Review of CMR College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA. The average salary package offered is 17 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Adobe, etc. Almost 75% of students got internships. Top roles offered are software developer, etc. If a student maintains a decent CGPA can get a good placement.

Infrastructure: All facilities are good. Our library is one of the best libraries in Hyderabad. Labs are in good condition, but a few systems do not work. Wi-Fi is adequate and provided whenever required. Classrooms are digital and in good condition. The hostel facility is average. Canteen is good, and they provide a variety of food items. The food served in the canteen is very good. Our college has its hospital for emergencies. Sports and games are good.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and friendly. They always clear our doubts. A few are not very recommended and not that pleasant to be around. They conduct mid-exams and assignments. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not difficult if we study well. The pass percentage is 70%.

Other: Our college conducts sports and games.

Placements: In our college, more than 70% of students are placed. The salary offered is Rs.80,000 to Rs.100000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, HCl Technologies, etc., visit our campus. Almost 60-70% of students get internships at Wipro, Infosys, etc.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available in our college like the library, digital classrooms, Wi-Fi, labs, and good education. In the lab, all facilities are available, including good furniture, etc. The hostel has good food, neat rooms with beds, and medical facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. They have good knowledge of things like digital techniques and any other related topics that will explain good teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant and ready to make you industry-ready. There are no difficulties in semester exams.

Other: Our course is more important for software jobs. They organise events and festivals for students on campus. Campus crowd and scholarships are available at our college.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Capgemini, Cognizant, HCL, etc. The least salary package offered is 4 LPA. Training department guides students on how to crack good packages.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are well furnished, and the library is excellent. There is a good Wi-Fi connection in the laboratory and library. The library is also well furnished, and the environment is peaceful and pleasant. Students can also get books for any course. If once students entered the library, then they will not leave.

Faculty: The teaching is good in this college. Teachers are friendly and highly qualified. They prepare students very well. The examinations are tough, and it depends on the subject otherwise students can score good marks at the end semester. The results of these exams are given in college software.

Other: I opted for this information technology course, because many jobs are provided.

Overall, the college is beautiful.

Placements: The placements are good in our college. Most of the students got placed on-campus, which start from the 3rd year 2nd semester. There is a training and placement cell that carries the campus training. Most of the multinational companies like Amazon, IMB, Wipro, Infosys, etc., come to college and secure students based on their CGPA and marks obtained from tests which are taken by them. The minimum package offered is 3.5 LPA. It varies from student to student based on their performance. There should be a minimum CGPA of 7.5 or 75%. The maximum package is 44 LPA. It increases yearly by the performance of students.

Infrastructure: The college also provides hostel facilities for students, and the fee is 80,000 per year. There is no problem with food and accommodation. It has indoor games in the hostel. It is secured by a security guard. If you can't afford the hostel fee, you can also take private hotels nearby the college, which is 4,500 per month. It is a room shared by 4-5 members. The quality of food will be changed from one hostel to another.

Faculty: Each section has students, more likely 60-66. For a section, each subject has a faculty-student ratio of 1:60. The faculty are well educated. They hold Masters, and some of the professors have doctorates. It is enough for students to study from them, and they have a vast experience of 15-20 years in teaching. Every year is divided into 2 semesters, and each semester has 2 mid-term exams. There are a total of 4 years, with 8 semesters, and 16 mid-terms exams. Each semester has 4-5 subjects and 3-4 labs. We have one internal and one external lab exams every semester.

Other: I chose information technology because it is one of the courses that has a bright future and provides more chances to get a job.

Placements: Nearly 70% of students get placed in different companies like Amazon, Capgemini, Cognizant, M Phasis, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc., where they are placed in roles like software engineer, system engineer, power programmer, data analyst, system analyst, developer, etc. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA for CSE students in Amazon and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Placement training starts from the 1st semester to the third year for all branches where students get skilled up in coding, communication skills, and leadership with certifications.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The classrooms are cool and spacious. The library and labs are good. The hostel facilities are also good. For sports lovers, there is a huge ground as well as an indoor stadium. Badminton courts, gym, and table tennis are of high quality. The auditorium is also good in this college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful to the students. Even the management provides mentors for every 6 students of every batch such that a teacher can individually care for each student. I would rate 3 out of 5 for the teaching. The course curriculum is 60% relevant and it makes students industry-ready. There is no difficulty in semester exams.
