University library with double storeyed stack room with the capacity of 1.5-lakh books. Library possesses around 42,000 books. These books are very valuable and are helpful in their studies, research and for preparation of different competitive exams. Library provides 150 Indian and around 42 Foreign journals and 14,000 back volumes. The library has valuable books, which are helpful to students in different competitive exams. Apart from this University also has Cyberary in two different well-furnished cells with 40 workstations. Cyberary with 100 Mbps LAN connectivity facilitates students with databases like CAB, AGRIS, AGRICOLA, are obtained as a CD-ROM version. This has facilitated a tremendous improvement in the usage of the library for referencing purposes. Full-time internet facility for students, scanning, and CD writing facility is also available for the students in the Cyberary. Krishibha online agricultural doctoral theses database and J-Gate is also available online.

All the undergraduate and postgraduate students are provided with hostel facilities with an attached mess. Various hostel facilities exist for the students of different faculties, in addition to this, an International hostel for foreign students is available, while, 'Kasturba' hostel for the girls of Doctoral degree, 'Chanakya' hostel for PGI ABM, 'Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel' hostel for Polytechnic in Agro processing are in use. As a part of the residential facility, more hostels like 'Vikas' for Horticulture Wing, Mahatma Gandhi new hostel for Post Graduate of Agriculture, Zaverchand Meghani Hostel at Dhari, Biotech Hostel(Old Kisan Ghar) for P.G.(Girls) of Agri. Biotechnology, other P.G.(Girls) hostel in faculty guest house are also in use. While, a new Ridhi girls hostel having capacity of 120 girls and a new hostel for College of Agriculture, Amreli constructed. There are total 27 hostels, 20 for boys and 7 for girls having capacity to accommodate 2312 students. Looking to the increasing strength of the students two more hostels are under construction at Targhadiya and Amreli.
