Based on the people mindset and really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements in our college are quite moderate. 20% of the students per class got placed in various companies like GGk technology, Amazon, etc. The minimum salary was 1.5 lakhs per annum, and the maximum salary that our friends got was 4.0 lakhs per annum. GGK Technology, Amazon, Just dial, Surya Technologies, UX reactor, Uber, Media Mint, Libsys, Genpact, etc. The customer service, tech support are the roles provided to the students. 2% of the students got the internship from the college. Absolutely satisfied by my college.

Placements: The placements in the college are good, but they are more for the IT and the CSE branches. All the students who don't have backlogs are eligible for the placements, and many seniors had also got the placements. There will be very good learning from the teachers and they also instruct us all about the interviews and placements. Also instructing us on how to be in the presence of them, and to maintain the discipline.

A good college for the placements.

Placements: It is a good college with a maximum number of placements in MNCs like Cognizant, Capgemini, Amazon, Virtusa, CSC, IBM, Infosys, TCS, etc. The placement training will be provided for every individual student by the experienced trainers. The internships are provided in various companies like DRDL, JETL, BHEL, etc.

A simple and enjoyable college.

Placements: Last year, many students were selected for the campus placement from around 200 students. From the second year onwards, training will be started for the campus placement. There will be good training for the technical and the non-technical skills and even too many communication skills. Even from the third year, many students are selected for the campus placements. But here, in the third year, there is no internship. But the placements are guaranteed.

Satisfied with our college in 2016

Placements: There are better opportunities for placements through CMREC. Lots of opportunities are given by this college. Lots of placements are available in big companies as we may get a job in a big company with a good package. There is a separate placement cell in our college. The interviewers will come to our college every month to inspect the students. They give students some instructions and precautions on how to get placed in a big company with a good package.

Dissatisfied in last year, but felt just satisfied this year.

Placements: The placements for our batch are good. Above 40% of the students got placed. The highest package offered is 8 LPA and the lowest package offered is 1.5 LPA. Amazon, Capgemini, Toyota, Microsoft, Google visited the campus. More companies are about to come this year. In next 3 years, almost all main companies may have their eyes on our college.

I'm lucky to be part of CMR engineering college. A soft-hearted Management with a great experience!

Placements: We have an abundant set of placement facilities and the companies which visit our college are top MNCs. Some of the companies like Tech Mahindra and Capgemini recruit high in number around 100-150 and my seniors batch; they were around 100-120 members placed from various streams of B.Tech. Our college has placements for M.Tech and B.Tech also. The highest package offered was 5.3 LPA. The average salary was 3.5 LPA.

Placements: For my senior batch, the students got excellent companies. 80 percent of the students got placed in a company. The highest package is 22 lakhs per year, and the lowest package is 3 lakhs per year. Many companies like Amazon, Wipro, Genpact, etc. have visited.

College with good placements. Students got placed in top MNCs.

Placements: Placements of the mechanical branch are slightly less as compared to other branches, however, some of the IT recruiters are also recruiting mechanical students. In the mechanical branch, 50% of students were placed in different sectors. The highest salary offered is 4 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. Many companies visited like Tech Mahindra, Hyundai, Accenture, Thermax, Justdial, Infosys, Unisys, HTC and much more. These companies are recruiting mechanical branch students. ...

We have a good infrastructure with so many facilities.

Placements: The placement for our batch is excellent. We got better placements compared to our seniors. About 90 students were selected this year. The highest package is 5.4 LPA and the lowest package is 1.9 LPA. The companies that visited are Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Genpact, Effectronics, HCL etc. They offered the role of developer, designers, etc. based on their skills. 50% students got an internship.

Satisfied up to some extent. The management is money-minded.

Placements: About 35 to 40% of the students are placed in our college. Normal companies are recruiting the students of our college. Placement training programs conducted in our college are not 100% effective and no continuous sessions are taken. A week before, the training will be conducted. Only quick learners are able to understand the training programs, rest of the people are unable to understand the training. The training program is good but the time period is very short. I am satisfied with my college because of good infrastructure, good placements, transport facility.

Placements: Placements in my college are good. This year, more than 65% students are placed. Highest package - 6.2L per annum. Lowest package - 1.3L per annum. Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Genpact, etc. were the companies that came. Some hired for technical domain and some for voice process. No internship was provided by the college.

Disappointed because of faculty and no extra curricular activities.

Placements: Many reputed companies like Amazon, L&T, Accenture, HCL and many more recruit students from various departments. Maximum package offered till date is 8 lakhs per annum and the lowest package offered is down to 2 lakhs per annum. However, placement is purely based on individual students talent and college doesn't play any role in assuring students of the job. Hardly 20% of the students get placed every year. So far only one company named UTL offered students internships. ...

"Gender bias" is the main thing in our department.

Placements: Our seniors got placed in Tech Mahindra, Capgemini and other companies. The highest salary paid is 14 lakhs per annum sponsored by Amazon. The least is 2.5 lakhs per annum. We won't get many opportunities for internships but we have to try it outside the campus.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, a good number of placements.

Placements: We have good training sessions conducted from the second year onwards. This led our college to be the best in placements. They also support us a lot. Even in the condition of fewer placements in the market, we got a good number of placements. They give us training before every company visit. They make us well prepared.

It was a good place to study.

Placements: The placements in my college were not bad. I would give 6 out of 10 for the placements in my college. 35% of the students were placed from our batch. The average salary is 20k to 25k per month. Few IT MNCs and BPO companies visit our campus. The roles they offer to students are that of a software engineer, technical support executive, customer support seller etc.

CMR group of colleges are very strict and coming to CMR engineering college, the only good thing we saw was the infrastructure. The CMR campus is big. The classes are good but overall the infrastructure is not modern completely. No projector to aid the teachers in classroom. The labs are just average. Internet is not available to the students. The library is very small. Here students are forced to buy stationary, drafter and calculators from the college store and they are charged excessively higher. 2-3 professors out of 6 in a department are good.
