I would recommend students to not join this college because there are no placements.
Placements: Placements are not at the rate. But knowing it is better to choose this college. The highest salary pacakge offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered is 2.50 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered is around 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Bosch, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, and TCS. Around 80% of students get internships, and the companies are Zoomcar, Swiggy, Zomato, IBM, and Capgemini.
Infrastructure: There will be Wi-Fi at any time all over the campus, laboratories will be there for computer science students, classrooms are not a good and a wide variety of books in the library is available. There is no hostel in this college, sports will be there twice a week but students do not have a ground, but they have a lot of indoor games to play.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and how they approach and teaching level are great. Every lecturer is highly qualified, and they teach students the soft skills and they will take students to industrial visits. It is under Bangalore University so they will prepare the semester exam question papers. But the internal exams are very tough and great to learn from them and upgrade students for semester exams.
Other: Nowadays IT is booming and it is going to be the number 1 employment for everyone. It is a good course to learn skills and manage subject and deepening of content. Every week they will conduct events, fests and they will collaborate with other great companies for seminars, connectivity. There are great extracurricular activities students can see on the campus and students will enjoy the activities that they will be doing.

I'm dissatisfied with the teachings, and they are not responsible.
Placements: Our batch is good, but there are only 26 total students in that. Even 10-15 students will attend classes. Others have not yet seen their teachers. Education is not of high quality here; it's below average. If a student study by himself, then they can pass or else definitely fail. Courses are not completed as they skip the chapters.
Infrastructure: There are no special facilities. Labs are available here, but not that good. It is just okay. Most systems are old and not working properly. They get stuck. Hostel, canteen, medical facilities are not available here. Sports and games are there. Wi-Fi connections are there, but not for students. Classrooms are cleaned every week, not daily. The library is available but of no use.
Faculty: Teachers here are not helpful. They are qualified but not knowledgeable. The teaching quality is poor. They don't give proper notes. They just ask students to copy from old notes or search on the internet and write. There is no proper time table, and teachers are not on time to class. If any student asked a doubt, they would try to skip that doubt.
Other: BCA offers good job opportunities. I'm interested in coding. The college is good in looking but no proper teaching staff. Activities are too less here.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: Above 70-75% of the students can get an internship in companies like Infosys, Oracle and other software companies with good salary packages where you can start your career with good income. If students of the BCA course score above 70%, then they can get a job in good companies.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good library, classrooms, labs, etc. The library has a lot of books to gain knowledge and to study. Classrooms are very convenient for students to study peacefully, and there are labs to do practical work. Sports held here are good to boost students.
Faculty: Teachers help a lot and are very friendly in every aspect, like clearing doubts, etc. This course makes students industry-ready.
Other: I am highly satisfied with this course. I have chosen this course because I want to become a software developer and for my better future. The best thing about this course is we can learn a lot about technologies and further developments. Our college not only provides us with good studies but also conducts events to boost us.

It is a good college for gaining knowledge.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is very good. Many of our seniors get placed every year, and many renowned companies come and give opportunities to us. Many students from our college get placed in Wipro, Infosys and well-reputed IT companies.
Infrastructure: Our college has a huge library with all necessary collection of books along with a digital library to access all the needy books. It has well-updated labs for all the streams. Lifts for students and faculty members are under process. Canteen facilities are available near our college.
Faculty: All the faculty members here are well-qualified and know the way of teaching very well. Faculty members are very supportive, and students can discuss their problem without hesitation with faculty members. The communication gap is almost negligible not only the ACA.
Other: I have chosen this course because our course costs Rs. 78,000 per year and all the facilities provided to me makes it a great value for money. It is a nominal fee considering such huge benefits being offered. Campus life is full of enjoyment, and students get many opportunities to take participate in events. Faculty members are very supportive of students.

Highly satisfied with infrastructure, facilities and faculty members.
Placements: The college has very good placement support for the students of various streams. The students are trained for the interviews. During the 5th semester, 72% of my batchmates were able to clear the interview process and got their offer letter.
Infrastructure: Our college has a very big library with all the required subject-related textbooks, reference books and also various other journals and magazines. The campus provides a Wi-Fi facility for both faculty members and students. College also has a computer lab with all required supportive equipment and software.
Faculty: All the teachers are very supportive and friendly. They are always there for the students and help us in projects, conducting events, preparing for exams, attending fests etc. Apart from the course, matrix teachers help us in gaining practical exposure through industrial visits and outbound activities.
Other: Our college has a big list on its calendar of events apart from examination and other general festival celebrations. They conduct various events like Business Bazaar, Ninad, management games, forum activities, sports events etc.

{Source: B.Com students & alumni}

Here's a summary of the key points:

* Placements: While placements are decent, with around 50% of students getting placed in companies like Infosys, HP, Oracle, TCS, Dell, etc., the salaries are relatively lower, ranging from INR10,000 to INR50,000 per month, with an average salary of INR30,000.
* Faculty: Faculty members are generally considered helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive, providing guidance throughout the program.
* Course Curriculum: The course curriculum is deemed relevant and makes students industry-ready.
* Infrastructure: Although there are no significant issues with infrastructure, there is no canteen within the college premises, and students need to venture out to nearby areas for basic necessities.

* Student Life: Students enjoy a range of extracurricular activities and events organized by the college, making it a vibrant academic environment.
* Internships: Around 25% of students receive internships, with some notable companies participating in the internship programs.

While City College Bangalore may have its limitations, it seems to offer a reasonable education experience for B.Com students. However, it's essential to weigh these positives against the drawbacks, such as limited infrastructure and relatively lower salaries.

Conclusion: Based on the reviews, City College Bangalore appears to be a suitable option for those interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). While it's essential to consider individual preferences and priorities, this institution offers a solid foundation for a successful career in commerce-related fields.
