BFA in Painting - Batch of 2024

Our college doesn't provide placements, and the infrastructure is not good.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide placement opportunities. Companies don't visit our college, and the administration is not interested in providing placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Our college is among the top-3 fine arts colleges in India, but the condition of our campus is not good. It's a fine art college, so the expenses for making it look good are high. Our library has numerous good books. Wi-Fi is provided, but the bandwidth is very low. There are no hostel facilities. The canteen serves a variety of foods, but the quantity is less. Medical facilities are not available. We have a basketball court at our college.
Faculty: Some teachers take the responsibility very seriously, and some don't care at all. Many teachers are highly qualified as they are selected through UPSC. The course curriculum is outdated and does not make students industry-ready. The majority of teachers want their students to stick to the particular curriculum. Semester exams are not that easy. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course as I had a keen interest in fine arts. Our course has many excellent features. The course curriculum should be updated. Events are conducted by students. Fewer scholarships are provided. The campus crowd is good. Fests are not conducted but annual functions take place here. I do not recommend this college.

I would not recommend this college due to lack of placement and hostel facility.
Placements: The average marks scored by a student is above 50%. Sadly, there are no placements offered but the faculty works towards the skill and technical development of students.
Infrastructure: We don’t have hostel in our college but the facilities like library, gym, basketball court, etc are available. Canteen is clean and well maintained but the food available is not good. Sports activities are also conducted with in the campus and there are no intercollege matches.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Extra-curricular activities are conducted which help the students to learn new things in. Different societies are also present like lake dance, poetry, singing, anime, etc. The exams are difficult to clear as the library does not have enough books but one can pass the exams because of the teaching process.
Other: I chose this college as it was in the list of “Best colleges in India for BFA”. College needs improvement to bring students together during extra-curricular activities. Scholarship is only applicable for financially weaken students and not for the students who are on the merit list.

The college life is good with a great curriculum, but the rest of the things are not good.
Placements: There are no campus placements. Students work alongside their college. The college doesn't provide any work opportunities apart from the annual exhibition. The college's reputation gets attention for contract based works or freelancing. Internships are not provided, and only pass out students come to work as visiting faculty members.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is poor, but there is well-devised space to work. Every student can make space for a personal studio for him/herself. There are not even any basic facilities like a fan. There is sufficient light, but it's all by natural means. Sports and gaming facilities are provided. Food is nearly edible, but I won't prefer having it.
Faculty: Our course is perfectly laid out, but its execution is poor. Frequent change of HOD is disturbing the course cycle. The contracts of visiting faculty members expire soon, and there is a lack of mentors in our college. There is only one mentor for all the three years.
