Good placement in CMR Institute of Technology.
Placements: In placements, a student who got a 7 GPA or above is placed in companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Deloitte, and like others. The average package offered is 6 LPA and the highest is 43 LPA, which our seniors got. Most of them were placed in MNC companies on our campus.
Infrastructure: We have an auditorium, seminar halls, and labs on campus. Every lab has an internet connection; they provide an internet connection to every system in the labs, which helps students research new things. Coming to the canteen, it is neat and clean. The library is the most peaceful place in CMR College.
Faculty: At CMR Institute of Technology, we have well-educated faculty. They explain well with live practical examples and with PPT presentations. The course (CSE) is better and good for the future. Coming to the examination, it's an autonomous college, and it is self-centered.
Other: In this college, we have so many social clubs like NSS, NCC, GDSC (Google Developer Student Club), Microsoft Club, and others.

Not good at faculty, CMR College. Only some teachers, not all, that’s it.
Placements: There is low placement in our college, nearly only a few students are placed in our college. It means only 20 to 30 students are placed in my course this year. It is a very low placement, and they got low packages. It is a very careless matter of this college.
Infrastructure: About the facilities and infrastructure, the infrastructure is good, and there is Wi-Fi, but it is only for faculty, not for students. Facilities are not good in hostels. The campus is not correct, especially in the girls' hostel. Boys are serving food at night, which is not good. In the laboratory and library, the books we need are not available.
Faculty: As for the teachers, some are very friendly, but some teachers are very serious and they are not good at all. They don’t explain the subject well, and students are targeted by students and punished like they failed in some subjects by faculty for personal problems between students and faculty. That's it.
Other: I chose CSE because I didn’t know about CSE when I joined engineering. I got a seat in CSE, so I silently came and sat in this course. It’s not about goals; it is very difficult for students to manage after joining engineering. As for events, there are no events for CMRIT, just two fests: fresher and farewell. That’s it. Campus crowd is big.

CMR Institute of Technology is an average college. The faculty is not good.
Placements: CMR Institute of Technology has average range of placements, where ECE branch students have a high number of placements. The highest package offered is 27.50 Lacs per annum and the lowest package is 6 Lacs per annum, it is good for the ECE students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at CMR Institute of Technology is not that great, it has above average infrastructure. The campus hostels are the worst hostels ever seen, the food in the hostel is very bad.
Faculty: The faculty at CMR Institute of Technology is good, but not too great. There are many experienced faculty members as well as non experienced teachers. Some teachers will give marks based on you are behavior, not on your performance and knowledge, this is one of the major drawbacks of this college.
Other: The events at CMR Institute of Technology are less compared to the other engineering colleges, but which are done are done well.

This college is good value for money .
Placements: In our batch, around 40% of students were placed in our course. The lowest package offered is 2.4 LPA, and the highest package offered is 7 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Reliance, Capgemini, Accenture, TVS, Tech Mahindra, TCS, and other companies. Internship opportunities are less for our course; only top companies are offered. The roles offered for our course are Associate Engineer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure in our college are good, but journals are not available in our college library. The internet connection is available only for staff and labs, not for students. The facilities in our hostel are okay but not better compared to other hostels. The food available in the hostel and canteen is not so hygienic. In sports and games, the grounds are good for practicing.
Faculty: All teachers are qualified and helpful, but the teaching quality of some teachers is not up to standard. They are still teaching years-back industry knowledge, not current industry knowledge. This course curriculum does not make students industry-ready; they need to be trained personally. The semester exams are difficult; the level is moderate, but one can pass. The pass percentage of our class is 70%. Our college conducts a total of 3 exams: 2 midterms and 1 semester exam, and lab exams. Midterm exams are moderate compared to semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I am passionate. The best thing about this course is that it has the highest potential in the future. Things to improve in our course are that the staff should update with the latest technologies. The fests and events are good, and connectivity is the best compared to other colleges. The Illuminate event is iconic for the college. This event includes dinner, DJ nights, and some guests.

If you are really keen about your future and want to learn something you can join our CMR college.
Placements: In our college, there are special training sessions from the very first year to enhance and boost the student interest. They are even starting DSA and aptitude from the very first year. They mainly focus on AI/ML for a better future. 70% of the students are placed every year with the average salary of 6 LPA per annum. The highest packages offered are likely to be 50 LPA, and the lowest packages are likely to be around 3 LPA. There are special trainers from the pyramid who are likely to be the best in the field.
Infrastructure: Faculty in our college are well trained and very talented. Placement faculty are very strong in DSA and development. We also have a well-furnished library with both online and offline reading, and the library also has very massive seating. Coming to the hostel, we have a decent menu with good curry and very good snacks. We also have medical facilities in our college.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, qualified, knowledgeable, and very interested in helping the students. They provide good notes, good roadmaps, and even help in our future plans. Yes, our syllabus makes the students industry-ready. The pass percentage of our college is around 70-80%, and there are many students who get 10 CGPA.
Other: There are many events in our college; as compared to others, we have a decent amount of ground, and we can play sports in our sports period that is organized weekly, twice. The only thing I wish to improve is exam papers, which are too complicated to write.

Decent college with good infrastructure, but scope for improvement in placements and academics.
Placements: The placement opportunities in our college are moderate, with around 40-50% of students getting placed each year. The highest salary package offered so far is 40 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is around 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys, and occasionally Amazon and PalTech. Most students are offered roles as software developers.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is impressive, featuring air-conditioned labs equipped with modern facilities and well-ventilated classrooms, that provide a comfortable learning environment for students. Our college offers a spacious open playground. Students can play sports such as kabaddi, cricket, volleyball, and kho-kho promoting a healthy and engaging campus life.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-qualified. Some are highly knowledgeable and teach very effectively, while others are not as helpful. Few teachers don’t complete the syllabus on time which creates challenges during exams. The course curriculum is relevant and designed to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with an average past percentage of around 45%.
Other: I chose Computer Science and Engineering as my course, and I’m somewhat satisfied with college premises. Campus has a huge crowd. Around 1000 students get admission each year across various courses. Events and fests are organized once a year. There are a few extracurricular activities based on students' interests. While the college has its strengths, there are some areas that need improvement.
