It is a good college. Go for it if any option is not available.

Placements: I am pursuing computer science engineering in 3rd semester, and I only know that the placements in our college are quite good for CS and IT sectors. In the last year 2019, 40 students out 45 students from the CS department got placed with an average salary package of about 4 LPA. Moreover, two students of our seniors got placed in Oracle.

Satisfied with the college because of its good faculty and excellent placements.

Placements: Placements of this year are quite good when compared to the previous years. More than 350 students were placed this year, and companies like Cerium and Vedanta, etc., visited our college for placements. The highest salary package was offered by Cisco. Around 20%-30% of the students got internship opportunities. The average stipend offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. The placement cell of CUSAT has been providing good services to the students effectively during the 7th and 8th semesters.

It is an outstanding college in conducting events.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Almost 50% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 lacs per annum. A large number of companies like Mu Sigma, TCS, Infosys, Oracle, Cerium, Wipro, etc., visited the campus for placements. Overall, the placements are good.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: Placements in our college were average during 2016 as only service-based companies used to visit the campus at that time, but some of the product-based companies have also visited. From the preceding years, placements have been increasing with time. So overall, the placements are okay.

Good college compare to other private college in india.

Placements: Talking about the placement 80% of seniors are placed but placement in core companies is a little bit less. The highest placement in mechanical for current batch is 8-9 Lacs. And the lowest is about 3.6 Lacs in CUSAT 3 internships are compulsory and you can easily find it in Kochi or nearby. there is a placement cell which is working quite well for the student to get placement.

A good college in terms of academics. It is better than any of the reputed private colleges.

Placements: The placements are quite good but only for CS, IT and ECE branches. Civil, mechanical, and electrical students were also placed in IT companies but very few. There was zero placement for these branches in core companies. The salary package offered was around 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Some companies offered a salary package of 2.5 LPA to 5 LPA. TCS and Wipro were the major recruiters of our college.

The infrastructure and placements are good, but students can't have a good campus life.

Placements: Placements in college are decent for core branches such as mechanical and civil, but CS and IT branches have massive placements. Many IT companies such as Amazon, TCS, IBM and Infosys recruit a large number of students. Vedanta, Godrej, L&T and ACC are the main recruiters for core branches. Students get an average salary package of around 5 LPA. The fire and safety branch in CUSAT has very good placements. Many PSUs such as ONGC recruit students with an average package of around 9 LPA.

It is one of the top colleges in world-wide ranking.

Placements: Placements in our college were almost good for computer science and information technology branches. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Placements for fire and safety branch are high. Fire and safety branch requires CUSAT CAT rank under 400, but it's worth every penny. CUSAT is a brand.

The college is good for education and extracurricular activities. Not recommended for civil branch.

Placements: There were no placements for civil engineering, but more than 60% of the students from other branches like ECE and mechanical got placed successfully in the college placements. The highest salary package offered was about 6 LPA, and the minimum package offered was 4 LPA, and the average was 4.8 LPA. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, and IBM were the major companies that visited the college to offer placements. Placements: In the year 2014, 26 students from the EEE department were placed, and in 2013, 10 students were placed. This year, 9.5% of the total placements was bagged by the EEE department. Our college is very good for studies as well as the research studies.

Placements: The placements are different for different departments. Some departments have higher chances of placements, and some have a few opportunities. From the departments like fire and safety, computer Science, electrical, and communication engineering, many students got placed. Only a few students are placed from other departments. The salary package offered for the students of fire and safety is about 10 LPA.

Degree from this college has value in the country and abroad. Good placements for non-core branches.

Placements: The placements in our college are good (80%) for non-core branches like IT, CS and EC. But, it is low for core branches like civil, mechanical, and electrical students if they are not interested in joining IT sector companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. The placements of the core branches are low because there are not many core companies which visit our campus except few. The placements for marine and fire and safety are good with 90% placement record.

The college is good, and it is even better than the private college.

Placements: The placements are not that good on the campus, but it is good for computer science students and the best for safety and fire. Shiptech is the best branch on the campus. The mechanical and other branches have fewer placements. The placement cell is not active for them. Many companies visit the campus for CA, and this year, all the north Indian students got placed. Around, there is 50% placement in overall electron students.

CUSAT is not good as IIT or NIT but it is good from the average colleges in our country.

Placements: In my batch placements are good from my senior batch. The highest package offered is 7 lacs and the lowest package offered is 2.8 lacs and the average package offered is 3.5 lacs. Here the placement cell is good is very useful to the students to get know about the companies who are visiting our college. Here the mass recruiter college is TCS.

This campus is good and I really like how it is.

Placements: The placements are quite bit good in this university. Hence this university is a well-known university in Kerala. The certificate of CUSAT has value in and outside placements too. In the university, there are many courses like mechanical, civil, IT, CS, EEE, ECE, and SE, but from all these courses, the ME and SE had the many campus placements. EEE and ECE are known as the toughest one in the university.
