A positive and electrifying atmosphere for students to develop themselves.
Placements: The college provides top placements in various leading companies such as EY and DE Shaw, and the recruitment percentage is also high, encouraging students to develop themselves as much as possible. The top roles offered are at the managerial level.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in my college is amazing, as it has everything a student needs on campus. A stationery shop, a canteen, world-class libraries, and excellent sports facilities are available to students, which really helps them thrive in their college life.
Faculty: The faculty in my college are highly qualified and well-experienced, holding PhDs and doctorates. There are also new teachers who learn from the experienced faculty, creating an excellent work environment that enhances teaching.
Other: I chose the B.Com course because I have a keen interest in accounting. Overall, the college excels in balancing academics, fests, and sports, making it one of the best in the city without a doubt.

    St. Joseph’s University review.
Placements: Nearly 40% of students are placed. The top recruiting companies are EY, PWC, Deloitte, Accenture, and Ditto. The college does not provide internships, so we have to find our own. The top roles offered by our course are finance accountant, sales, and marketing.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a digital library, wifi, canteen, and laboratories. We also have many fests, including inter and intra-college sports days. If you win in a sport or are first in a competition, you get credits and free attendance for that hour. The college also has medical facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly and supportive. They emphasize practical experience by encouraging students to come up with business ideas and present them. This helps prepare students for the industry. The semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is above 80%.
Other: I chose this course because I like accounts. The college offers a variety of events, including Pratibha Visages Tharang, Onam Celebration, and Intzar College Fest. The college campus is plastic-free, and they provide management scholarships every semester.

A great college with excellent faculty.
Placements: As I am from St. Joseph College, 78% of students have been placed in more companies. The highest package offered is 42 Lacs, and the lowest is a 12 Lacs package in our B.Com course. The recruiting companies include Infosys, IBM, SAP, IndoMIM, and more. 54% of students have secured internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our B.Com course, such as free Wi-Fi, modern classrooms, and a library with extensive research papers, are excellent. The hostel facilities provide Wi-Fi in our rooms, along with good food in the mess. Medical facilities are also available on-site.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful, and the curriculum for the B.Com course is relevant to both computer and accounting fields. Teachers effectively impart knowledge in class, preparing students well for the industry. The semester exams are conducted by St. Joseph University, with a passing percentage of 76%.

Come here and become a Josephite
Placements: Every third-year student is required to do an internship, which makes placements easier. For my course, the top recruiting companies are the Big 4, among others. Since internships are compulsory, the internship rate is 100%. I am studying B.Com, but most students don’t focus solely on B.Com—they aim for competitive exams or higher studies.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, but it’s quite slow. The library has many books for research, including rare collections. Science students have labs, and while there is a boys' hostel inside the college, the girls' hostel is outside the campus. The food in the canteen is not very appealing, as I expect more variety. Sports and games are given importance in addition to academics.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable, with so much expertise in their fields, though I realized this later on. They not only teach the syllabus but go beyond, offering us extra knowledge. Our college has also announced an industrial trip to Dubai, and preparations are underway. We often see entrepreneurial stalls in the college, which help students develop business skills. Semester exams aren’t too difficult if you study and understand the concepts, allowing you to score well.
Other: I chose this course because I can pursue CA, CS, or competitive exams alongside it, or even continue with higher studies. Our college offers only B.Com General and B.Com IFA, unlike other colleges that offer B.Com CA, B.Com Accounting, and Finance, etc. There are fests before and after semester exams, and the campus often feels crowded like a fish market due to the small size and synchronized breaks. However, there are spaces to sit and chat, so the campus atmosphere isn’t too bad. They also provide orientation on scholarships, which is helpful, and there are extracurricular activities like sports, dance, and more.

You can get a package of 24 Lacs per annum with a B.Com regular degree.
Placements: The highest package a student of regular B.Com gets in our college is 24 Lacs per annum. The college provides internship offers through the placements cell. Companies like GAO Tek Inc, Glad U Came, and Redefin Capital give opportunities with 6000 per month for paid internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is minimalist. We have a library, Wi-Fi available, along with neat big classrooms having smart boards. The college only provides hostel for boys. A campus doctor is available. The canteen offers good and hygienic food varying from South Indian to north east food.
Faculty: The faculty members of my shift are the best part of the college as they give an opportunity to express ideas and opinions. The teachers are young and reciprocate well to our ideas. The faculty members make sure we engage ourselves in co curricular activities.
Other: I chose the B.Com regular degree because I had to do CFA along with it which requires a degree. The college offers value for the money spent and helps me achieve my co curricular and analytical skills needed for the CFA career.

The cut-off too is high for B.Com. It is around 90% for General Merit, 75% for SC/ST and for Christian Catholic Colleges.

There will be entrance exams for B.A (Visual Communication), EJP, BCA, B.Voc. (Digital media & animation) and B.Voc (Visual media & film making) courses. There will be no entrance exams for all other under-graduate courses. Hence there is no entrance test for B.Com admission at SJC Bangalore.
