I am absolutely satisfied with the facilities.

Placements: About 70% of the students from our college get placed. It is a very nice college for this course, and placements are also very good. The average salary package offered in this course is very less compared to other courses. I got a very nice placement from City College, and I am always thankful for it.

Review of City College, Kolkata.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students from our course were placed. A business manager is one of the roles that would be offered to 90% of the students of our course, but it was offered when no company was recruiting students from our college. Top roles offered are CA, and banking roles are offered in our course.

The college has very good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Many students have their placements. The minimum salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Students can easily go for the teaching line and also in various government jobs. In this course, we did not get an offer from companies, but we can apply in various fields of jobs, mostly in the Bio-Science scenario. Besides that, we can easily opt for any forest service exams and environmental programs.

City College is the best college.

Placements: Placements in our college are poor till now, but from now, extra efforts are made from the college. They provide the best company for students and better opportunities. The salary package offered is almost good and acceptable. Companies which visited here for placements are Byju's, Wipro, Tata, TCS, etc. Many students got placed in a dream placement in companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.

Placements: About 11% of the students in our college study mathematics Honours. The highest salary offered is 1 lac per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Tata Consultancy Services and Cognizant visited our campus for placements. The college administration is very helpful and supportive.

Placements: Placements are not offered by City College administration. Hence I do not have anything to say about my college or course regarding this field. Internships are not offered.

Infrastructure and atmosphere of the college is really good.

Placements: As it is a government sponsored college, it doesn’t provide placements. But it conducts seminars for our future career development. In addition, some experts are being called in seminars for career counselling. There is no such thing called placement in our college. The degree you collect from here after passing, heads to offer top roles.

The City College is the college of the city.

Placements: The college was accredited with Calcutta University, and it is situated at the heart of the city. The location of this college is accessible from all the ends. Faculty of the college always shows their kind attitude towards the students. As it is a government college, it is not that much costly. A student can continue his studies at about Rs. 5,000 in a year. After three years of completion, you can go for the master degree if your result stands 60% and above.

I would rate this college 2.5 out of 5, and I was a bit dissatisfied.

Placements: City College of Commerce and Business Administration is situated in the heart of Kolkata, i.e., College Street. The college is an evening college and the day college is named Umes Chandra. However, both of them are the same except for the management and the working committee. College doesn't provide any placements. People who aim to be a CA and want to skip the pressure of moving to college daily can opt for this college. Stay away from the party and politics of this college.

Most respected college in Kolkata.

Placements: The placement our college is very good. Big companies visit our campus with good packages. Placement is almost 95%. We get on campus internships which help us alot. We also get major positions in big companies. Our placement department works really hard to achieve their goals.

I am satisfied with the college management work, good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Students got internships from college. They were given the roles of sales trainee with an average stipend of Rs. 9,000-10,000 per month. Insurance companies, mutual fund companies and stockbroking houses offered jobs as a sales trainee, assistant sales managers, etc. Many students who completed masters of art sections were offered jobs as teachers in schools.

My review regarding what I felt.

Placements: Not much placement were offered. I have never seen any good companies from last 2 years. The percentage of the students placed is nearly 10 to 15 percent. There is no internship programmes. The campus was not worth if a person wants a proper Bachelor degree.

An average College at low fees.

Placements: There is no support about placements or internships. You will not receive any help about this from college. So placements is very poor. Zero percent students get placements every year. Not a single student even the topper doesn't get any help. So don't expect anything.

It is the most prestigious college.

Placements: The college provides good placements, especially in the science stream. Companies located in Salt Lake offered jobs for students. Total placed students statistics is not known to me. However, students who secured 1st division or above were placed in various company. Salary structure is different for the various students. However, the least salary offered is Rs.15, 000 per month. Companies like TCS, Dabur, etc., visit the campus for placements. The roles in accounts, marketing, etc., are offered....

There is no college life, but if you just wish to get a degree, then it's a good college.

Placements: I haven't heard about placements yet, thus you can understand the status of placements provided by the college. Our seniors were just indulged in the union. There are hardly any placements for undergraduate courses. Moreover, neither the college nor the students mention anything about placements. So, if someone wishes to get placed after the undergraduate course, they shouldn't opt for City College.

Dissatisfied with the placement procedure.

Placements: Placements are not up to the mark. Very few placements opportunities are there. But yes from a few years college has started inviting recruiters. But the ratio of students to placement is very low. Jobs that are offered are mainly based on sales and data entry but compared to the market conditions salaries offered are very low.

My college is the best and it will be the best in the future as well.

Placements: It was a great experience when I got placed in Genpact from my college. About 70% students got placed in various companies. They were satisfied with the pay scale they got. One of my friends got 5 lakhs annually from a company. Everyone was placed as an accountant in various companies. Companies which visited our college are Capgemini, PWC and British Telecom.
