Decent placement. Good campus. Good faculty.

Placements: The college has an average placement every year. In the year 2016-2017, the placement recorded was 85.7 %. The highest package was Rs. 47000 per month offered by Zycus. The lowest was Rs. 16000 per month The college doesn't always provide good placements. However, most of the students depend on pool campusing. IT departments including CSE, IT, and ECE had a better placement this year compared to other fields like electrical and mechanical.

Average placements, good faculty and nice infrastructure.

Placements: The placements vary from year to year. My previous batch, that is the B.Tech CSE 2013-2017 batch. had around 70% placement. The highest salary offered was 47k per month by Zycus. The companies which mostly come for placement in the college are TCS, Cognizant, Zycus, Infocom and many more. The lowest salary offered was around 12k to 15k. No internship is offered in the CSE branch. There may be internship in the core branches. The IT branches, that are CSE and IT, get placed easily whereas the cor...

MBA marketing based best college.

Placements: In this college, many high salary companies like Cognizant, Wipro, Goibibo and Casio come. Their package starts from 3 LPA and goes to 12 LPA. Our seniors got a job in Cognizant and Casio. Their salary is 4 LPA. In this college, 88% students got placed on the campus. 20% students got jobs from off campus.

The worst college, faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: They do not offer any placements here and they just bluff that 80% students got placed and such. But trust me, neither the faculty team is good nor the placements are good.

Not a good college in terms of teaching, infrastructure, placement and any kind of facilities.

Placements: The placement in this college is very poor. No civil engineering companies come for placement. The placement officer also does not care about all these things. Many times she is not even found in college. One cannot even complain about placement. Only sales, marketing and call centre jobs are offered to civil engineers.

I proudly recommended this college for engineering when compared to other private colleges.

Placements: Around 80%-85% students are placed every year from all the streams. But the percentage of placement is better for IT, CSE and ECE branch as their job are IT based. But EE and CE students are also placed. Last year around 18.5lacs/annum was the highest package. The average package was 2.8-3.5 lacs/annum. Most of the IT based companies like TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, HP, HCL, visited. Although Hindustan Rectifier(core-based company) also visited. It is also a rumor that some BPO based company ...

Good college for studying engineering.

Placements: We all know that nowadays college placements are becoming very poor due to lack of proper jobs and increase of competitive market. But our college has managed to give some placements to well-renowned companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra etc. Out of 120 students in electrical engineering, 39 are placed till now. Many wanted to study more and some are still trying. Our college is trying to give more placements. It is hoped that at least 60% of students will get placed. The highest package is 7 lakh p...

I think this college is better than all other private colleges.

Placements: 90% students of our senior batch have already been placed. The highest package is about 7.84 lakh per annum. The lowest package is 3.8 lakh per annum. All IT companies like Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Infosys come. Many core companies like L&T and Indian Navy also come. They mainly offered packages on an experience basis. 99% students of our senior batch also got internships.

Absolutely not satisfied because the library, common room, faculty, and canteen are not good.

Placements: The placements of this college are very bad. No good companies visit for placement. In 2016, only a few students were placed in Tech Mahindra and the salary offered was not good. The management of this college is not at all helpful during the campus placement. Sometimes fake campus placement happen too.

Memorable and eventful 4 years of my life.

Placements: Numerous companies have come for hiring talent for our batch as well as for the previous batches. In terms of the quality company, there are only a few. Even top end companies are only introduced via pool campusing. Even, the package is not that high, but not as low either.

Degrading year by year, situation needs to be improved.

Placements: Placements were good in my batch as well as in senior's batch, but year by year it is degrading. Around 55% students got placed. The highest salary offered was 4.8 lakhs per annum while the average package was 3 lakhs per annum. TCS, Cognizant and Wipro were the companies that had come for recruitment. All the students got internship from the college.

Mostly dissatisfied because of the placements of our batch in civil department.

Placements: A few of my classmates have been placed but that not in the core companies mainly in the real estate companies. Even our senior batch have not got the proper placement to any core company through our college. We were the 3rd batch of civil department in our college. Placement in civil department is very low yet. The highest salary offered in our department is approximately rupees 20 thousand to 25 thousand per month and the lowest is approximately rupees 5 thousand per month.

It's one of the best colleges of engineering in Kolkata. The placements are good and faculty is amazing. The best thing is the infrastructure. The college offers almost everything one can expect from an engineering college. The annual cultural fest of the college called "Celsius" is a massive fest which has witnessed celebrities like Agni band, Euphoria, etc. Overall, my experience in the college was worthwhile in every sense.

CIEM is situated in the metro route and is at a walking distance from the Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station. It has a decent campus for a metropolitan city, having 4 blocks, 2 canteens, a playground and a library. The college offers B. Tech in 5 streams, BBA, MBA and BCA. Many faculty members are very good and helping. The campus culture too is very good and there are regular events like college fests etc. However in terms of placements, this college can invite IT sector companies but there was no c...

Infrastructure is not as good as it’s in the prime location in South Kolkata. System is very poor quality. Most of the teachers don't have motivation. One of the canteen's owner names Noton da shows politics among students. He forces to join in his pg. for those who came from other place to study in this college. College authority doesn’t take any action in this matter. Some labs have not proper facilities. Many computers, keyboards, mouse are broken. I think personally this college should be mo...

Excellent location. But unable to utilize it. Not just little better than bad. When no other college you get admission then go for it. Campus infrastructure and surroundings are good. Campus recruitment is not satisfactory. Easily accessible. Connected through all modes of transport available in Kolkata.

Very good in terms of education. Good faculties and good laboratory facilities. Big green clean wifi campus in a very prominent location. Poor, very poor in terms of placements. TPO i.e. the training and placement officer post is vaccant. Administrative officer is a worthless dishonest person and ruining the college alone.

The college was good with good faculties. Due to the small campus size, only a few events takes place in the college. The location of the college is good, near to the metro station. Inside the college few extra curriculum activities takes place every year which are entertaining and with lots of excitement among the students, for e.g. like: - football, volleyball and small pitch cricket.
