Is CMREC the best choice? A student’s honest review.
Placements: Around 80-90% of the students are placed. The highest range of package in our college is nearly 30 LPA-50 LPA or more, especially in the top-tier tech companies, consulting firms, or high demand sectors. The average package is 7 LPA-10 LPA and the least is 4 LPA-6 LPA. For the CSE recruiting companies such as Google, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure maintained in the college is very good. Coming to the labs, classes, and library, all good facilities are maintained. In the hostel, all the good facilities are provided. The quality of the food is very good and strict maintenance of outer and visiting will be provided, and cleanliness is maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly in sharing the knowledge. They teach in a very good way, where all will be helpful during exams. All the important classes will be taught by the teachers. Every semester will be different; some will not be hard, and some will not be easy according to how the teachers teach us. The pass percentage for every semester will be above 90%.
Other: I have chosen CSE for improving my skills in the computer background field. Choosing this course will teach you many things about the development of skills in the journey of the computer engineering field. The fests in CMR Engineering College are very good. All the events will be celebrated in a very enjoyable way.

Exploring the campus life.
Placements: Most of the students are placed in the CSE course, like 80%. The highest package is 44 lakhs, the lowest package is 4 lakhs, and the average package is 6-7 lakhs. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and Cognizant. Only a few percent, that is 30%, got internships, and I can say that we are still trying and applying.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our college are good. There are sufficient labs, neat classrooms, and a library. The facilities in the hostel are average, with no proper food and sometimes no proper neatness in the rooms. Other facilities like the canteen and medical support are good. The college management supports games, sports, and provides efficient facilities.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are well-qualified and helpful. Only some of the teachers teach well. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. It mostly makes the students ready for the industry. Sometimes the semester exams are easy, and sometimes they are hard. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I have chosen Computer Science and Engineering because I'm interested in coding and technical skills. The best things about our course are that the college management also focuses on coding and technical skills by providing several training sessions for us. Other activities like events and fests are also good. The campus crowd is average, and the surroundings are clean and green. They also help us with scholarships and career guidance.
