The companies were not ready to hire mechanical students, maybe now we can expect the placements as the college has now grown well.

I am dissatisfied. No placements. I would never prefer to take admission in this college.
Placements: Only 10% of students were placed. The highest salary package is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package is 1.5 LPA. Living Samsung, there are no other good companies. They offered a salesman post to Computer Science students. There is no internship at this college. Fewer students got placed.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the whole campus. There is no canteen in the whole college. Infrastructure is poor. The college building was built 17 years ago. No good fans. No good projectors. No good sports essentials. There are no sports in college, just reading. No good facilities in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers were not helpful. Teachers don't know how to teach. We do not understand the syllabus taught by them. Studying in this low-quality college is a waste of money. Semester exams here do not go in the right way. They give value to influenced students only.
Other: I took this course under my parents' pressure. The course is the same as Computer Science. I would prefer to take Computer Science instead of Information Science. There are no extracurricular activities in the college. There is only one fest, and it lasts for only two days.

Fostering problem solvers .
Placements: As there is a global recession, the placements are quite good, still depending upon the students and how much effort they put in. Just like any other college in Bangalore, recruiting companies are the same. Well, that doesn't include FAANG or similar companies but yes, companies like Accenture and others are recruiting. However, the recruitment rate isn't that much; again, the reason is recession. Based on what i can recall, i think the average package offered in ISE is 6-7 LPA. The lowest may range from 3 LPA and highest may peak at 12 LPA
Infrastructure: The facilities are really good. First of all, the campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are good with projectors and so is the library. Both the classrooms and library are spacious. You will find a lot of books in the library, be it in your curriculum or not. The environment of the library is very serene, with good lighting as well as natural lighting. I would say it's the best place you will find on campus. Regarding the hostel, the hostel is also wifi enabled and ROs are installed on every 2 floors. Students don't have to worry about power outages as there will be a power bank system for the hostel. For the laundry, students do have to pay around a sum of 5000 INR annually. The mess food is good. Non-vegetarian is also served once every week in lunch. The only thing is that for some students from north India, they will have difficulty adapting to the South Indian food as mostly South Indian is served.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Teachers will be sharing notes also. For every semester you'll be having 2 internal assessments, earlier which was 3. I have VTU-affiliated exams so for us semester exams are of good difficulty. However, as the college has become autonomous, I really don't know about the difficulty of exams.
Other: This course is what was in my interest. The best thing about this course is that it makes students industry-ready. Regarding the events, there are many, including ethnic day and fests include chiguru. In the campus surrounding there's a good market, including tiffin service providers. The college is promoting extracurricular activities and also have student clubs, including Microsoft Student club.

Please look for a better college than this.
Placements: The top recruitment company is TCS, which is providing an average package of 3.2 LPA. They are also doing fake advertisements; don't believe in such claims. The highest package offered was 8 LPA. They are not able to bring any good companies to the college, so they are doing fake advertising.
Infrastructure: The boys' hostel is locked after 9:30 PM, and the girls' hostel is locked exactly at 7 PM. There is no hostel life—just a single building and nothing else. The Wi-Fi is also poor, so I haven't taken a hostel room and am staying in a PG, which is far better than it. They are charging 130,000 and 160,000 per year for 3 and 2 sharing rooms. You can choose a PG for half of that amount.
Faculty: There are four exams and three labs for eight subjects in a single semester. Sometimes it's impossible to handle the pressure. They have added subjects like Biology, Scientific Foundation of Health, and Indian Constitution, which is simply a waste of valuable time for students. Instead of that, they should give some time to students to focus on their skills.
Other: This college is just taking money and looting parents, especially those from North India. They are charging more than twice the amount compared to Karnataka students.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college, especially with the HOD of the ECE department.
Placements: Placements are the worst, especially for ECE, MECH, and CIVIL. The HOD of ECE doesn't support students in seeking internships outside the college; it's always about internal internships. They should understand that students need the opportunity to learn outside the classroom instead of sitting in rooms all the time.
Infrastructure: The library is somewhat decent, but the college hostels are terrible. The food is the same every week, with no hospitality or culture of communication. It's frustrating when the HOD doesn't even provide a seat for a parent during visits, especially when they are paying so much. The respect given is not acceptable at all.
Faculty: The faculty members are not bad, but the HOD is the worst. The current HOD speaks rudely to parents regarding fees, without regard for the fact that they are girls. They are disrespectful, and the department does not allow for self-development, often demotivating students with their negative comments. They should learn to respect parents, as everyone deserves self-respect. ECE is the worst department; all other departments seem better. I strongly advise against joining ECE; it is the worst department.
Other: There are no fests or activities, especially within the department. The HOD has issues with everything; he only cares about attendance and shows no concern for students' lives. Not even a penny is worth spending here.

CIT, best college in Bangalore for engineering
Placements: About 70% of the students from 7th semester are placed in this academic year and the average package is 12LPA(lakhs per annum. The highest package was 27LPA. The recruitment companies include Samsung, Microsoft, Infosys, etc. Over 50 companies come into college for campus drive.
Infrastructure: CIT main campus is wi-fi enabled campus. The faculties eagerly wait to solve any doubts for the students. The weekly assessments are taken by every student every week for each subject. Labs are well facilitated with latest equipment's for the laboratory. Hostel experience is not good because food quality is low comparing to PG's nearby.
Faculty: The teaching staff are well qualified as well as well experienced in their particular fields. They give us real time projects to be performed. The semester exams are highly difficult and requires lot of understanding and knowledge to conquer the problems in the semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I had good amount of knowledge about programming and mathematics as well. We have weekly assessments which actually covers entire week with tests we don't get enough time to skim through the subjects we are actually week in. The major fest in CIT is CHIGURU which showcases the talents of youngsters. The event is held every year in the month of November and the preparation for the fest begins in the month of October.

Overall it can be considered as an Average college in all departments and improvements can be done.
Placements: Cambridge institute of technology offers diverse placement offers, all courses offered here an good placement rate. Especially CSE and ECE department have a good placement history. The average package offered was 7 Lacs and the highest Offer to CSE was 21 Lacs.
Infrastructure: All the required infrastructures are available and all the facilities are provided. Every thing is upto date and labs are also equipped with advanced technologies. Hostel facilities are also nice, food is also good and people living there experience a studious environment.
Faculty: Teachers are highly educated and are good in their work. Teaching skills and interactive with students by teachers is very nice. All the curriculum in course is relevant expect SCR, NSS and like such activities. But there are too many exams in one semester we don't get sufficient time for us.
Other: Fest could be improved and there are too many exams.
