Our college provides good teaching and hostel facilities.
Placements: There is not every student who like to join the job. Some are preparing for competitive exams and some are doing their higher studies and few have joined the work. The highest salary package is Rs.35,000 per month and the lowest salary package is Rs.15,000 per month. Namadhari seeds, Basf, and Agriplex are the top recruiters. Nobody has gone for any internships. Roles offered are Horticulturist, horticulture sales officer, lab chemist, quality control agent, horticulture officer, farm manager, and landscape designer.
Infrastructure: College has no Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library were awesome. Hostel has Wi-Fi access. Food in the mess was tasty and nutritious. There is separate health care for medical illnesses. Annually sports are conducted, with provision to play indoor games as well. There is a ground next to the college to can play kabaddi, Kho, throw ball, etc.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified, have Ph.D. in the relevant subjects, and are friendly. There is industrial placement, rural horticulture work experience, and internship which makes students ready for industry. The course is not that difficult for an average student. The pass percentage was 98%.
Other: I chose this course as I want to be a horticulturist and it is my passion to excel in all. Internships should be improved. There is a handsome amount of scholarships for students from both college and the government.
