I am disappointed with the college.

Placements: In our college, only a few students got placed with the help of a placement cell. That too, does not include any top companies or top roles in a company, just a clerical job. The recruiting companies recruit for jobs like sales and marketing which are irrelevant to commerce.

The college has a good set of teachers with good quality of knowledge.

Placements: More than 70% of the students got placed in various companies like Infosys, Capgemini, CTS, etc. The starting salary package offered ranges from 1.2-2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Capgemini, CTS and Wipro visited our college for placements. Almost 100% of the students got an internship in NASSCOM certified companies.

Absolutely good for the students.

Placements: Software developers get the highest and lowest packages offered in this course, which are 21,002 and 25,000. The top recruiting companies for this course are ZEO, Cognizant, and IBM. A number of students got internships in companies like Zoho, IBM, and Cognizant. If you study this course, you can apply for various top roles that come under engineering and software development.

The college is really good with nice faculty.

Placements: Many companies offered placements in the college. Companies like McKinsey, The Hindu, Amazon, etc., visited for placements. They offered jobs with a starting salary of Rs. 10,000. Out of the 80% of students who attended the interviews for placements, 20% of the students were selected and were placed in different places. There is a placement cell in our college which has helped the students a lot.

Bishop Appasamy College surrounding was good, placed in a good racecourse location. But in terms of education, it’s bad. What I mean to say is that, the faculty members do not even know what they are teaching. They do not know how to explain. Likewise, if there is a chapter on accounting, the teacher puts the solution to the problem on the board but tells us to put the questions which have no solutions. Moreover, if we ask to clear any doubt then the answer is "oops I will refer about this and t...

It is a great college with a good environment, good people, and amazing students.

Placements: The number of students in our batch was 28. The highest number of students was from management and business administration, while the lowest was from the arts, humanities, and social sciences. Our batch is yet to get the internship, but quite a lot of students did their internship and got decent jobs. The top roles offered in our courses are Psychologist, Social worker, and a few work with different NGOs.

The college has NCC and football.

Placements: The college claims to invite many big companies but only a few local agencies come for recruitment. No core companies visit the campus. The salary package is 8000 to 14000. There is no internship in my college.
