I am a student of College of Technology and Engineering from 1 year, and it is my dream college.

Placements: College of Technology and Engineering provides the best placements for all branches. But especially in the mining and agriculture department, the placements are very good. In the previous year, my senior was offered a package of 8 lacs per annum by Hindustan Zinc. 90% of the agriculture students get government jobs in the agriculture department. The package offered to the students of other branches is below 5 lacs per annum.

The college is good in labs and faculty, but bad in campus environment.

Placements: CTAE has a placement cell. The highest package offered to students is 8 lacs per annum and the lowest package offered is 4 lacs per annum. From the last 2 years, placements are increasing. Companies visited for placements are Mahindra, Hindustan Zink, Secure Meter and some IT companies. The students should have a minimum CGPA of 6.5 to get placed.

CTAE is very good compared to other colleges in Rajasthan.

Placements: For mining, CTAE is the best college in Rajasthan. The placements are best in mining with the highest package of 12 LPA. My senior advised me to take admission in CTAE in mining branch because its placement record is 80 to 90%. Other branches like of agriculture placements are also good, those students can get government jobs. But, the placements for other branches are not very good, the package for them is only 3-4 LPA, and its placement record is 20-30%.

Best govt technical institute in rajasthan but dosen't has facilities acc to the name and fame.

Placements: Talking about placements is not of much worth. The placements are not up to the mark according to the reputation of the institute. The percentage is below 50 is we talk about complete batch which includes this students also who didn't appeared by their wish or some other reasons. The highest salary offered was 9.95 LPA by hindustan zinc. Internship is provided only to Agri and Mining students.

Information and knowledge about CTAE, Udaipur.

Placements: Here, the placements of the mining branch are very good. Many mining companies like Hindustan Zinc, Volcanoes, etc. provide placements to the mining students, and they also offer a fair amount as salary. There were 12 students placed this year in Hindustan Zinc, and their package was 7.95 lacs per annum for our senior batch. Students who have a GPA of more than 6 were to be seated in the interviews. All of the seniors were given the same package of 7.95 lacs per annum. They were all offered the ...

Review of C. T. A. E, Udaipur.

Placements: Chances of placement in this college is very low. Only few students are placed with low salary. They get maximum package of 2 lac. Even the companies also not come for placement. But with the other branch like agriculture, Mining, electrical, they get good placement with 12 lac. They got good scope in these branch. Thank you.

The college has a lot of potential but needs to improve.

Placements: The placements are not good for the civil branch. However, the placements in agriculture and mining branches are pretty high. The only company that visits the campus for recruiting the civil engineers is Hindustan Zinc. The students mostly prepare for the government jobs and reach out for the off-campus placement.

It is the best college to get exposure.

Placements: Placements are very much compact. There is not much possibility in the placement section. Normally, two companies come in for the campus interviews. The average payment offered to the students is 3 LPA to 3.5 LPA. Placements need to be watched out for the better growth of the college. More companies should be invited to campus pool.

It is a really good college for agriculture and mining engineering.

Placements: Mining field has a wide scope of opportunities for new engineers. Particularly, Udaipur is a big hub for many types of industrial minerals and metals. Hindustan Zinc Limited (Vedanta) is a major employer company in CTAE college. Recruitments are done in two steps, first is reasoning exam and the second is the personal interview. Overall, the scenario is good. Average package offered was around 8 LPA. They were recruited as trainee engineers. The number of placements is more in the mining branch.

The college provides good placements in IT and CS and other branches are also average. So, if you are interested in taking a college with no tension of study burden, go for it and if you are interested in studying than also it’s a good choice. The agriculture and mining branches are very good with good placement records.

Review of College of Technology and Engineering.

Placements: Our college does not provide good placement facilities. Business process outsourcing (BPO) companies visit for placements in our college. Around 3-4 students got placed in a batch. In our college, passed-out students prepare for government exams or else search for private jobs.

Our college is not up to the mark for students to gain knowledge and skills.

Placements: Placements were not up to the mark. There were only one or two companies for placements like TCS and sometimes HCL. The salary package is not good, around 2.3 to 3 LPA. Around 10 to 15% of students got placed.

Review of College of Technology and Engineering.

Placements: CTAE is the best B.Tech college in Udaipur. The average package offered is around 4-5 LPA. The best branch of CTAE is mining and agriculture. The average package for these branches is 7-8 LPA. The course fee at CTAE is 35,000 per semester. Agriculture and mining seats are government-aided, hence, the fee is low. The government provides scholarships to female candidates.

It is a good college to develop good engineers.

Placements: The salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA to 5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Secure Meters, Hindustan Zinc and Vedanta, are usual recruiters. Plant management and energy inspection are usual roles assigned to the students. Almost 60 to 70% of the students got placed, and 60 to 70% of the students got an internship mostly in RSMM.

Some departments' infrastructure is good, but some are in very poor condition.

Placements: Placements in our college are limited. About 10 or 20% of the students are placed through campus. All other students are trying from off-campus placement or UPSC exams. The average salary package offered is 4 PA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. All companies do not visit our campus.

Dissatisfaction because of faculty and the election is held in an engineering college.

Placements: During my graduation year, no placements were conducted. Very few students got selected in Vedanta, the only company which visited for recruitment. But now it seems like the placement cell is actively doing there duty and managing placements.
