, the college recorded 48% placement. Maximum of the students are unplaced. Local companies visit the campus to conduct placements, but job offers are not good enough. The college doesn't provide any internship. The college is too good for the enjoyment of students.

The college is good, and the students must work hard for their career.

Placements: Most of the good companies like Cognizant, Accenture, Genpact, etc., visit our college for placements. Students are being offered jobs with good pay scales. Students are happy with their job offers, and most of them got placed in the places like Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, and many other places.

An average college which is thriving to make a mark.

Placements: The last best placement record was of the year 2010, and after that, the placement record has deteriorated with time. Major placement giants like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Think and Learn, and Infosys visit the campus, but only a few students were recruited. More firms will visit the campus in future.

Very dissatisfied, very bad placement. Overall very bad.

Placements: Very bad college in term of placement. As I remembered 2-3 companies only visit in our college. And they all are BPO's. Like GENPACT, HINDUJA. Package 7k to 9k. Frankly speaking 5-10% students placed. If u really want to study at ciem then don't depends of college placements. All the students depends on pool campusing. I don't know about internship. Yes there is a placement cell. But it is not useful because they don't know anything.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, no good placement, but really good infrastructure.

Placements: I am a student from Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management. Our college is good for fun. But not for studies. With almost no placement. But many students can get scholarships. The companies that visited our college is not up to the mark and the faculty members are not up to the mark as well.

It can be a good option for your career, so good luck.

Placements: Placement of the college not bad. Placement of BCA IT, CSE, EE, much better. And annual package is quite impressive. And companies like infosis, wipro, tsc is regular. Almost 40% students got their internship from college. And there is a placement cell in the college.

In my opinion I never recommend any one to join in ciem.if they think to join ciem then only god sav

Placements: There didn't come any company till last 2 years. They just provide only off campusing. Their infrastructure is poor. They claimed that they will provide 86% placement but they didn't provide. They never tell the truth and claimed that is students fault. Last year some 50 students placed out of 500.

On a short note, the college is above the average, comparing with the other engineering college.

Placements: Placement is not that bad. All the companies coming to the campus, are from IT sector actually. So IT and CSE students get the job before the completion of the course. But most of the companies are new-comer to the industry. Also some start up companies come to college for placement. There are some cases where fake placement allegations are imposed to the college placement officer. But to be honest the placement cell members do a fair job on their half.

I'm statisfied of faculty and good placements in 2017,really good infrastructure and facilities etc.

Placements: Placements are pretty good. Last year it was 86% and hopefully this year will be the same. Last year lots of students got chances in different companies. A lot of companies come to our college like HUAWEI, HCL, NIIT ORACLE, WIPRO, Cognizant, IBM etc.

Placements: They provide average placement for all departmental students. But placements for IT students & CSE students is quite good. They don't provide internship to students. Placements cell is not at all cooperative. 65 percent of students are get placed with in 7th semester. But companies are not so well. There is some fake company also.

The knowledge is a big thing than anything.

Placements: The placements are not very good. Overall placement is 50%, but all placements are based on BPO, and not core based. There were very good opportunities in this college. CSE department is for getting good placements. There are many good companies like Infosys, techmahindra are going to campusing in our college.

Overall it is one of most good college among 40,000/- semester fee colleges.

Placements: Placements of CIEM is quite normal as a good college can conduct at this stage of market. Mainly medium to high value IT based company are come to this college but sometimes CORE companies are here for some fresh or new engineers. However, average of 83.7% placements takes place every year on this college. Last year there is maximum of 3,00,000/- Indian rupee company is conduct a campusing here. They recruits students as maintenance, production engineer and in IT companies they recruits as softw...

Satisfied with the college as it has good placements, infrastructure, and faculty.

Placements: It's a good college for learning engineering course. After completing your course, you can face good companies, mainly Indian the topmost MNCs. I completed my course in 2015, and at that time Tech Mahindra visited the campus in which 52 students were hired with a minimum salary package of 3 LPA. The main thing is every year, 65 students complete their course under tuition fees.

Overall it's a good college to complete your graduation.

Placements: Placement is quite good in our campus. I strongly believe that hard work is the only key to success. Approximately 80 to 95 percentage of students get placed every year. Annual salaries can vary from 2.5 Lacs to 7 Lacs on an average basis. Companies like tech Mahindra, hcl, mu sigma, Ericson, Accenture and many other companies are responsible for the placement. For internship there are many programs organized by our college. One of them is summer training. Of course there is a placement cell whi...

Satisfied with faculty members, good placement, well-equipped lab.

Placements: There is quite a good opportunity for on -campusing. Students have to be well prepared in aptitude and technical knowledge. Even the college provides grooming classes to deal with group discussion and HR round. College sends all the students for pull campusing also. You can get help whenever you need. Don't feel hesitated to consult with college authority.

One of the best organisation in Kolkata welcoming students with a large heart.

Placements: The management of our college is working really hard to bring some multinational companies in the campus. Otherwise, the placement is good for IT groups. Few workshops are being held on the campus to prepare the students for compassion. Good to see that our friends are working in such big companies.

Placements: Placement is good for IT, CSE ECE and electrical department. But there is no placement for civil engineer. Here good companies came for campusing. They offer so many jobs for the students and gives good salaries. Placement cell is there in our college. The faculty of our placement cell is very polite and helpful.
