Review of CMS College of Science and Commerce.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 6 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 1.5 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Accenture, State Street, HCL, Infosys, BPM, South Indian Bank, TCS, BPS and more. Only a few students go for internships, and others are not interested in it.
Infrastructure: It is one of the oldest colleges in the city, so it does not have modern architecture, but it is maintained well by the college management. Wi-Fi facility is available only for PG students, but when you are in the lab, you can also access it. Separate labs are available for every department. They give library identity cards for every student to take books from the library. Boys' hostel is located inside the campus, but the girls' hostel is 3 kilometers away from college. Food in the canteen is good. There are separate grounds for cricket, basketball, throwball and football. Medical facilities are available, along with a nurse.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly with students. They are knowledgeable. They are always ready to guide you and clear your doubts. Semester exams are not that easy, but if you study well, you can pass easily. The pass percentage is more than 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become an accountant. Nowadays, the world is becoming digital, but every company needs an accountant. This course majorly focuses on accounting and marketing, and they both have good scope.
