I wish the college should improve infrastructure and placements.

Placements: None of the students from our batch got placed. The highest salary package offered was 4.2 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.18 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.80 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Anchor, Rockman and HCL visit our campus for placements. About 40-50% of the students got an internship in companies like Patanjali, Indian oil, NEST Key and Reliance petroleum. A top role offered to the students is an assistant branch manager.

The college provided good placements in the year 2018.

Placements: More than 60 students were placed, and the top recruiting company is Rubico. Internships are offered at Rubico and IT and different MNCs. Other recruiting companies were Byju's and small IT startups, which were not useful. If companies provide more collaboration after graduation, then it would be helpful.

Best Engineering College in Uttarakhand.

Placements: The placement of the college is more than the average. The college invites a number of big and renowned companies like Panasonic, Tata motors, TCS, byjus, Mahindra, etc. The highest package is about 40 lacs and the lowest is about 4 lacs with an average of 6 lacs per annum. There is a separate cell called COER placement cell for this.

I am highly satisfied with all faculty members. The college has a good infrastructure.

Placements: At least 70% of the marks are required in College of Engineering Roorkee for placements. Here the companies offer a salary package of 2.5 LPA to 12-13 LPA. I think that this is very good for all students. My advice is that students should take admission here. Even this college is among the top 5 colleges in Uttarakhand.

Once a Jewel now not that good.

Placements: As far as placements are concerned, the college's Training & Placement (TnP) cell has managed to invite pretty good number of companies throughout the session. At the end of the final year almost 80% of the students were placed, though the salary offered was not that attracting. The salary offered was as minimum as 84k per annum to 6lac per annum. The average salary was around 2.5-3.5 lac per annum. Though majorly the companies so visited are start-ups, but companies like Byju's, Rockman, Anchor...

It is a top 5 college in Uttarakhand.

Placements: There are various companies visit the campus, but most are from the IT sector and core sector. There are only a few companies which visit, but I think this is the case with most of the colleges, so it doesn't matter that much overall the college is good, but I will prefer to opt for CS and IT.

Placements: Placements in our college are not guaranteed, but a lot of companies like HCL, Microsoft, TCS and Infosys visited the campus. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by Microsoft. Computer science has got the highest placements while other branches have low packages and placements.

Placements: The placements were only average. Companies like Genpact, Rubico IT, HDFC visited for campus placements. There were no companies visited for summer internships. There was an adequately established placement cell, but some improvements were required.

The college is good for studying because of its good facilities and good placements.

Placements: Placements are average for the students of the civil engineering department. About 30%-40% of the students get placed every year. The average salary offered is about Rs. 15,000 per month, but the packages offered for other branches are high. Many companies visit the campus for placements, so the placement chances are high. However, placements also depend on the skills of students.

Earlier placements were good, but now, the placements are not good.

Placements: Placements in the college are average for CS/IT branch students, but for other branches, hardly one or two companies visit the campus. Even CS/IT based companies offer low salary packages, and that is around 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Some students got higher packages on the basis of their skills and learning. The college should invite big MNCs and give a chance to students.

This year, only 2 companies in civil and 3 companies in mechanical come to the college for the placements. The highest package is for CS branch, and almost 50% of students of CS branch are placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, and average package is of 2.2 LPA.

Better college as compared to other private colleges, good faculty and peaceful infrastructure.

Placements: Placements of our last batch are average. Rockwell placed twenty students of final year of mechanical branch. COER enjoys extremely good support for placement of COERians with leading corporate houses, organizations such as ONGC, BHEL, TATA and several other leading private sector. The institute invites various companies for campus recruitment process so that students are placed from the campus itself at higher packages in the reputed firms.

Some of the bigshots visiting the campus were Anchor Electrical, HCL, Codebrew Labs, BYJU's etc. Mostly the roles offered were Software Engineer and Sales and Marketing.
