CMR Institute Campus Chronicles.

Placements: Our college provides quite good placement opportunities. You are eligible for placement when you maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.5 and more. The package varies from year to year and depends on your skills. Top companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and many more recruiting companies visit our college.

Decent infrastructure, dissatisfied with hostel and some faculty members, placement is good.

Placements: Currently, I am pursuing B.Tech from the CSE department at CMRIT College. This year, about 80% of students from this department were selected. Companies like Infosys and some Tata companies have come this year, offering average packages of 9-10 LPA, with the lowest package around 4-5 LPA. Japanese companies also came to the college, and one student received a 30 LPA offer from one of these companies, which was the highest offer received. For internships, companies start coming in the third year,...

The College Placements Are Okay Now, and Good Infrastructure Too, Facilities Also Good

Placements: The highest package is 28 LPA, the average is 3 LPA. Internships related to my course are offered, and although placements are currently less compared to last year, it's still possible to get placed easily, though a good package cannot be guaranteed. Last year, my seniors got good placements with packages up to 9 LPA.

The college has a very attractive and beautiful infrastructure which gives positive vibes.

Placements: CMRIT provides very good placement. 70% of the students are getting placed every year as the college is located in the vicinity of IT industry and attracts companies. College provides internship opportunities as well. The average package offered is 6LPA and the top roles are related to finance, marketing, HR and analytics.

Overall, the placement is decent.

Placements: Placement Experiences: Students after the 6th semester can sit for placements but they all should have a CGPA above at least 8. Companies like Wipro, IBM, Accenture, and Cognizant have visited. The highest package this year was given by a Japanese company for 22 lacs. The average package is 4,50,000. Almost 80% of students get placed. Many companies do mass recruitment. But the placement got a little worse at this time because the IT sector was running a bit slowly.

A very good yet underrated and not much commercialized college: CMRIT, ITPL main road, Whitefield.

Placements: The course of CSE-AIML is taken by few as it is an emerging branch. The highest package was 30 lacs per year, and the average is 10 lacs. The top companies are cloud companies, such as Accenture, Infosys, and TCS. Usually, Google internships help with placement offers.

All to Know about CMR Institute of Technology (Students Perspective)

Placements: The branch of AI&this (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science) is a new branch of Engineering that was introduced into CMRIT in the year 2021. I enrolled in this branch in the year 2022. Choosing this course had mainly one motive, i.e., to keep up with this new era and embrace the obvious growth of AI in our lives. Being a fairly new branch, there have been a lot of spontaneous changes and improvements in the curriculum as new developments occur in this field of study. CMRIT has various tie-ups ...

Good placement and hostel is also nice.

Placements: The college is very supportive in terms of campus placements. They put a high effort into making the students capable in technical and communication skills through soft skills classes and innovative design thinking classes, so that when they enter interview grounds, the companies can pick many students for high salary packages.

The review that will save many.

Placements: The placements are very bad and not that good. The placements are going very wrong and what they are doing to show it 100% is that they don't make students eligible and only allow a few students to sit in the drive. Very bad college. Only high fees, no return .

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2015, and really good infrastructure.

Placements: The college provides training and mock interviews for placement interviews. Some of the faculty members are highly qualified. The college has a good placement programme. The highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. The top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, and Wipro.

Good college with decent facilities.

Placements: The placements have been good. The college has a separate placement cell, so placements are great if you meet the requirements set by the companies and the college. The minimum CGPA requirement is 7.0 with no active backlog. The placement training programme starts in the first semester, which is very useful.

Best college for great opportunities.

Placements: I am not yet sure about this, but as I heard from my seniors and faculty, the average package through campus placement is around 7 LPA, and the highest package offered till date is 30 LPA. Companies like Zenken, Tata Consultancy, etc. hire 50% of students. Almost all students got placement.

Placements: The college has a separate placement cell, so placements are great if you meet the requirements set by the companies and the college. With a minimum CGPA of 7.0 and no active backlog, the college has tried to work with companies that are helpful for internships and jobs.

Overall, I would say it's above average. My branch has really good students who give their best.

Placements: I am a student of CSE, CMRIT and have not been placed yet as I'm still in my 6th semester. As far as I know, the placements in our college are average at best. The highest package offered this year was 10 LPA as recession is going on. When I joined, companies like Amazon used to visit for recruitment and the highest package offered was 30 LPA.

Good placements and facilities.

Placements: Placements are good; there is a training programme called TYL provided by the college to help students in cracking interviews, aptitude, and coding rounds. Multiple companies come, and packages range from 4 LPA to 22 LPA. Programming and Aptitude Hackathons with cash prizes are conducted regularly to encourage students to hone their skills.

The CMRIT life that I enjoyed.

Placements: Placements are pretty cool for previous batches, but due to the recession it's fewer for the 2024 batch, and the roles that many companies give are basic roles like analyst, consultant, and SDE etc., getting a job depends on the skills that person holds and the communication skills is important.
