Popularly known as MGM CJMC, MGM's College of Journalism and Mass Communication was established in 1993. The college is ISO 9001:2015 certified for all courses to meet the quality of education and it has also been credited with B+ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and certificate programmes in the field of journalism, filmmaking, photography, etc. It is a constituent college of MGM University, Aurangabad. MGM's College of Journalism and Mass Communication Admission Process
CJMC application forms are available on the official website from March. Candidates willing to apply can fill the application form online and submit the same. Some quick facts related to MGM's College of Journalism and Mass Communication admissions are as follows:
UG courses
- Candidates are selected in BA programme on the CET basis
- CET results are declared on the basis of merit
PG courses
- For PG programmes, Common Entrance Exam (Current Affairs) is conducted by the college
- The selection of the candidates is based on their performance in the entrance exam followed by a Personal Interview (PI)
Certificate courses
- The college accepts direct admission for certificate courses
- The provisional admissions begin in April every year

MGM's College of Journalism and Mass Communication Courses
The college offers a three-year BA, two-year MA and six-month certificate programmes. It offers BA programme under two specialisations. The college follows the UNESCO curriculum for its BA (International Journalism & Mass Communication) programme. Students also need to go through a mandatory internship while pursuing BA programme. MA programme is offered under two specialisations. MA (Mass Communication & Journalism) offers further specialisations in Print Media, Electronic Media, Advertising & Public Relations, Media & Event Management.
