It is an ALL-ROUNDER College of Engineering.

Placements: CMRIT is recognised for its placements. It has a good WORD-OF-MOUTH for placements too. My elder brother who currently works in HP, told me about the candidates who work in his office. And a large portion of them are from CMRIT. The college really takes it seriously when it comes to placements. It trains us in a plethora of TYL (Tie Your Laces) Sessions which keep the students well-equipped for the industrial needs. Speaking averages - the average package proposed to students is 4 - 5 Lacs per a...

Overall, the college is good.

Placements: The college provides good placements if you have good CGPA. There are many workshops organised in college. You can participate in it and get a certificate as it's useful for your placements. But, there is no much preference for sports and cultural activities. I don't know about the placement cell of the college.

Overall, it is a good college for engineering.

Placements: Companies that come for placements are pretty good. Since I am studying in CS branch, I know that almost all the CS and IS students got placed, but I don't know about other branches. Some of the companies that visit the campus are Amazon, Accenture, Siemens, L&T, TCS etc. The college provides good placement training for students. One of them is Tie Your Laces (TYL) programme in which they will give good training on basic skills like programming in R, Python etc.

Review of CMR Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements for CSE are pretty good with 96% of the students getting placed through on and off campus placements. Many companies like VMWare, Deloitte, Amazon, TCS, AT&T, SAP and many more visited the campus to offer placements. The highest package offered recently was 18 LPA by VMWare. The average package offered was around 4-5 LPA. CMRIT's placement cell puts its best efforts to invite many companies. The highest salary package offered recently was 18 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 5 LPA. The college has good placements, faculty and a very good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements were pretty good for our batch compared to our senior batch, as our college is improving its placement percentage every year. If you have a good percentage and technical skills, then it will never become difficult to get placed from our college. I would recommend people to join our college.

CMR is the best for middle-class students.

Placements: Our college provides some placements, but those placements are related to other departments, so we haven't got placed. When compared to other colleges, CMR provides more placements. The college also provides campus recruitment training. None of the students of our senior batch got placed. Last year, only one company visited our college for placements.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members and good placements.

Placements: Placements of our mechanical department have increased to a relatively large number. Placements: Placements for the recently passed out batches were very good. The placement cell and the placement coordinator are very helpful and guide students from the beginning to the end of the placement process. Generally, CS and EC students get higher placements, but overall, placements for all the branches are good.

The smart journey of future starts with CMRIT.

Placements: I'm pursuing BE (ECE Final year) in CMR Institute of Technology. Placements of CMRIT are just amazing, and as I have been the placement coordinator, I have observed all the placement activities very closely. When the other colleges get their first company for placement drives, our college would have finished 15 to 20 drives. The most important point is that CMRIT has an excellent placement officer, Mr David, who is very much focused on placing each and every graduating student of CMRIT who deser...

CMRIT is a very good college.

Placements: Placements are good for IS and CS branch students, as many companies visit the college to offer placements for these two branches. For other branches, placements are not that great as many IT based companies visit the campus for placements. If you are looking to work in the IT field, then this college is a very good option.

Placements: Placements of CMR Institute of Technology are great. Our college provides us with a wide variety of opportunities to work on and get new experiences which may be useful in further jobs too. The interview experience is great, and students get to learn a lot by getting exposure to a corporate environment through college placements.
