Review of CMR Institute of Management Studies.
Placements: The placements were good. I got an offer letter from McKinsey with 4.5 Lacs per annum. The top companies that recruited students were McKinsey, E&Y, Amazon etc. Everyone in our batch got an internship, and few had problems due to the pandemic. Even those problems were solved by our college.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi for students. The classrooms are decent. Washrooms are clean. The library is huge but has more books on law. I have no idea about the hostel because I never stayed in our college hostel. Canteen food is average, but there are many hotels outside the campus that are good and affordable. The college is under renovation, and they are painting the whole campus.
Faculty: The teachers for our batch were quite helpful and knowledgeable. In fact, they helped us during our internships by telling us how to attend the interview, behave, and deal with things. The course is the same as Bangalore University with little changes. Exams are competitive. I have no idea about the pass percentage.
Other: I chose Bachelor of commerce. This course is a whole of what you need to know. I wish the college had a fest, as there is not even one fest conducted, including other colleges as well.

Review of CMR Institute of Management.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any good placements. It is a very bad college, and I am sure you will never get placed if you join this college. No good companies visit the college for placements. Many bad companies visit the college to recruit students and the salary package offered is very bad. Studying at this college is a waste of time.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not at all good. Washrooms are pathetic and dirty. They are stinky all the day. The college is in the middle of a residential area, so we aren't allowed even to shout or have fun on the campus. The college don't even have a proper ground. The campus is very small.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are bad. They treat us like school students. They don't give us the freedom to do anything. No good teacher can teach the subject well. All the teachers available in the college are average. They just come to the class and leave. They don't teach anything. The students should study on their own.
Other: The cultural events that are conducted in the college are not good. The college celebrates a few festivals on multiple requests from students.

The faculty members are good.
Placements: There are many companies which are coming for placements. And, there are many more companies to come. The companies which come for placements are giving good annual packages. The freshers can have good careers. It helps you to find good jobs while all the reputed companies come for placements.
Infrastructure: Our college was awarded the best infrastructure in 2012 and 2013. It has a basketball court and can play all the time. We have canteen facilities. We can't sit on the campus for long period of time. The teachers will not allow the students to sit there.
Faculty: The faculty members are good. But, not all the faculty members are up to the mark. The teachers are helpful. The visiting faculty members are the worst in this college. The extracurricular activities while teaching are done. The fests in our college are done yearly. They regularly collect the money for everything. They even take money for freshers day and our own graduation day. They take money from every student for each and every program happening in the college.
Other: The events, fests, sports day, etc., are conducted in the college.

The college lacks infrastructure, faculty, and most importantly placements.
Placements: The placements offered in this college are below average. Initially, they boasted of having a tie-up with over 400 companies and at least 50 of them visit for the campus placements. But it's been eight months, and only 4-5 companies have visited the campus. The average package offered is 1.7-2 lacs per annum. The highest was offered by Deloitte which was 3.3 lacs per annum, but none got through the first round. They conduct an internship drive but only startups show up, and the roles are related to the customer services, which is nowhere related to what we study.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi facility but doesn't allow the students to use it. Even on their laptops. The classrooms and the washrooms are dirty all around the year. Only the ground floor of the college (admin floor) will be clean to attract newcomers. The canteen is decent enough and hygienic. The hostel is also substandard. The library contains books from ages ago, and you won't find any updated books in it.
Faculty: Only about 20-30% of the faculty members have the actual knowledge about the subjects. Rest of them are either graduates or postgraduates from the same college who joined after completing their degree, and they lack in English proficiency. The course is outdated. They teach with presentations prepared at five years ago. No Industry exposure provided. No interactive sessions an same old classroom sessions.
Other: The crowd in the college will demotivate you to the core. If you are someone who's enthusiastic and eager to learn, then you would find this college disheartening. The
events are a rare sight. The fest takes place once every two years. Don't fall for the Rs. 25,000 scholarship scam which they tell to every student who joins. You won't get a single penny after getting your admission.
No encouragement for extracurricular activities.

Other: This college has an excellent infrastructure with an exhaustive library. The faculty members are experienced and highly interactive. The college gives the opportunities to students to participate in extracurricular activities. In the second year, students are sent for an internship for a few months. The fees are quite and affordable.
