Decent college with good vibe going on.

Placements: There are no placements at all for civil engineering students. In other branches also, the placements are not that great companies come, and take very few. Never touched the mark of 70% of the placements also. If you want just to do your B.Tech without any placement from campus dream, then you can come. Otherwise, take some other college in Uttarakhand there are many nearby.

Absolutely satisfied, but some features need to be improved.

Placements: The placements were based on the percentage of students. Mostly seniors scoring high percentage, above 60 percent are selected in placements. The highest salary offered is 15 LPA, and the minimum salary offered is 2 LPA to all my seniors selected in placement. There is a placement cell.

If you want to make your career, then go to some other college.

Placements: The placements in the civil on the campus is almost zero. There are no civil companies, which come over there and take the students. The only companies come over there is the BPO and call centre and that too of the low package that is around 1.8-2.6 LPA. Sometimes CSE companies visit the campus, which gives the maximum package of 3-4 LPA.

A good college, if you have a distance course then it does not matter for you from home.

Placements: The placements are good in the CS and IT branches, but for the civil and the mechanical, it is not good. It also has one more branch called the plastic and polymer. Its placement happens in the college only because they themselves have a company of it, so it is good to be here. And besides this, the ECE branch also have good placements.

Not fully satisfied because lots of restrictions are there for girls in hostel and poor faculty.

Placements: The placements offered were no good for our seniors. Mostly the students were placed from the CSE branch. The average package offered was around 3 lacs per annum. The companies like HCL, Technosys, Rubicon, ICICI, Acadmiaguru, Smartprix, Genpact, Bhilwara, etc. visited our college. Mostly the students were placed on the off-campus drive. Winter and summer internship training is provided in the college itself for the willing students. There are a placement cell and a placement committee also. The...

Dissatisfied with the condition of the college.

Placements: The placement was not there for the mechanical engineers. CS and IT have the placement options, but no option is available for the mechanical. Also, there are fake companies for the placement like O2. A fake placement fair was also organised with absolute no original companies and all were false.

Autocratic rules are present in the college.

Placements: In our college, the placement cell is retarded one. The college administration and the training and placement department never gave any attention towards our batch. Our college students used to go to different colleges for the pool placement. The data shown on our college website is fake, and the students who got placed were more by the pool placement than our college placement. Overall, it is very bad regarding placements.

The college is good, and I liked it, but there are disadvantages and advantages.

Placements: The placements in the particular mechanical sector are not good, and the companies having the mechanical background does not visit the campus. The computer science branch has got the well-reputed company like HCL. But if you want to get placed in the management company then it is good. The highest package is 6-7 LPA, and the lowest is 2-3 LPA. Management, CAD, Design and Simulation are the courses required to get placements. 20% of the students got the internships with the average stipend as Rs....

Quite satisfied with the faculty. Placement not so good. Infrastructure is better than other college

Placements: The placement is quite an average. Most of the companies those visit in this college is mainly for computer science and IT branch but if you are from mechanical or civil background then there is a very little hope for you to get placed. The electronics and electrical students are also sometimes placed in software companies. Most of the companies that come in the college are startup companies or sometimes they don't even exist.

College of engineering Roorkee is a better than average college now a days in Haridwar district.

Placements: If you have the knowledge, then you are placed. From last 3 years, the placements offered is not good. Maybe next year they will improve. Only 40% of the students get placed. But nowadays the college is working on it, and the new batches will be placed in computer science branch as the scope is now increased.

College - The life changing time.

Placements: The placement for our senior batch wasn't that much good. Only 50-60% of the students got placed with the average package of 2.5 to 3 lakhs per annum. The highest package was 6 lakhs per annum. Approximately, 70% students got an internship from the college , and that was an average quality internship.

I am dissatisfied because there are no placements, mess food is not good and the faculty is good.

Placements: In our time, some placements were provided. I am from B.Tech civil engineering batch 2009-2013, so for girls who all are pursuing civil engineering from this college, it's worthless. There are no placements offered for civil engineers. There are placements only for computer science and IT engineers. 20% of the students were placed in my time. The companies like Infosys, Wipro and IGATE Patni visited. There are no internships provided by the college.

Good college for nearby students only

Placements: Lots of fake companies visited our college. But some companies are real and students are working with those companies. The best thing about our college that they provide a bus for visiting another college for placements. This helps me in my placement. According to my knowledge, 4 lacs is the highest package and 1.8 lacs is the lowest package in our college.

The placement is not good but the infrastructure and some faculty are good.

Placements: The placements are not good enough. The college does not acquire the companies. Upto 2012 and 2013 batch are placed in some good companies. The placement ratio of our batch is in between 30-40%. The highest salary is 4 lakh per annum and the lowest salary is 1.5 lakh per annum.

Everything is average but placement is the worst and a show off on the website.

Placements: There are no placements in the college. Every time, there is a visit of fake and fraud companies. Placements are degrading day by day. The college advertises too much fake data related to placements on its website. There are always fraud companies welcomed by the college and the college management never searches for their complete and genuine date. The training and placement cell is poor. Even if any student gets placed (.09%) he/she will never get a call from the company side after the placeme...

Not satisfied with the placement.

Placements: The placement scenario is the worst in this college. Not a single core company visited our college in 2016. Companies that visited were either BPOs or calling profile. I would not join this college at any cost as it is not a good move to go to those colleges which do not provide you placements.

Placements: The placement is not at all good. In the case of civil, it tends to be at 5% to 10%. The highest and the lowest packages are 6 and 2.5 LPA respectively but this is valid in only the computer department or in the IT department. The companies which visited the COER campus are HCL, Newgen, Capgemini, Lava International, JK Technosoft, Mphasis, Wipro Technology, Genpact, XL Dynamics, Compro Technology, Safenet, Opentext, JSW Steels, Era Group, SKF, Icereon, Mahindra & Mahindra and TCS. Good facilities but less placements and knowledge.

Placements: Placements were not up to the mark this year. About 30-40% of students got selected particularly in CS and IT branches. Civil and mechanical students' placements' were very low. The highest salary package was 5-6 lacs in a software company, the lowest was 1.2 lacs and the average salary was 1.8-2.4 lacs. Companies like Connect Broadband, Irawati Constructions, Vodafone, etc. About 20 companies visited the campus. Roles of software developer, management trainee, sales executive or site engineer w...

If you want my suggestion, I will say you that this is the only good college in Haridwar Roorkee .

Placements: Placement of this college is good in Haridwar region. EE branch and mechanical branch placements are less compared to other branches. If anybody wants to go near Haridwar and Roorkee, this one is a good choice. The placement department is working well for the placement of the students. And day by day, placements are also increasing. Around 45% classmates in 2015 in CS and electronics branch are placed in different companies called by the placement cell. But the range of package is around 3 lakh ...
