Review of College of Engineering, Munnar.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed is probably about 95%. The lowest package was about 1.5 lacs per annum and the highest one was about 7.5 lacs per annum.
The top recruiters are SOTI, IBM, 6D, UST, and Ashok Leyland.
50% of students got internships. The top role offered is that of manager.
Infrastructure: As a CSE student, I will admit that the college doesn't have a permanent projector or touch-screen digital Monitor for every batch of students. But as of other sort of facilities, they are very vast, as we have very good computer labs and network labs, which helps efficiently in our studies.
We have a better hostel facility compared to any other colleges under Kerala Technical University.
a perfect mess with less than 5,000 per month.
-Sports and games are supported by college authority and Annual sports meet will be conducted in college every academic year .
Faculty: All the faculty members are very knowledgeable and qualified.
They are helpful at every stage.
As a means of study, they could help us achieve a lot with a lot of support.
The number of students is the only problem for the course; it's all about our own skills.
Semester exams are professionally tough exams going on, with 40% marks being the minimum marks in the written exam and 50% in total, including internal marks.
Other: Computer Science and artificial intelligence are the growing economies in programming field.
As I am interested in Korean computer-based things, I chose this course.
Most industries are ready to recruit students for my course.
We have more practical training with real-world knowledge than base studies .

Reviewing College of Engineering, Munnar.
Placements: College of Engineering, Munnar, is situated between the beautiful hills and tea plantations of Munnar. The ambience of the college is a major factor that makes the college stand out. In my opinion, it is the best place to study considering the location. It is situated far from the busy streets of Munnar which in a way is a good trait. The college has a large library which is usually empty. The food is average, I would say that the boys eat from the college canteen while the girls have a hostel. The placements cell is active. We have companies like 6D and Armia visiting. On an average, 60% of the students are placed. The college emphasises more on academics which is a set back for me.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious having good ventilation. During winters, fog enters the classrooms which is really beautiful. Food in the canteen is average. Hostel food is good. Sports day is celebrated every year. The college library is to die for. It is really good. Lab facilities for my stream are good obviously having a nice computer lab. Also other streams have good lab facilities, but the number of students admitting for the other courses is less.
Faculty: In my stream of computer science, I would say the teachers are pretty average with some of them being good, like most engineering colleges. The faculty comes to the class for attendance. The girls hostel warden is strict and there is a restriction to be back at the hostel by 6:30 for girls. Semester exams are conducted by KTU. The exams are not difficult. Passing percentage for my batch is 75%.

Average college in a heavenly location.
Placements: Around 52% of students were placed in our batch with top recruiters like Ashok Leyland, TCS, UST Global, etc. The average package was 2.8 lacs CTC. The roles offered were software developer, implementation engineer, telecaller, quality assurance engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average, with average facilities in hostels and colleges. The hostels are not properly painted and maintained. Food is good, with mess committees maintained by students. Libraries are rarely used. Wi-Fi is provided by the Kerala government throughout the campus.
Faculty: 40% of the faculty are averagely educated. The college, though, provides good skill development programs to cope with this. Various organizations, like IEEE, ACSES, and MESTAS, are available here. These organizations, along with course study, make the students industry-ready.
Other: The best thing about this college is the climate of Munnar, which makes us energetic to seek more. The campus crowd is smaller, with around 300 students per year.

Our college is very good.
Placements: Our course has 13 students. Around 3 of them were offered jobs in different companies. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA - 2.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. A few students got placed in Ashok Leyland. A few students got internships in different organisations such as Southern Railway and United Electrical in Kollam.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college has a well-stocked library. It has numerous subject-related books and materials for enhancing our general knowledge. Our institution has a distinctive infrastructure that sets it apart from other engineering colleges. Classrooms are exceptional. The hostel is good. The food served in the hostel is good.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified. They provided great assistance in our studies. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is good. It doesn't provide practical knowledge and opportunities to learn about the industry. Around 50% of students passed the semester examination.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in electrical drawing and design. This course offers ample opportunities for the future. The curriculum should incorporate more practical knowledge rather than theories. Many events and fests are held in our college.

I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: Almost 25% of students got placed in this course. The minimum salary offered was Rs 30,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, IBM, and TCC.
Infrastructure: The facilities are very good. The infrastructure is better. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Laboratory is available. The library is excellent.
Faculty: This college is affiliated with Kerala Technical University. Semester exams are conducted very well. Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in higher studies. Our college should improve its education facility.

Absolutely a good college with lots of experiences.
Placements: More than 80 percent of students are getting placed every year.
The package ranges from 1.5 LPA to 7 LPA.
6D Technology, Aremia Soti, etc. are the top recruiting companies.
Internship opportunities are also provided by the college and more than 50 percent of students got internships.
Infrastructure: All the departments are providing practical sessions but it must be improved much more. The food and accommodations are also fine in the hostel.
The hostel fees are around 50,000 per year and for this price, it's okay.
Medical insurance is also provided for the students, faculty members and staff of the college .
Faculty: All the teachers are well trained and most of them are Ph.D. qualified, while the rest are M.Tech graduates. The course curriculum is relevant and the classes are going well.
Exams are a little bit difficult, but they can be cracked with hard work.
Difficulty mainly occurs while cracking core subjects but theory papers can be easily cracked.
Other: Personally, I am interested in machines learning and it's working so I chose mechanical engineering as my core. Events and fests are superb and they must be experienced at least once.
Scholarships are also provided, such as those from Egrantz, NSP, etc.
