College of Engineering Vadakara Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Kozhikode

Placements: Placements were very less for our college. When I was in the final year, only 1 company visited i.e. IBS. A total of 5 students got placed after the interview and all the students offered 15000 per month for the first 3 months. After that, they will get 3 lakhs per annum. They are selected for the role of a software developer. Nobody here got the internship. the interview held is only useful for the computer science/IT people as they got more exposure. But other branches didn't get any core job ...

Placements: Few companies come here for placement. They will select you if you have good core knowledge and have a good grasp of the subject. The companies are mostly IT companies which is a disadvantage. The number of companies which come is comparatively low. There will be better salary packages available outside than the opportunities available from this college.

Like any other IHRD college. Not getting enough attention from the government. Faculty is average. Location is not easily accessible. The college is not very far from the town but conveyance is a problem. The nearest bust stop is at least 2 km away and it is very difficult to walk that distance since it is a hilly region.
