A Review that Helps You to Know About Our College - CVR College of Engineering
Placements: In our batch, 75% of the students got placed even during the recession period and the highest package offered was 33 Lacs per annum which was provided by Commvault. Top recruiting companies are Oracle, Accenture, PwC. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Most of the companies like Realpage offer internships of 15k per month and then provide full-time roles.
Infrastructure: The lab facilities are good but there is no Wi-Fi connection in our class which is not at all acceptable. The library is good with a vast collection of books which covers all the books related to our syllabus. The hostel is below average with low-quality food but medical facilities are good and we have the best cricket ground but you are allowed to play only if you get selected in the college cricket team. Our college conducts Engineering Premier League where all the top colleges in our state participate in various sports like volleyball, football, basketball, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified professors and are very helpful towards students but only the lab faculty are average and they just overreact. The course curriculum is exceptional and well-planned and relevant to the current industry trends. The semester exams are moderate where you can easily pass if you prepare the curriculum in a planned manner. 90% is the pass percentage.
Other: I had chosen Data Science as this is the latest booming industry in the market and students will have a lot of opportunities to secure a job. More of the latest Data Science tools practice labs would be helpful for our students to cope up with the latest competition. Our college will organize an annual fest named Ciencia every March or April. The fee to be paid by the students is 1,20,000 and I paid 0 rupees for the tuition fee as I was selected for the complete fee reimbursement scheme because I secured below 10,000 rank in EAMCET.

I was genuinely satisfied with the college facilities and the placements.
Placements: The placements were awesome in our college from our course. Approximately 73 percent of the students got placed in the campus placements. The packages were like this:the highest package was 7 lakhs per annum, the average package was 5 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package was 3 lakhs per annum. The top recruiting companies like TCS, WIPRO, and ACCENTURE are there. Approximately 67 percent of the students got their internship certificates from our course. The top roles were like server development and code developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities were really satisfactory for the students with reasonable prices. The facilities like separate blocks for different branches of students ac class rooms, library, free Wi-Fi around the entire campus, auditorium, seminar halls. The mess and canteen food were amazing with decent prices. The medical services are also great with professional doctors available. The sports and games are played every weekend with sports meets.
Faculty: The faculty and their way of teaching quality was excellent throughout the academics. They are highly qualified and well-knowledgeable in their course. Especially, our curriculum is really giving the best results in making students industry-ready. The semester exams are very easy to clear. The pass percentage was around 75% from our course.
Other: This course has the best opportunities for students, so I chose this course. The improvements I wish for, like increasing industrial visits, will be great. The events like cultural activities, fests, farewells, freshers’ parties, crowd meetings, tours, concerts, are the best entertainments for the students.

No extracurricular activities. Placements were too bad.
Placements: Only 40 percent of students were placed in the course. The highest package was 30 LPA, while the lowest was 1.6 LPA. The average package offered in my course was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Oracle, Accenture, and Cognizant. Unfortunately, no one secured an internship from my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but there is no Wi-Fi. The labs, classrooms, and library are decent, although no one usually uses the library. Hostel facilities are good, but again, there is no Wi-Fi. The food quality varies; sometimes it is good, and other times it is bad. The canteen food quality is poor, with flies and insects often found in the food.
Faculty: The teachers are sometimes helpful, but at times they can be arrogant when clarifying our doubts. This course is curriculum-oriented, but the students may not be industry-ready with this type of faculty. Semester exams are quite difficult, and we try our best to pass all of them.

Really, it's a very good college for students to get jobs and good faculty.
Placements: 80% of students were placed in a cybersecurity course. The highest package offered by the course is 37 LPA, the average package is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 to 4 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. 75% students got internships by many other companies .
Infrastructure: There are plenty of facilities and good infrastructure available for us in our course and department. We have all facilities like Wi-Fi, AC in labs, classrooms, libraries, workshops, and the new Jen Innovation Cell. The hostel provides a good mess, a canteen, medical facilities, and indoor and outdoor games too.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are very good at teaching. This course curriculum is very relevant; it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit difficult; we need to work hard. The pass percentage is that in every exam we need score 40 marks for 100.
Other: I was interested in ethical hacking, so I have chosen this course.

The college is absolutely good with well trained faculty.
Placements: In our college, 60-80% students were placed. The highest package offered is 57 Lacs and the average package is 5-6 lacs. There are vast company recruitments in our college including Amazon, Google, etc. In our college, placements training starts in the 2nd year which was a shock.
Infrastructure: In hostel the food is average. Wi-Fi and the labs are good but there is no AC in the classes so we suffer in the summers. Library is very large and there are plenty of books available. They allow you to take books from the library. Qualitu of food is average. Hostel is very goof but the food is average.
Faculty: Semester exams are very difficult because it is JNTUH affiliated. The teachers are very knowledgeable. I’d rate the teaching quality as 4.5. The course curriculum is relevant. This college is very good and worthy enough for sincere students. The canteen is very vast. I suggest the juniors to join as it’s the best college.
Other: I chose this course because I was keen to develop skills.

Our college has a good environment.
Placements: Our college provides average placements. Our college offered good placements in previous years. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, L&T, Epam, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc. The salary packages vary. The salary package offered is around 10 - 15 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is average. Spacious rooms are available in the hostel. There is no Wi-Fi in classrooms or hostel rooms. We have a good lab equipment. The quality of the food in the hostel is good. There is no special schedule for sports and games. Our college does not encourage us in sports and games.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. We have to mention Mr. Vinodh for his excellent teaching. The curriculum does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit difficult. Our college is good in terms of conducting exams. The curriculum needs to change and new ways have to be implemented.
Other: Our campus has good surroundings. The cricket ground is one of the best grounds of all the colleges in Hyderabad.
